TBC: / Have not properly read it yet but if I had to go based on wiki info then Spotfur
ASC: Too early to say tbh but Splashtail is interesting in terms of potential so him

I know most of these are seen as major or supporting characters in their respective arcs rather than outright background cats but oh well.

background cat isnt the same as secondary or side character imo, so i have to dig deep dow my favorites. background cat usually means [imo] they have very little (if any) speaking roles or interaction with the main characters.

Yeah this is more or less what I meant, but I would stretch it to include characters who had a semi-important role/task at some point - but not a secondary one (ex, Graystripe i feel has a secondary role vs Brackenfur is more what I mean by 'background'. But I don't care how people answer it, whatever they interpret as bg!

I guess I can answer as well but my favorite bg character isn't in any series... it is Snookthorn from SkyClan's Destiny.
