Either Pebbleshine is both their mom or it's someone else
Either Darktail would still be Onestar's son either not
Pebbleshine = Hawkwing's mate because she loves him
= Darktail's mate either to protect Hawkwing either because Darktail manipulated her or she was upset because Hawkwing was still traumatized over Duskpaw's death
Pebbleshine's kits would be about Pebbleshine being confronted by both her daughters who are mad because she had two relationships and one with Darktail as a mate

That would make Pebbleshine more interesting
And Hawkwing hasn't had a clue about Pebbleshine's nearly break-up with him (she still was kinda obsessed about him because there were bits of their former love still present) and Twigbranch Violetshine didn't have the heart to tell him
Finally, it would make sense storewise because Violetshine's story is about the kin and Twigbranch's about SkyClan, the only thing that you would also have to change are that either Violetshine looks a lot like Pebbleshine or her parentage reveal comes a lot sooner so she tells Darktail about her mom and it explains the way he treat her, it also could explain why Violetshine sticked to the Kin, I would add a phase where she wonders what could've been had the Kin not being defeated
