Love FireCinder to pieces. One of my favorite fanon Firestar ships. I do understand that there are people who might be uncomfortable with the situation of him being her former mentor though. But to me, as long as there are no weird thoughts on a mentor's part while they are still training their apprentice and they also don't pull a Onestar directly adressing that former power dynamic like some form of creepy achievement when actually becoming mates (big yikes to that), I'm not sure why two adults, who happen to previously be teacher and student, could not both consent to and have a healthy relationship with each other that works out well.

Beautifully healthy and lovely relationship, the foundation of their friendship would have made them a great couple too, and I feel like in AU's they would have work better than what we got in canon.

Would have liked it if it was canon, at least out of pairings with the cats who actually were into Fireheart. Spottedleaf is okay but boring in TPB and is an insufferable ghost stalker simp in everything after that. Sandstorm is not a bad person but she's also annoyingly clingy and insecure, and switching to passive aggressive bitch mode towards Cinderpelt when she picks up on the latter's feelings towards Fireheart really rubbed me the wrong way.
