Thunder and Shadow (or it could simply be talking about Thudner and Shadow clan, lame!) imply something dark. I'd like to see it, but maybe not yet. They haven't really pulled it off in a while

Yeah- and I personally like it. I'll choose a dark, Narnia-like war over two sisters fighting over boys and popularity any day. I have enough of that at school.

I feel like with this series, for the first time I'm on the edge of my seat. I actually fear for characters cause I actually don't know if they're going to live to the next book.

It's like having something actually life-impacting on the news. You watch it longer, you talk about it more, and you feel more connected to it.
