heres a prophecy: a kit is born a hero. but when hes older he mates with the med cat and before he mates he gets poisioned and is okay but fakes it more to mate with her

I'd love to help! I've got a couple of questions, though: - You seem to have unique ranks, but how do those ranks differ from Warriors canon? For example, how does a Monarch differ from a leader? Does this Clan also have a deputy-adjacent role, or is the role of Monarch hereditary? Are medicine cats also religious leaders/oracles for StarClan, or does MerClan have its own belief system, given that the Monarch's name doesn't have a -star suffix? If scounts and hunters are separate roles within the clan, is there any room for fighters or guardsmen, or do they also take on those duties? What is a fish cat?
- Your idea for a prophecy is solid and dramatic, but how is a kit born a hero? Was his birth conveniently timed so that by tending to it the Clan avoided some major disaster and only realized it afterwards? Was he just born into a position of high power? Did he achieve some great heroic deed as a newly-made apprentice?
- Some info on the setting would be nice! Clearly it's related to the ocean, but is it an island? A seashore? An abandoned ocean bungalow? In the water? How did the Clan end up here?
Sorry that was a little overwhelming, but don't worry about having all of the answers to those questions right now - I mean them more as suggestions than anything else. Excited to see where this goes.

the Clan is mixed with Clan being mermaid and going on land. The Clan is merged with tribe cats. Once they are past trainees, they gain a tribe name, with the Clan name prefix-suffix at the start. can we change the prothecy. they live ocean for mertails and turn on land as cats. hunters share tracking down prey and are warriors too
