I'm a rather dorky high school senior who fixates on things waaaay too much. Magical girl anime, for example: I will never stop recommending Nurse Angel Ririka SOS to those who like that sort of thing.
I haven't been involved in the Warriors fandom for years, actually. I posted a bunch of bad fanfics on the Warriors section of FF net as a sixth grader, and I did and said a lot of things on there that I cringe at now. My username, for example, was Mapleshade1018 - what was I thinking? And I defended Starkit's Prophecy from some people doing MST3K-style commentaries of it without even reading the original story to see what was in it. When I actually saw what was in it years later, I completely changed my mind. Still, I'm afraid to say that I was quite irritating for a while.
I eventually became disillusioned with the A Vision of Shadows arc, and between that and some issues I was having, I stopped interacting with the fandom for quite a while. When the pandemic started, I read most of the books I'd missed since I was bored, but I stopped around the middle of Darkness Within. It's probably just nostalgia, but I feel like the series went downhill after OoTS.
But a few days ago, I suddenly felt a HUGE amount of nostalgia for the Warrior Cats fandom, so I decided to write a new fanfic and maybe even join some forums! You see, I'd wanted to join back in sixth grade, but I was afraid of my parents not approving. But that's not really an issue anymore, so here I am! I probably won't be in the discussion about the actual books much (except maybe the older ones), but I do enjoy the fandom and all the interesting fanworks I see.
