If you haven't seen them, here's a link to the official announcement: warriorcats.com/content/article/first-look-at-new-warriors-minisBut yeah, personally I think the designs look.. kinda bad. Bluestar, Darkstripe, and Hawkfrost look.. okay, I guess. It's just most of the colors I have gripes with. I mean, theyre all just waay too vibrant. I could barely recognize Crooked, Mothwing or Maple. I'm not sure if its a "me" problem or if the designers just screwed it up that bad, but Mapleshade is yellow. Like literally orange yellow (if that is mapleshade im looking at, it full well could be Mothwing, I dont even know). I'll try and mark each cat so you know who you're looking at. From left to right, the top two cats are Crookedstar and Bluestar, the cat in the middle is Mothwing, down a row is Mapleshade and the bottom two are Darkstripe (who looks really good imo) and Hawkfrost. I think personally the thing that bugs me the most is Crookedstar's jaw. He's supposed to have a scar there, not a gaping wound. I dont understand how they screwed that up so bad. And they made Mothflight orange, for some reason. I almost thought she was Mapleshade for a second. Anyways, ill leave the rest up to you guys, because I've already written an entire essay on why I think these designs are bad haha |

I think Bluestar looks the best out of all six with Darkstripe close behind. Crookestar's twisted jaw being showcased with his tongue sticking out is a design choice I've seen before with pinkbunnygirl43's LPS based custom design for him having a similar vibe and I'm personally liking how that looks. This Mapleshade mini seems to be based more on her alternate orange and white design with some black patches mixed in rather than her actual tortoiseshell and white (and black) one instead but maybe that's just the lighting. Hawkfrost looks amazing (loving the ear tufts) except for him only having a white beard-looking part on his chin and not his underbelly like he is described to have (but maybe that's just obscured because of his sitting position who knows). Mothwing is just a little too orangey indeed which again could simply have to do with the lighting situation. But we'll see the actual results more clearly when people start getting the Series 4 minis in the mail anyways so there's that.

I feel like Mothwing and Mapleshade should really swap the shades of ginger they both have. Mapleshades ginger is too yellow and Mothwings ginger is too orange.

I feel like Mothwing and Mapleshade should really swap the shades of ginger they both have. Mapleshades ginger is too yellow and Mothwings ginger is too orange. Agreed! I love golden Mothwing and I wish the mini would reflect that. |

CP mentions that it sticks out of his mouth. “This cat’s jaw was twisted from just below his ear, hardly visible beneath one cheek, sunken horribly beneath the top lip. His nose was stretched sideways and up, and his tongue poked out at one side, lolling between his teeth like a fat pink worm.” |

That CP description of Crookedstar's jaw injury is lowkey being kinda rude at the end there with the comparison of his tongue poking out looking like a worm though. Like, why did they have to do him like that?! I actually don't even remember him being described like this. Which chapter/page was it on? |

I literally will take any bit of Hawkfrost merch I can get. This was the first time I've ever bought off the Warrior Cats website (AND my first time buying Warriors merch ever).
I think what got me is that you can't buy the figures separately so I had to get Mothwing too (a character I don't really care too much for) just so I can get Hawk. I honestly think the figures look good! Like... They look really really cool and I love how they even have scars on the characters described with scars. Idk don't have much complaints about them probably cuz I'm starved for Hawk merch lmfao

I think Mothwing looks the best but I probably won't be getting her. I really wanted the Bluestar one, but she just looks strange. Her legs are weirdly lumpy and she has more scars than what was described in the books.
