Brambleclaw/star: He killed his half-brother to keep his family (not Clan) safe.
Star Flower: She betrayed Thunder and went for his father. If Clear Sky and Thunder lived together in a house, this would have caused tensions between her and Thunder.
Hollyleaf: She ruined her family's reputation and brothers', and murdered a family member (Ashfur) and tried to kill her own mother She left and became homeless, surviving on the dumpsters or with whatever money she has left to get food. The police then find her and takes her to jail.
Tigerstar: An abusive father who is very controlling. He raises his sons to murder their own family.
Ashfur: I can see him doing something.. even worse than death to Squirrelflight, which I will not tell.
If Warriors were humans... this series would be much, much darker.

Ravenpaw found Clan-life too hard and his friends led him to live on a barn... with Barley...alone.
As a human this would translate to Ravenpaw leaving the military and his friends getting him to join farmers only dot com.

If the characters were human, Warriors would be a concrete YA series, rather than being (in my opinion) between YA and middle grade.
I can envision all of those things happening. Poor Squirrelflight...

No thanks, I'm not a fan of humanized AUs.
