Wolfstar makes Shimmerbloom’s kits apprentice (we just gonna forget that we accidentally left them out for a few posts on that note apparently there were two posts about her kits being born? I made both of them apprentices). Some of the clan gets mad the Shellwhisker and Blizzardwind were only made Warriors very recently. Creekpaw gets jealous over Heroinkit as she wanted to become a medicne cat and he didn’t. Minkgaze and Rowangrass temporally leave the clan for Vallyclan, Plumbark promises to let them back in once he becomes leader. During the night Thriftpaw and Ebonypaw go missing as well. They find Shadowpaw and it turned out he took the kits to Fireclan to keep them safe from Wolfstar, he then left for the twoleg place. (I’m gonna keep them on here as missing since the clan doesn’t know they left but feel free to take them off)

Crookedclaw, unable to stand Wolfstar, tells him she thinks she saw one of the missing apprentices, Thriftpaw, near a place that she knew (but intentionally didn't tell Wolfstar) was a fox's den that gave birth this time of year there. Wolfstar, already angry that nothing was going his way, went to the den on his own. He was attacked by the two adult foxes, and looses a life.

Fishtide was found acting suspicious the days leading uo to Snowleaf's death and when he was confronted, he had no solid alibi. Russetstar puts the blame on his mate's murder on him and exiles him. Heronpaw's siblings accuse him of abandoning the clan when he returns to camp and Ferretpaw refuses to speak to him for some time. Guilt-ridden, he stops his regular visits to the twolegplace and throws himself into training, improving his skills but affecting his happiness. During this time, Crookedclaw dies, her injuries too grave for the medicine cats to save her.

After a long time of being missing, Shadowpaw returns to the clan looking very worse for wear. He says that he had left the clan because of Wolfstar and his former mentor Fishtide and wanted to be sure that they didn't have any power before he came back. Despite being old enough to be a warrior, Russetstar considers his abandonment of the clan and does not award him with a naming ceremony. Instead, he personally trains him for the time being to see how much of his skills stayed sharp when he was away.
