So we know Riverstar is getting the SE in 2023.
As for 2024...Ivypool is pretty likely I think. I would like it if she got one and it focused on her after A Light in the Mist. I'm just...really hoping they don't end up giving Super Editions to characters that already have novellas. The only reason I'm really concerned about this is because Mistystar and Blackstar were options in the polls previously. Onestar was in one of the first polls we got and he eventually got one. I dunno. I'd just rather they give them to more obscure characters in the Warriors universe rather than giving them to cats we've already seen plenty of or the "legacy" characters.
Thoughts? Who do you think will get the SE after Riverstar? They seem to like giving ThunderClan cats SEs a lot. :/

I want an Ivypool one as well as long as it will not be a retelling/rehash of her OotS role and instead features her perspective on the events in AVoS, TBC, ASC or anything in between those arcs.
Other than this, a Snowtuft SE could be glorious although he might only get a novella, who knows.

Does she have any ambition at all to become deputy/leader herself? I know Ivystar is a popular fan desire but it would be interesting to see if she actually wants that. What was running through her mind when Darktail came? What were her thoughts during the impostor's reign? How is she faring now that her daughter is gone forever? I think there's a lot of stuff that could be done there. I'd love a Snowtuft Super Edition, although I'd prefer one on Silverhawk. |

I didn't want a Ivypool SE initially because I didn't want spoilers for ASC. But now if it came out, it would come out between books 5 & 6. As long as it's not a retelling of OOTS. I wouldn't mind seeing her first fall for Fernsong and being in the nursery with their kits.

Most (but not all) other modern leaders got a Super Edition or at the very least a Novella (except for Brokenstar, Rowanstar and Harestar). Even Nightstar got a Graphic Novel this year. I'm feeling quite bad for Harestar tbh. He has not received much attention ever since helping ShadowClan in AVoS and besides getting killed once by Lionblaze during TBC. It really does seem as if WindClan might become the new RiverClan in terms of lacking story importance or prominent content featuring them in recent times. |

I really hope we don't have an Ivypool SE because I don't see the point of giving her a whole other book when there's plenty more characters out there who could use more development. I guess I'll have to wait and see what direction the editors decide to go in.

I'd love an Ivypool SE tbh, because as others have said already, it's long overdue at this point and she has plenty of potential and story to give, especially after TBC. Also since she was already on the poll for consideration of one I'm guessing they do have something planned for her, she needs to be set up for leader to be honest and an SE would help more.
And the only other character I can think of right now that would be good for an SE is probably Harestar, especially since it seems WindClan isn't getting much focus in the current arc.
Some novella ideas: Nightcloud, Cinderpelt, Rootspring, Fringewhisker, Lizardtail, Molewhisker, Pouncestep, Shattered Ice, Cloverfoot, Kestrelflight, Sleekwhisker, Leaf (DotC), or Owlnose.

I think it’s probably unlikely for Ivypool to receive a SE. given that the Erin’s have only ever written Super Editions of prominent characters that are currently a medicine cat/leader or deputy, or is being foreshadowed/setup to become one, and thus far have never deviated from that pattern. And with their being virtually no focus on Ivypool as of the first 2 books of ASC. Unless they start giving her some prominent focus and development in Shadow(or whichever book comes after) that gravitated towards her assuming the role of leader, in the event that both Squirrelflight and Bramblestar either die/retire, and there’s a necessary selection for that role to be assigned to someone else. Which could happen I suppose. But there’s not really any setup for it atm.
Who would I like to see SE’s on? Well presuming it will either be a ShC or Skyclan SE(being its been since ThS and Hawkwings Journey respectively) that they received one. I’d want a Clear Sky SE(see if they can give him a legitimate redemption arc and reason for being in Starclan), or a Cedarstar or Raggedstar SE for Shadowclan, or a Russetfur one to give some insight into her earlier life as a loner. Really anytime before Brokenstar gained prominence to give some historical context on how Shadowclan become so bloodthirsty and combative during that period.

Tbh I want a Darktail SE. Or an SE of a villain. Me too! Darktail honestly should have gotten the Super Edition his father got instead this year imo. As for other villains, as I've already said in my original comment on this thread, I'm really hoping that Snowtuft gets an SE or at least a novella since we really do not know a lot about his past outside of the Dark Forest appearances besides him being from ShadowClan and "caring a lot about power" back then. I do think it will probably be more likely that villains might one day continue to get Novellas written about them instead of bigger books, or perhaps even Graphic Novels. Like it was the case with Tigerclaw/star and Mapleshade in regards to novellas and Mudclaw (redeemed antagonist) regarding GNs so far. Of course, it would be insanely epic (to me) if Snowtuft managed to get a GN considering that he fits into the category of former villains as well just like Mudclaw. |

I forgot about naming Hawkfrost as well even though I've been wanting literally anything from his perspective for years (doesn't matter to me if it's just a Novella, an entire SE or even a GN). Just give me something, writers! All of his (half)siblings (besides Tadpole) have gotten supplementary material already as well so him not getting a book too until now despite playing an important role in at least a few arcs just seems unfair and kinda like a waste. |

For me super editions are for cats who play(ed) a important role but we never knew their backstory (Bluestar, Crookedstar, Yellowfang) and a SE was big enough to explain everything. I don’t think there’s a character like that now, probably only novellas. I’d love a novella about Snowtuft though

I hope that we eventually get super editions or novellas for Snowtuft, Ashfur, Harestar, and Juniperclaw at some point. Novellas for Antpelt and Redwillow would also be nice! And also maybe Fidgetflake, he’s cute and I really wouldn’t mind learning a bit more about him.
