The book's been out for a little over a week now. What's your opinion on it? I personally didn't like it that much and felt like things were just happening for the sake of happening. It did, however, make me like Frostpaw and RiverClan considerably more and it had it's fair share of good moments.

Not voting since I have not actually read Sky yet (just he OP spoiler thread and wiki articles). I'm still excited to read it for myself (hopefully by tomorrow when my copy arrives) and will most likely make my own thread/post a review about it like I did with River already. That being said, I did see someone state that for them, reading Sky felt like it was more of a setup book for possible conclusions happening in Shadow than anything else. Woud not be surprising if true considering that important things regarding various major storylines in the past arcs do tend to happen in a lot of book threes of the Warriors series after all.

I enjoyed reading it overall. I thought Sunbeam was amazing, Nightheart was good/alright, and Frostpaw was alright. I wish the green cough killed more cats, I liked the Nightbeam romance, and I liked the end of the book with River vs Shadow. Some parts of the book made some weird family connections, such as cats comparing Tigerstar2 to Tigerstar1 despite the fact that this isn't the first time he's done something like this. Like why bring it up now? Also, that's clearly not what Tigerstar was going for, but it was still pretty awful of him lolz. Like most of these cats act as if they've never met Tigerstar2 before.
I hope SplashFrost NEVER becomes a thing, and I hope he's evil. Owlnose annoyed me so much that I wish the green cough would have just killed him/hj
Sunbeam and her sister-in-law have a cool bond forming, and I like her character growth this book.
Overall enjoyable, not as enjoyable as last book, but still pretty good.
