1. Ravenstar's omen (idea from shoe) Having served the Clan for many moons, Ravenstar had been receiving a series of omens in her dream recently. In each of her dreams, a raven takes the lead. The dreams seemed to be representing the Clan's past, present and future.
In the first dream, Ravenstar was led down to the creek where she finds the rotting corpse of a deer/buck, which may be symbolic of the past as former Stagstar's appointment of Ravenstar as deputy.

Consider as a tradition, a festival every two moons for older apprentices to compete and see who's ready to become warriors. It ends with a naming ceremony Sounds interesting! Considering hunting skills are currently the main focus for ForestClan cats, I'd suggest the competition to be about hunting, sort of like the apprentice with the more prey gets to claim their name by the end of the ceremony. Since the cats tend to hunt in groups, I think it would be fair for them to work in pairs during the ceremony. I was thinking that the winning pair get named, but they have to switch roles (take turn hunting or watching) during the competition. How do you think? I will mention this new tradition in the main RP later if you think it makes sense. |
