Deciduousclan - Planning Done

I like the idea of the gifts. And maybe it doesn't have to just be shells. It could be like shells, feathers, and even the blue stones at the bottom of the pools in the Forest of Waterfalls and each one means something different?


I'll try to work on writing out some rules when I get the extra time.


Alright. I'll type out a good size paragraph of an about for the clan as a whole then for that spot.

And maybe it could be that it's common for families to all wear the same type of feather in their fur somewhere, like behind their ear or nestled into their tail fur or something??

Camp:: 
The camp is settled just east of the center of the territory in a thickly wooded area filled with plenty of dens, even extra ones in case they're needed. The dens are settled throughout the area and the brush between the main dens has been removed and so the area created into a clearing of sorts. The fresh-kill pile is at the center next to a pile of stones and the removed brush was used to reinforce the brush surrounding the camp to make it more camouflaged and so harder to find as well as more well protected.

Leaders Den::
Settled on the south side of camp opposite the entrance, the leader's den is large enough to fit up to four cats comfortably. Placed in a hill with a branch falling across the top. The leader calls clan meetings from up on the hill.


Medicine Cat Den::
Placed halfway between the leader's den and elder's den, the medicine cat den is the most open den within the camp. Settled in the large, open root system of a large tree the inside is large enough to fit the nests of both medicine cats and their apprentices as well as up to six extra nests for sick cats, while still having room to move around easily. Herbs are stared within a thicker section of the roots that has a lot of little clefts and areas to place them, the medicine cat nests being closest to this spot.


Warriors Den and Apprentices Den::
The warriors den and apprentices den are directly next to each other and also beside the entrance into camp. The two dens are semi on top of each other with the warriors den above and the apprentices den below. Both can be made larger by digging out the inside as both are simply dirt inside and the den is in a hill like the leader's den. Currently the apprentices den can fit up to twelve and the warriors den can fit up to thirty.


Nursery::
Placed between the leaders den and the warriors den, the nursery is also in a hill with a lot of greenery and brush still around it to help hide it better and keep it warmer during the colder months. It can fit up to four mothers with their litters currently but can be made bigger if needed.


Elders Den::
Placed between the medicine cat den and the entrance, the elders den is also in the roots of tree. The den was dug out for the most part and can fit up to seven elders at the moment. Like many of the other dens it can also be made bigger.

Those look great. I'd say have a rule 7 which is just additional rules to be added if needed just in case anything comes up that would make sense to have as a rule?

Day of Remembrance: When a clanmate dies, no matter the age, the clan uses a whole day to honor and celebrate that cat's life, believing the cat's spirit is with them for one last day before moving on. The day is spent sharing stories of the deceased cat, and making sure their family is okay. At night a small ceremony is held by the medicine cat as they send the spirit on their journey home to Oasisclan. Overnight the whole clan sleeps outside with the body, with the family being the ones closest. In the morning, the family takes the body outside to bury, where the feathers are taken from the cat's fur and used to mark the grave. It's as if by some kind of miracle, or the will of Oasisan themselves, but the feathers never seem to disappear from where they stand.

A fluffy grey and white tom, with black tabby markings. He has small specks on brown on his muzzle and ears, with green eyes. and Quietrun is heavily lead by his heart. He tends to not fully think things through as a result, if he thinks something is wrong he tends to make his voice heard. he is a passionate tom, willing to go to great lengths to defend those that might not be able to defend themselves. He is always willing for a fun competition. Quietrun is a outgoing cat, able to make friends with ease, but tends to remain content with those that he is close with.

Open || Born in the clan during leafbare. He often would explore on his own then play with the other kits. He often had competitions with Starlingkit that cared into their apprentice moons, with it growing more intense with the new freedom that came with being apprentices. As a result it delayed their trials till the two could mature. Now as warriors he still has competitions with Starlinggaze, but they are more good natured, as the two have grown to be close friends. Starlinggaze is a brown tom with amber eyes. He has long fur, with a chocolate brown colored nose. Starlinggaze is a cat that values knowledge the most in others. As he finds without it, then there would be no change that gets done. He is a fierce tom in battle, but outside of it, he's one of the gentlest cat's you would ever meet. He is up for friendly competitions. Starlinggaze is able to make friends, but is selective with who he grows close with and who he keeps at a distance.

Open || Born in the clan during leafbare. He often would be with other kits playing games. He had competitions with Quietkit, that usually led to them getting into trouble. They grew more intense as apprentices, that it delayed their trials till they could mature. Now as warriors he is close with Quietrun, and is still willing to partake in competitions with him. Queen || Delphi(Ravenleg) || 36 Moons || She Cat || Heterosexual

A lean and small grey she cat, with black markings on her fur, in the shapes of lines and spots. She has pale green eyes, with a scar on her flank. Ravenleg is a motherly she cat, often looking out for the young cats of the clan, but never trying to put herself in place of their mothers. She often keeps things to herself when she is distressed not wanting to bother anyone with what is plaguing her mind. Ravenleg struggles to open up.

Expecting 4 kits/Formerly Onyx || Originally a kittypet, with a purebreed egyptian background, her housefolk often putting her in cat shows. She had fallen in love with another cat there, and when her housefolk found out she was expecting kits they threw her out to the streets. She stumbled across a Deciduousclan patrol, who took the expecting she cat into the clan where she would be able to have her kits safely. She has since grew to be at home in the clan. She plans to partake in the trials and training to join the clan officially, and will receive the name Ravenleg when she does complete. || Ember34 || Codeword

A golden and white tabby she cat. She has a scar on her left should that arches around to her back. She has pale green eyes. She has a lean figure. Shininglight as always been a bit more caring about her own needs compared to others. But she still tries to make sure everyone is looked after. She is driven by her ambitions and desires to be important. She put her work before ever making friends, or getting close to many. She is manipulative, able to get cats to do what she wants through a few sweet words, and when that doesn't work she uses intimidation.

Lakepaw, Coldpaw, Krestelbound, Gorsefeather, Sandleap/Ex Mate Open/Crush Open || Shininglight was born in the clan, along side her sisters Krestelkit and Duskkit. She never got along with Krestelkit, refusing to even sleep in the same nest as her. She often forced Duskkit to do things with her, to not let the sister she actually liked to spend time with Krestelkit. She never got along with either of her parents, Gorsefeather and Sandleap. When she became an apprentice, Sandleap died, and Shiningpaw had been upset over her death but eventually moved on. Her sister, Duskpaw ended up leaving the clan after falling in love with a rogue and went to be with him. Something that Shiningpaw never forgave her for. She and Krestelpaw became warriors not to long after, earning the names Shininglight and Krestelheart. Shininglight worked hard, aiming to become deputy, and one day leader. So when she fell in love with one of her clanmates, and started expecting his kits, she was less then pleased. She never told the tom, and she went out into the forest on her own and had her kits, before pushing them onto Vanillacloud, and passing them off as loner kits, never to this day still, does she claim them as her kin. She was heartbroken when Gorsefeather died, and was more grief striken at the lose of her father compared to her mother. || Ember34 || Codeword

Lightleaf is a ginger brown tom with a mix of tabby markings and strange spotting to his fur. He has short fur with a  dark pink nose. He has green eyes.  Lightleaf is a hard working cat, wanting to strive to tend to what needs to be done. He has a strong love for helping others, and making sure they are okay. He deals with a lot of anxiety when in battle, and when he is treating other cats, when helping the medicine cats out, and tends to suffer with anxiety attacks after he finishes. He is very nonconfrontational, and just tries to go along with the least violent path.

Open/Open || Lightleaf was born in the clan during greenleaf. He had spent a lot of time in the medicine cat den growing up, learning the various herbs, and learning how to treat minor injuries. He eventually joined to be a medicine cat apprentice. He had gone through half his training, before he switched to being a warrior. Due to guilt her had been consumed by, when he failed to help a patient that was severely injured, the cat dying of blood loss. While his mentor had tried to comfort him, Lightleaf couldn't handle it and switched paths. He still retains knowledge from his medicine cat training, and when it is absolutely needed, he helps out the medicine cats. || Ember34 || Codeword




Warrior || Finchdust || 16 Moons || She Cat || Asexual

A silver and black she cat, with fleck of white. She has white toes on her back paws, with her front paws being purely black. Her tail is fully black as are her ears. She has a black mask on her face, with a patch of white on her muzzle. She has ice blue eyes. Finchdust is a standoffish she cat, tending to keep to herself. She gets annoyed when cats come up to her and start talking like they are friends if she isn't close with them. She is silent she cat, making her be great at stealth, and tends to use it to sneak up on those that she considers her friends, and on prey. She loves the waterfalls, and can commonly be found relaxing there.

Open || Born in the clan, her father had no interest in having a family, so he was very absentee in her kithood. Making her mother be very protective and cautious to let her do anything. She often snuck out at night to look around the camp, finding it hard to do so with the way her mother was. She at least kept out of the dens, though the guards at night were often willing to talk with her for a while before walking her back to the nursery to ensure the kit's safety. Her apprenticehood was like a breath of fresh air, finally able to get to do things, without her mother there to try and hold her back. || Ember34 || Codeword

Coldpaw is the spitting image of his mother. Being a golden and white tabby tom, with amber eyes from his father. He has a lean build, with white whiskers. Coldpaw struggles with self esteem issues, and as a result tends to bite off more then he can chew, as he tries to prove himself, and meet up with expectations he feels he needs to. He loves his family dearly, and is always terrified of letting them down. Due to the abandonment of his blood mother, he suffers with trust issues.

Shininglight, Lakepaw, Open Father, Vanillacloud(adoptive Mother)/Crush Will Develop || Born in the forest alongside Lakepaw. He was given to a queen in the nursery by Shininglight, under the guise of being a loner's abandoned kits. He was close with Vanillacloud, and always wanted to make things easy for her. He works hard now that he is an apprentice, wanting to show his worth. He does not know that Shininglight is his mother.|| Ember34 || Codeword

A grey tabby she cat, with a white chest and head, her marking are grey, which hides them everywhere on her body except for her head and chest. She has amber eyes. Lakepaw is the trouble maker, and tended to be the one that caused problems, though she never truly meant to. She has matured though, while she still likes finding the next adventure she knows there is a time and place. Lakepaw is confident and never seems to be down for very long, and tends to try help assure her brother he could never let her down. She is a supportive cat, something she attributes to Vanillacloud, and strives to be as brave as the queen is.

Coldpaw, Shininglight, Open Father, Vanillacloud(Adoptive Mother)/Crush Open || Born in the forest alongside her brtoher Coldpaw to Shininglight. She was given to Vanlliacloud under the guise of being a loner's abandoned kits. She wasn't close with her adoptive mother compared to her brother, instead wanting to spend her time exploring the camp, but she still highly values the she cat for taking them in. Warrior || Junipertree || 40 Moons || Tom || Demisexual

Similar to his father, he is a black and white cat. With most of his fur being black, with pale yellow eyes. He has a permanent bend in his tail from when he fell out of a tree as an apprentice. Junipertree is a friendly tom, always welcoming to everyone he meets. He never seems to let cat’s get on his bad side, many believing he doesn’t have one. Never one to ever show his anger, he smiles wherever he goes. He however has a weak immune system, often causing for him to fall ill when weather is cold. He does have his struggles, feeling guilty for never outing what his father had done. He strives to put himself as far apart from that part of his blood as possible. He fears fighting, and often opts out of it, not wanting to risk becoming like Badgereyes. He avoids looking at his reflection as much as he can.


Badgereyes/Open || Born to Badgereyes and ?. He was a sickly kit, who barely made it past his first moon of life. But he slowly got stronger, but was delayed in being made an apprentice, after suffering from a harsh sickness. He tried to make up for it by throwing his all into the training, while he excelled in hunting and stealth, he failed in just about every other category. Which caused for his trial to be on hold, till he was able to be average in the other categories. He witnessed one of his father’s crimes. || Ember34 || Codeword

Deciduousclan is known for being a very diverse collection of cats. Thanks to the diversity of their territory and the close by two-leg place there exists cats of all different fur lengths, body shapes, colors, and even genetic mutations. The names within the clan are just as diverse as the cats themselves with the personalities being just so as well. They are a loyal clan of cats that are more lenient when it comes to outsiders, which has led to several loners and even some kittypets joining their ranks. With this diversity comes relationships of all different types form straight to gay to even polyamorous relationships being seen within the clan. Different traditions have arisen and they follow Oasisclan as their ancestors, with their dark ancestors being called The Drowned Ones.
