As they stepped into the clearing of thr Moon Mushrooms Silverrose's eyes went wide. She was overwhelmed by the sight and power given off by the place. It reminded her of her old clan's own way of speaking to starclan. She stepped forward and looked at the medicine cats. "Do you two have anything you'd like to say?"

Icewhisper dipped her head at Elmstar's words, glad the he approved of her idea. At Ratwhisper's suggestion she nodded. "Sounds good to me. I'm sure they'd both be excited," she said. "And there's even enough room for all four of us at the Mushrooms so we and our apprentice won't have to take turns with speaking to Starclan." As they reached the clearing she glanced at Silverrose and smiled at her reaction. "Quite the sight, isn't it?" she purred. "Don't let it intimidate you though. Once it's time and you're ready stand in the center of the mushroom ring." She looked past Silverrose at the Moon Mushrooms and then turned her attention back at the she-cat again. "I honestly don't know which cats will come to officially make you Roseclan's leader. Maybe some of your ancestors have found their way here? It's not a coincidence that you and so many other cats from all these different clans have found us, after all. And if they haven't found this place yet you might meet those from our clan." There was still some time left but it would be better to bring up those options now instead of just letting Silverrose grow nervous over it. "You'll have nothing to fear from either possibility though." Icewhisper then looked over at Ratwhisper. "Anything you want to say? Or would like to know?"

As they step into the clearing, Ratwhisper feels a tingle go all through his body. This place felt almost sacred and he felt unworthy of looking at such a sight. He snaps out of his thoughts when Icewhisper speaks to him. What could he say right now? “Just eager to speak to Starclan.” He didn’t know who he would be seeing and that made him a little nervous.

Silverrose signed with a bit of relief. "I definitely hope some of all my cats ancestors will be there. I might not be able to say what happens during the ceremony but I'd hope I'm allowed to reassure them Starclan has followed us all." She said. She sat down near Elmstar and looked at the medicine cats.

Elmstar turned so he could see the others. "I think being able to reassure them that they have their loved ones still would be reasonable. But definitely don't give away any secrets. It's supposed to stay a mystery. How do you think she could go about it, Icewhisper?"

Icewhisper nodded at that. "Yes, as long as you don't talk about the ceremony itself it should be fine," she then said to Silverrose. "Leader's can't speak about what happens when they get their lives and what the cats who gave them those lives said to them, unless they specifically tell you otherwise. But you can still tell your clan that your ancestors are still with you or that Thymeclan's are watching over you now."
As for Elmstar's question on how Silverrose should go about this, she thought about it for a moment. "Are you going to make an announcement to the clan when you two get back? You need to name a deputy, after all. That would be the easiest way. You can tell them that Starclan has accepted them as a clan and you as a leader. You can't go into detail of course but when you announce it tell them that you can confirm that all your ancestors are still with you to watch over their old clanmates. Maybe some will ask you about more details but unless Starclan has told you to pass along a message to their loved ones you can't tell them." As she spoke she slowly turned her gaze to Silverrose and watched her thoughtfully before she continued.
"Be firm about it but also understanding and kind. They must understand that you can't tell them more while also having reassurance that you are absolutely certain about your and everyone else's old clanmates having found their way here. Ratwhisper can back you up if necessary." She gave a sympathetic smile. "I suppose this will be your first task as Roseclans Starclan-approved leader. But I'm sure you can handle it well. While I just told you about the possibility of your clanmates needing more reassurance before they believe that their loved ones are still watching over them it's just as likely that they will take your word for it immediately. You've spoken in front of your clan before so I'm sure I don't have to tell you this but: no matter what, be confident and be yourself." |

Silverrose nodded. "I feel like I could just say our ancestors have followed us. They have accepted us as a clan and me as your leader now may they accept my choice of deputy." She said. She looked at her medicine cat and then the Thymeclan cats for approval.

"Thank you, Icewhisper, for the insight. That sounds like a good way to put it, Silverrose." He stepped toward the stump in the middle of the mushrooms. It was large enough to accommodate all four of them. "Let us begin. Just lay in the middle of the mushrooms and close your eyes. Soon Starclan will meet with you. Do not fear their power for they are benevolent." He gave a nod to the others and stepped up and off to one side.

(Sorry I'm trying to get back on here. Let's go ahead and start. Yall figure out what order to got in. I think Thymestar should probably go first and then others can start to appear but idk exactly how yall want to do it.)
Silverrose smiled tensely and took a step toward the Moon Mushrooms. She took a deep breath and crossed the boundary and settled down next to Elmstar. She waited for Icewhisper and Ratwhisper to climb up before shutting her eyes and waiting for something to happen.

Elmstar waits for the others to close their eyes and then closes his own. Before he does he smiles calmly at Silverrose realizing how much better she seemed to be taking it than he did when Thymestar passed away.
(I was gonna wait for Pine before we started the Ceremony. I was thinking Elmstar and maybe Meadowberry so she knows someone from her clan is there then whoever and Jayrose last?)

Icewhisper settled down next to the others once everyone had stepped into the circle and closed her eyes. Hopefully Starclan would really accept Silverrose and her clan. But since there had been no signs that Starclan was displeased with Elmstar's decision to help all those cats she was pretty confident that it would go over well.
(Sounds good! Thymestar being the first, followed by Meadowberry. I think I'll send Sablefur then, unless another cat should come before her. Lynxpaw will go before or after Scorchclaw. And Ospreycry should be one of the last cats I think)

Silverrose quickly glances at the other cats starting to get nervous about her first meeting with Starclan. She caught Elmstar's smile and smiled back. Then she laid down and closed her eyes. She quickly fell into a relaxed state waiting for what was to happen.
She gasped quietly as the scene behind her eyes changed from the black behind her eyelids to a beautiful clearing much like the one she had been in before she closed her eyes. But here there was no stump just open ground. She glanced around and took a deep breath as no one seemed to be around. She sat to wait for the first of the Starclan cats.

Elmstar closed his eyes as he saw Silverrose slide into a relaxed state. He wondered if the Starclan Cats would visit the others. He wasn't sure as you weren't supposed to talk about what happened.
From the edge of the clearing where Silverrose had found herself a gray tom appeared. He looked proud and stood straight unlike his posture in life. He green eyes shone with curiosity as he approached the she-cat standing there. "Hello there. You must be Silverrose. I am Thymestar. I was the founder of Thymeclan back when I was still young and spry like you." He chuckled and sat down a tail-length from her. "Before we can begin giving you new lives your old one must leave you." He stepped forward and just before touching her nose he blinked knowing that this would hurt her. "There will be pain. But you will make it through it." With that he pressed his nose to hers.
(Can the other cats see this? I don't think they usually do in the books)

(If I remember correctly, usually only the leader receiving their nine lives sees this but there are exceptions. When Leafstar became leader of the newly rebuild SkyClan Firestar and Echosong got to see the ceremony as well. So maybe Elmstar, Icewhisper and Ratwhisper could be present for this as well since Thymeclan helped the newly made Roseclan find a territory and Ratwhisper is Roseclan's first medicine cat?)

A look of fear flashed in Silverrose's eyes before she stepped forward to touch Thymestar's nose. Pain shot through her and she grimaced and fell to the ground. She gritted her teeth and pushed herself back up and panted heavily. She made eye contact with Thymestar and nodded.

Thymestar stood back as Silverrose fell and then got back to her feet. "Now with your old life gone you will receive 9 lives. You will renounce your old name and will from now on be called Silverstar in the tradition of the clans." He paused to let her process the information. "With this the first life I give you the strength to act without fear of judgement or rejection." He touched his nose to hers once again then steppes back. "I was the first leader of Thymeclan. Though I only came to Starclan a couple moons ago I have much wisdom and things I have learned in hindsight. One thing is that you must act without fear that someone may judge you for your decision. Use this life for that." He then turned and motioned for someone to step forward. As he motioned a few starry-pelted cats started to appear. More and more started to appear as he turned back to Silverstar and dipped his head.

Silverrose looked up as Thymestar started to talk again. "I accept my new name and the duty you have graced me with." She said this not knowing whether she was supposed to talk. She braced herself for more pain as Thymestar came up to her again to give her the first life. She stifled a cry and thought to herself "I am Silverstar fearless leader of Roseclan." She looked up and smiled at Thymestar as he started telling her his story. Her eyes once again went wide when he motioned for more cats to come forward. She had yet to recognize any though.

And Jayrose go last. Pineclaw Hawkeyes258 ) As Thymestar stepped back a short dark brown tabby stepped forward. "Hello. I am Meadowberry I was the medicine cat who trained the one you knew in Phoenixclan. I am here both to show you that your own ancestors have followed you as well as to give you your second life." She stepped forward some more and her green eyes glared as though a light was shone in them. "Your second life is that of Faith. Faith that all will work out no matter how hard it gets and to get you through where feet may fail you in the darkness." She leaned forward and touched Silverstar's nose. "You have shown us already that you have the ability to use this gift with your faith that you would find a new home for your family and others who you are willing to lead." With that Meadowberry turned and rejoined the now ranks of Starclan Cats. Elmstar realized after a second that he could hear the ceremony going on and that he could see a familiar albeit starry figure in front of Silverstar. He glanced at Icewhisper to see if she could see him too. He looked back at Thymestar in the ranks of cats. Then he realized that Thymestar gave him a nod of approval. The old leader looked like a proud father. Elmstar stood taller and smiled a single tear falling down his face. |

Silverstar smiled and dipped her head as Meadowberry introduced herself. "I'm glad our ancestors have followed Roseclan." She said. This time Silverstar stepped forward to meet her new life ans Meadowberry reached out her nose to press to hers. She must have thought this would make it hurt less but pain tore through Sliverstar unlike the ones before it. "Thank you." She said dipping her head again ad the she-cat went back to the ranks of cats around her.

(Well, I suggested to have Sablefur go third so I guess I'll do that. Not sure about who comes next, only that Lynxpaw should come right before or right after Scorchclaw. And Ospreycry can be the eight cat to give Silverstar a life.)
Icewhisper watched the ceremony with a smile, relieved that Thymestar approved of Elmstar's decision and even gave Silverstar her first life. She dipped her head to Thymeclans former leader but kept a respectful distance and stayed silent as to not interfere with this. Her smile grew wider when more cats showed up, cats she didn't know. The ancestors of the other clans had really found their way here.
Sablefur waited for Meadowberry to rejoin them before stepping forward herself. "Greetings, Silverstar," she meowed. "I am Sablefur, a warrior of Ridgeclan. I'm glad to see that my apprentice and some of my fellow warriors have found these woods and got to join your new clan." Then she leaned forward, having to stretch a little as Silverstar was slightly taller than her. "With this life I give you Hope. Use it to lead your clan through whatever hardships you may face and share it with those who feel lost to give them strength. Sometimes hope is the only thing that can keep one going so never underestimate it." She gave a sympathetic smile as she gifted Silverstar her third life, knowing that while it wouldn't be unbearable it still wouldn't be a pleasant feeling receiving it. Finally she stepped back and went to rejoin Starclan's ranks. On her way though she looked back over her shoulder and said "You have done well so far and I trust you to lead my clanmates and all those other cats well" before finally taking her place beside the others who were here for this.

Silverstar watched as Sablefur approached. She dipped her head to the Starclan cat as she introduced herself as a Ridgeclan cat. She thought about how that was Brightpaw and Moleshade's old clan among other cats. She knew how strong hope could be. That and faith had gotten her and her family as well as her other new clanmates to thus forest and the saftey it held. "Thank you" She called as Sablefur walked away. She was startled when she turned back and called out the next phrase. "I'll defend them all with my lives." She cried fiercely.

Ratwhipser silently watches on feeling a sense of reverence as each Starclan cat steps forward to grant Silverstar a life. This made everything feel so real. Only cat he recognized was Flowerdapple which he wasn't sure whether to feel happy or upset. She had always been a kind cat to him and his brother.
Flowerdapple takes a step forward once Sablefur was done. "My name is Flowerdapple, warrior and former queen of Mothclan. With this life I give you a mother's love. May you use this to protect your clan with the same intensity as a mother." She leans forward and touches her nose against Silverstar. Afterwards, she pulls back and walks back to her place. Along the way, she pauses to give Ratwhisper a nod then joins back with the others.

(So who do we want to send next? We still have Scorchclaw, Lynxpaw and Oaktalon. And of course Ospreycry and Jayrose but we've already said that they should be the last two. So we only need the order of Scorch, Lynx and Oak.
Oh, and I've already prepared my reply with Ospreycry. It turned out a bit longer xD Anyway, he won't rejoin the others immediately but wait for a reply from Silverstar. Just letting you know in advance, not that Jayrose comes over while they're still talking xD It won't take too long though, I'll only do two posts with Ospreycry ^^ Any other interactions that will be more then just giving Silverrose a life?)

Silverstar watched as the next cat approached. She dipped her head as Flowerdapple introduced herself. She smiled and prepared for this life to hurt the most. Knowing the fierceness of a mother's love. It was her one regret and the sorest spot she hadn't told anyone about yet. She had secretly found a mate in Phoenixclan and they had planned to have kits one day. He was one of the first ones stolen by the Twolegs. She sat with the pain of the life for a second and mourned her imaginary kits knowing the clan would now be her kits. "Thank you" She said hoping it followed the Starclan queen back to her seat.
