Maybe while boa patrol is happening we can do something between Red and his potential followers, have him going around searching for cats who would support him, and Silver can be one of those cats he speaks to! Gecko too since I need them to interact as well c;<

Btw i think Jagged will totally try to have a paw in both worlds; he will try to get on the good side of Red just to shape his anger into a tool, and he will try to get close to Coconut at the same time. If Red ever asks him why he is seen with Coconut sometimes, he'll just say he is "spying". Yea he is plain evil 💀

I totally feel that. Most of the roleplays I join inevitably die before I can fully explore my characters and their different arcs so I just reuse the same ones over and over aslkjfdsl

Like she'd fully agree with Red that the Clan needs a change in leadership and will happily lend her experience to his cause. She'd rather die on her feet trying to make a difference than lying around in the elders' den
Red will also have Jacaranda's full support until she figures out that he's gonna commit war crimes
Morally grey healer who doesn't really care about the outcome so long as it benefits them in the end? But then once they choose a side they start becoming attached to one of the other conspirators and oh no now they have to confront their morals because they actually do care about whether or not this cat gets hurt because of their machinations?? Am I making this up as I type?? Yes absolutely someone stop me

i love silvertide so much, what a queen
red will gladly take her in as one of his supporters, he's got a gang of elders and he ain't afraid to use them
but i do think it'll be interesting to see how many continue to support him once it's revealed to the others that he plans on going after Tiger alongside Coconut. It seems like Jacaranda and Gecko are gonna nope right on out once that happens, so it'll be fun to see how that little divide there plays out between them all

Red's got a bunch of tired, fed-up old people in his court and I love that for him
Old people who see themselves in this brazen, hot-headed youth and while they can't do much any more they can still support him from a distance and hope he'll make the Clan a better place when they've moved on
Ooh yes! That will be very interesting to see. Because they haven't suffered from enough family drama as it is, obviously xD
Curse you for encouraging my bad habits but ALSO does Red need a love interest who helps him overthrow Coconut & Tiger? Angsty mutual-pining boyfriends who are also revolutionaries?? 👀

gotta get in as much trauma as possible xD
honestly though, red's probably gonna be pretty upset about some of his gang not following it through all the way with him, especially with Jacaranda. I don't think he'd do anything extreme about her going against him by the end, but who knows what'll happen by then with his development

I left my cats open to relations cuz there's some politicking goin on and I don't know all the details as well as yall do, so if there's any place to slot them in to make character arcs more interesting lmk
For now, I was intending Pearl as a gal who would keep out of it as much as she could, but would side with coconut if pushed since she doesn't want to rock the boat so to speak.
I made Ivory to play both sides; he'd agree with Red when it comes to Tigerpaw not being legitimate, but wouldn't actively try and go against coconut either. Like he wouldn't respect him, but he respects what he stands for if that makes sense, and probably dismisses Redwave as too hot-headed to be neophyte either

I don't have anything in particular planned with Hawk at the moment. I have just been looking for a place to put him so far. either Pearl or Ivory would work though! I was thinking Hawk would take a stroll to the Soft Sands to admire the ocean while it stormed. However, I am not sure just how bad the storm is as of now.

I'm really open to a lot of things for her! I'd love for her to find some way to gain confidence in herself and feel empowered to make her own goals and choices, since she's currently too afraid to want things for herself </3 She's pan so anyone works, but it probably will end up friends -> feelings with her since I don't know if she'd have enough self-worth to realize someone had a crush on her lmao and she'd def be too shy to speak up

I can offer you a Sunchaser - tall, buff jock who is very outgoing, loyal, and protective, but feels like she’s not good for anything other than fighting. Fea and I have already established that Sunchaser adopts introverts as friends (she’s besties with Shellsong) and she’s not much older than Pearl so? Tomboy x soft girl friendship arc??
The only hang up is she would probably be somewhat oblivious to another cat’s feelings for her for similar self-worth related reasons, if you wanted to go the friends-to-lovers path. But if none of that fits what you have in mind, that’s fine too!

And yea I'm not amazingly attached to either of these characters yet? I'm down to develop them in whatever way causes the most drama~ Pearl's character seed is just my magnified insecurities (which I have been FEELING lately cuz I have to make Adult Choices and I don't Want to).
Ivory's just selfish tough guy who cares about traditions cuz every group needs a handful of those types.
I think Sunchaser and Pearlcloud would be super good for each other tho and Pearl would def fall under the introvert umbrella.

I got the impression that Croc is kinda snarky and taciturn, as is Wave, which is why I initially thought it would be funny if they were brothers. I like the idea of them having this understated but rock solid bond. Two bros who “hate” the world but are deeply loyal to each other and their loved ones vibes, unless I’m totally misreading your characterization of Croc ^^’
They can even bond over falling for their silly, more outgoing counterparts (Parrotcall and Featherfoot, respectively).

I’m glad you think so! I think they will balance each other nicely. There’s some definite cuteness potential there.
They’re close enough in age that they probably grew up together so if you wanna flesh out more of their background go right ahead c:
The only thing I will warn you of is that Parrotcall and Sunchaser are very close siblings so there’s a good chance he has some sort of relationship to Pearlcloud as well.
Also displacing my own insecurities and struggles onto my OCs is a major mood

there is tons of cuteness <3 Even from just this, Sunchaser reminds me a lot of one of my old OCs <33 The "I don't think I'm good at anything so I'll learn to punch things harder" vibe is the best, esp when they are also wlw
And I think I'll just see where it flows~ Let them cross paths a few times and see what happens.
It'll be good for Pearl to have forced interactions!! She wouldn't avoid them, but she probably wouldn't seek out cats she didn't know very well; having a few others to lean on or be comfortable around will be super good for her.

yeah yeah! croc is abrasive and grumpy, but he's pretty dang loyal to the clan, especially family. he cares a lot about wave, probably shows affection in some odd ways, but Wave's his brother and dang it he's gonna be there for him
these two just chilling one day and they just realize they ended up with two goofballs and don't know how it happened, but it did

Both she and Jacarandabloom are the “punch your feelings out” type despite having very different personalities/approaches to problems. I deliberately designed them to be two sides of the same coin (one cheerful and punchy, one angry and punchy) with the main difference being one has had healthy, supportive family/friends and the other… decidedly not lol but let me get back on topic here.
That makes sense to me! Sun and Parrot are all about forced interactions (though they’re never disrespectful) in the sense that they enjoy dragging others into their shenanigans. They will be your best friend whether you like it or not. Even if Pearlcloud doesn’t seek out Sunchaser they’re bound to cross paths at some point and whatever will be will be ~
