What if Onewhisker had taken in Darktail to join WindClan...

There have been threads made about this specific scenario on here in the past but due to me having just watched a MAP that explores this concept, I thought making my own topic about it might be a good idea.
Because I do think, and this gets shown in the MAP as well, that Onewhisker would probably not have been a great father towards Darktail even if he had let him into WindClan. He might have neglected/ignored Darktail for the most part due to feeling embarrassed about his son's mere existence.
It really just seems as though Darktail was destined to have resentments or full on revenge thoughts when it came to his father, no matter what. Except if Smoke was in WindClan too and she had been there for him.
Alas, here is the video which explores a possible outcome of Onewhisker bringing Darktail to his Clan and then basically leaving him be there to fend for himself. So, not exactly an ideal outcome for Darktail or their thus more than just strained father-son relationship.
This video in particular does remind me of those edgy AU MAPs where usually perceived to be morally just characters (such as Ravenpaw or Alderheart) got turned evil, in terms of the overall vibe and Darktail's character design here. Even though, the circumstances and motivations for Darktail in this are, of course, different and based on his canon characterization to a considerable extent as opposed to just turning a good cat evil.
But hey, Sol and also Scourge (for some reason) are in this alongside Darktail which plays up the edge style factor to a considerable extent even more, in my opinion. It does seem like this AU/What if scenario takes place entirely in the lake territories instead of first in the forest territories and thus without having to take the Great Journey into account in terms of distance between the two. Considering that Smoke is found dead in the lake and it doesn't take Darktail long at all to find and convince BloodClan to fight alongside him and Sol. Still a cool MAP idea concept though and has some really good animation parts in it.
