Welcome welcome! Yall know the popular Clan Create game: everyone adds a cat to the allegiances until you make a full Clan of them and start over. This is like that, but with a few more phases~ We're making the whole Clan, not just the allegiances!
Please do follow the format! If you have any questions on how to participate, ping me or ask~ It should be rather straightforward. Each phase should feel "complete" before moving on to the next, BUT that doesn't mean it has to be "finished" don't be afraid to go back to previous phases and add more things if you come up with new ideas!
The game is simple: Copy the current Clan, add a few details for the current phase, and post! You can add to a phase multiple times so long as there's another poster in between. Additions don't need to be long to be good: a well thought-out and creative line is usually better than lengthy paragraphs!!! And you don't have to solo complete an entire phase yourself! Perhaps only do the general camp location, and leave room for others to add in some dens~ (PS spoiler tags might be necessary to condense some of the larger sections, we'll see how this goes on the first run mk)
PHASE 1: CLAN NAME Simple, the first poster on a new Clan gets to make the name. Everything else will be based off this so make it good!
PHASE 2: TERRITORY DESCRIPTION A generalized description of the land the Clan lives on. Is it forested? Mountainous? in the middle of a city? Rarely is a Clan entirely one thing, so multiple people can participate in this phase. Use this space to talk about biomes or large zones in the territory.
PHASE 3: LANDMARKS Describe 3+ landmarks on the Clan's territory. Are there rivers and lakes? A big tree that's good for hunting around? A barn? Somewhere dangerous that is forbidden to travel alone? Minimum of three, but again, add more if you think of fun ones!
PHASE 4: CAMP Where do the cats live? Describe their camp and any notable locations within it. Describe the dens, where the leader can make announcements, the best place to gossip, and where they store fresh-kill. Things like that~
PHASE 5: THE CATS So by now, we should have a decent idea of what the Clan is about. Here's the section where we talk about what makes the Clan special. To begin, two players each give an adjective to describe the Clan (eg. "loyal" and "cunning" or "sneaky" and "brave"). Next, a player describes what the Clan is good at. Think "Swimming" for RiverClan, "Stealth" for ShadowClan. Lastly, fill in some descriptors that outsiders would notice from the Clan. This can be common pelt colors or fur lengths, eye color, build, scent, things that another Clan would use to describe them!
PHASE 6: ALLEGIANCES finally the phase we all know and love~ Everyone adds a cat until it's done. Minimum of 15, max of 30.
PHASE 7: TRIVIA Once the allegiances feel complete, time for trivia! Add 3-5 random facts, blurbs, or notes about the Clan! This is a bit of a wild card phase and should be used to describe plotlines, romances, important history, traditions, and things like that! Really bring the Clan to life!
PHASE 8: SUBMIT This is just a little phase to ensure that everyone added everything they want to. Now's your chance to go back and add extra details to any of the other phases before we move to the next Clan.
All finished Clans will be archived on the next post (: Have fun with this "Challenge Mode!"

Spiderclan Territory: Caves that tunnel through a mountain with one entrance/exit and a forest outside the cave entrance. The trees are extremely close together, making the atmosphere dark and damp. The water comes from an underground river inside the mountain. The forest has a small clearing where a two-leg hunter hut is located.

Camp: They live in the largest cavern that has cracks in the earth on its ceiling, allowing light to fill up the space somewhat. Water gathers in a small pool that leads to a stream outside the cave. The medicine cat likes to use this pool to watch the stars using the reflection of the sky. The leader speaks on a boulder that looks like it had been cracked in two: the Speaking Stone. They make their den in a woven thicket right behind it. The medicine cat's den is in a small tunnel where shelves in the rock make for perfect herb storage. The rest of the dens are open, nests placed on top of anywhere elevated and flat. Queens like to make their nests in alcoves for more privacy. In one of these alcoves is the freshkill pile.

SpiderClan doesn't get into trouble, nor start any trouble; they keep to themselves and are an enigma to anyone not directly affiliated with them.

The cats of the clan usually have darker tones, such as black, dark brown or greys. There are rarely any whites within the clans, with only one light colour popping out every 5-6 generations. Their eyes are also generally darker colours like brown or hazel, never bright colours like amber, yellow or blue. Green eyes are another colour that is a rarity, though not as rare as the lighter coloured pelts.

The deepest tunnels in the east are narrow and labyrinthine, and all cats of SpiderClan are warned not to go too deep. Over generations, more and more tunnels are marked with claw scratches and markers, making it possible to travel further into the depths with relative safety, so long as the cat understands the meaning behind the trail marks, which are a patchwork of several cats' methods. The area is simply known as the Web, and there are tales of cats being stalked and eaten by a giant spider that lives in the depths, though of course no cat has seen the monster. More realistically, the tales were born when curious cats ventured too far and never found their way back out again.

The cats of the clan can hunt in the area during leaf-fall and leaf-bare, but it is forbidden to be close to the area during greenleaf and newleaf. It's during that time that the cats stick close to the caves as much as possible.
The Cats: The invisible and sheltered
From what little the cats outside the Clan know about SpiderClan, they are described as simply elusive. Patrols are sparse and their borders are desolate, void of clan cats at all on their side, leading the other clans to believe that they schedule themselves around the other cats to avoid any meetings beside any of their borders. SpiderClan doesn't get into trouble, nor start any trouble; they keep to themselves and are an enigma to anyone not directly affiliated with them. They have little/limited knowledge of the world outside their borders.
Allegiances: Leader: Whisperstar - A silver tabby she-cat with green eyes.
Deputy: Slatefang - A dark gray tom with dark copper eyes. (Sister: Streambrook)
Medicine Cat: Streambrook- a dark grey tabby she-cat with hazel eyes. (Brother: Slatefang)
Medicine Cat Apprentice: Splashpaw - A long-haired black tom with light blue eyes.
Warriors: Thistleclaw- a dark brown tabby tom with green eyes. Rainheart - A shaggy-furred gray tom with brown eyes.

*Whisperstar isn't clan born, she came into the clan as a young warrior seeking refuge from her old group of rouges, whose leader had become tyrannical.
* The clan is values their history and teaches their apprentices about it so that no one ever forgets where they came from.
* The clan used to have a test before apprentices became warriors called the Tunnel Trial, where they would have to spend a day, alone navigating the tunnels, they got rid of it because of the frequency of apprentices getting lost.

[[ Yo! Doing a quick check in since we've gotten a solid start on the first Clan. And isn't it wonderful! I love the climbing cats and their little tunnels <3
I'm not going to police rules on the thread; however yall think it's most fun will be how it's played, and I think that after a few go-arounds of Clans, it'll fall into a comfortable pattern. I do want to give a quick reminder that "phases" are not "turns". Just like one person doesn't make every cat in the allegiances, one person probably shouldn't make the entire camp, or all the landmarks by themself. The fun of the game is building off other people's ideas, so do try to not take an entire phase away from the group by completing the entire phase in one post.
tho again, I'm sure we'll find a balance as the game continues~~ Keep being creative!! ]]

* The clan used to have a test before apprentices became warriors called the Tunnel Trial, where they would have to spend a day, alone navigating the tunnels, they got rid of it because of the frequency of apprentices getting lost.
