I am re-reading the books in order because why not and I want to know which books most people dislike.
I personally hated Sign of the Moon the most, it was a infuriatingly boring book for me and the plot dragged on. The back in time chapters were okay but were like a slap to the face and completely alienated from the story. I literally cheered when I finished the book.
Also The Raging Storm, just a really anti-climatic ending to AVoS

Outcast and Sign of the Moon. Although the former is worse for me due to being almost exclusively focused on the tribe mission which had no impact on the overall arc plot and barely any influence on the characters. The latter book at least had Ivypool's Dark Forest training chapters and Foxleap's interactions with Dovewing.

TPONS for me. So much fan service in that book, and OOC actions from popular characters

Sign of the Moon was so boring and pointless like it contributes nothing to the story.

Outcast, Forest of secrets, and the fourth apprentice are my top three of books that I always skip when re-reading the series.

Why do people hate Forest of Secrets? It is one of the best imo. So many important plot points get unraveled in it, it's like a bombshell.

I very much agree that it's one of the best books in this series. And most people in the fandom seem to have the same regard in terms of the plot really kicking off there (Silverstream's death and Tigerclaw getting exposed) as well as nostalgia. There's only like two people on this thread who hate this book and while I'm not in agreement with them, they probably have their reasons for not liking FoS.

I don't like it because I never liked tpb and tigerstar was to oviuse. Fireheart found it out to quickly to be exiting and spottedleafs Prophacys were anoying. And comparing it to other books it feels bland and uninspired.

Although remembering that this franchise started out as a series for children originally might help with understanding why aspects of it are made more obvious and get spelled out clearer than they need to be. I love TPB, FoS, how cliche and cartoonishly evil Tigerclaw/star was and the concept of Fireheart knowing Tigerclaw's true nature but being pretty much alone (except for Ravenpaw of course) in suspecting him of being a murderous traitor while everyone else respected and even admired him as an efficient deputy at the time.

But iv reasantly just felt really disappointed by that story. You want to know why it's actually funny. Survivors did it better. If you haven't read it go read it it's so good especially the second arc. It also has a tractor story but it's done so well.

If you haven't read it go read it it's so good especially the second arc. It also has a tractor story but it's done so well. I get that. And also do see the point of people saying that most fans tend to see TPB with rose colored glasses on due to feelings of nostalgia for the original story and characters. This was the arc most long term readers of this series started out with after all and it does tend to get away with a few things more than later arcs do in comparison. I actually read the first Survivors book not long after reading the first Seekers book years ago. But unfortunately never got into it as much as with the Warriors series. Which might have to do with my neverending cat obsession lol. I am thinking of giving Survivors another shot though. Maybe I will ask my mother to get me the first Survivors arc for christmas this year and then buy the second one if the story is enjoyable to read for me.
