i would def join something like this, now that im back to the college vibes i'll be around a lot more

Maybe 5 lives? And I'd say have a knight and hunters, just so there's not so much pressure on the knights to watch over the royals.

The apprentices for the herbalists/priest could be called acolytes its basically another name for helper or assistant. I like the idea of the higher ranks being forced into arranged marriage.

It might be a bit on the nose but we could call the older hunters senior hunters

I think 5 lives is good also.

Five lives sounds good to me. I like the term toxophilite for young cats training to be hunters. Cats training to be Herbalists could be students. The royals children will get special training from the high priest, their parents and maybe one royal guards and senior hunters.

There is still a lot to think about and to plan but I'm excited for this rp!

Any thoughts on the name? I'm leaning towards Sovereignclan but I'm open to suggestions.

SovereignClan: The Mighty and Noble 


Castle floors

1st floor Great Hall (for meetings), Room for the elders, infirmary for herbalist, courtyard/garden? 

2nd floor- Nursery, Room for the knights, hunters,  toxophilites and squires. Extra room for something else

3rd floor- Royal guard quarters and Lead Hunters quarters 

4th floor Rooms for the royals, most cats are forbidden to enter without permission or an escort by a guard especially at knight. 

More coming soon just wanted to get these out so I don't forget. I like to think since there are so many rooms, you can sleep wherever you want as long as it's on your floor. 



Landmarks ideas 


Lover's Lake- Lake in the shape of a heart

Mighty Oak/The Great Oak tree- Place to hunt prey especially birds and to practice climbing. 

Grassland area 

Village/Town a mile or so away from the clan. 

Cliffs/Waterall area 

Rocky or sandy area with a large stone in the center. Acts as a place to train 



Clan Rules (Meant to be broken)

The word of the King and Queen is law and to disobey them is considered treason.

The royals must be addressed as Your Grace, Your Majesty,  or My Liege unless given permission to call them by their actual names

No one is allowed to kill in cold blood.  Only the king and queen have the right to execute someone. 

Kits can become Squires,  toxophilites and students when they reach six or seven moons. 

Royal guards are to protect the king, queen and their families above all else. 

Those who disobey the laws will either be forced to preform squire/student/ toxophilite duties, be confined to the castle, exiled or even killed. 

Those it is frowned upon, cats may have relations to those outside of the castle. However, royals and royal guards can not. 

In the event that there is no heir, the Right Paw is next in line for the throne.

Customs and traditions 

A quest/test before a young cat can become a knight or hunter, they must complete a quest. For a  toxophilite this might be hunting a certain type of prey.  They must bring this prey to their mentor  or present it to the king or queen.  For a squire, they must either lead a patrol, fight any cat of their choosing the exception being a royal and just show their worth in battle. 

Students will have to pass a test given to them by the high priest or their mentor and prove their knowledge of herbs and illnesses.  Could also be going out and searching for certain herbs. idk 


Arranged Marriages/mates  While a little old fashioned some cats still do this. Two families will pair their kits up so that they can be future mates to strengthened the family.  The royals still do this but most young cats find their own mates despite what their families will say. 


Something for a full moon or a new moons. 




I had a bunch of ideas during work and really wanted to get them down.  Another fun idea I had is the clan collects/wear things like flower crowns,  necklaces, use berries for marking, feathers for beds and you can present pretty items to the royals to gain favor ect.

Clan is halfway to being done. Some things took a lot longer than I intended but by the end of the day it should be open. Worst case I can fill in certain things as the rp progresses but we shall see. Coming up with the clan rules will be interesting.
