"When you put more of your power into an attack to make it stronger, that's also releasing it. You can see it too, if you can see spirits," Aoi said, still focusing her aim on the menos. White light started swirling around her, outlined by light blue, and the arrow's growth rate increased. "Can you see it?"
I have to go, be back in a few hours hopefully!]]

Eiji looked surprised. "Weird," He muttered, except he was pretty sure he had done something similar before. He didn't know enough to be certain though. He finished his drawing, which had taken longer because he needed to draw more. Making three cannons appear, he fired more energy blasts at the menos.

Aoi let the arrow loose after Eiji's cannons fired, and showed a satisfied smirk when it seemed the menos had felt each of the impacts. It let out a long moan and swiped a hand down at the two, faster than Aoi expected. She jumped back in time, feeling a gust of air from the hand. Her shoes scraped against the ground as she skidded to a halt. "Looks like we're doing something to it."

With a flash of green light at his feet, Eiji shot out of the way of the hollow's attack. Landing on the ground again, he looked up at the hollow. "Yeah, we're making it angry," He replied.

Aoi rolled her eyes, so much for trying to be positive...it did look pretty upset though. "But we are leading it away, that's something," she grunted, releasing a few more arrows. They were steadily getting closer to a fairly open park with a field. "That place looks good."

"Good for what?" Eiji asked in reply. "Fighting til we die? Because that's what's going to happen." He had abandoned yet another weapon as they moved. He couldn't drag them with him, and if he had smaller weapons they would make a mark on the hollow.

"I was thinking more along the lines of good for not destroying city blocks," Aoi replied. When they got closer, the menos still lumbering after them, she went for the closet streetlight and climbed her way up to stand on top. Coincidentally, there didn't seem to be anyone else at the park, so she felt a bit more free to let loose.

Eiji shook his head, bringing another drawing to life. This one was a giant, circular saw, and he sent it spinning towards the menos' head. It missed, only nicking the giant's shoulder.

"Mind if I ask a question?" Aoi shot another large arrow, and looked at Eiji. The menos roared again, feeling at the new rip on its shoulder. "Did you see a thin silver piece of metal around school? Looks a bit like a thin sword hilt?" she asked. Now that she knew he could see spirits and had powers, she didn't have to worry about hiding what she had.

"That thing you had on the roof?" Eiji replied. He had completely forgot about it. "My brother found it. I think he still has it." If he had remembered, he would have taken it and gave it back to Aoi. Oh well. Eiji gritted his teeth, erasing his next drawing. It really wasn't looking like it was supposed to.

"I knew I should have asked earlier," Aoi sighed. It would have helped to have it now, but she would make do with what she had, until her impatience got the better of her. "This thing is starting to get on my nerves." She let out yet another sigh and stretched her fingers, the areas that touched the bowstring were starting to redden.
The menos stood in the middle of the park, twisting its head around to observe the new surroundings before opening its mouth. The red glow of another cero attack started growing in front of the mask.

I love Bleach! But I haven't completed the Anime. I actually don't even really remember where I was. I was wondering if I could still join though? I think it would be fun. I understand if my lesser knowledge could be a drawback though.))

Eiji shook his hand. It was starting to go numb from him drawing so much. He was starting to run out of ideas too. Looking up at the hollow, Eiji's eyes widened. He cursed under his breath. Yet another attack was coming, and he definitely didn't have the ability to draw another reflector, or even a shield, in time. "Get back!" He yelled.

SN: Rainspirit22 Character Name: Yasashi Hikari Age: N/A Gender: Female Race: Shinigami Rank: Fourth Division Captain Looks: Hikari is average sized, standing at around 5’9. Her hair is pure white, falling to the back of her knees in slight waves. She keeps it up in two ponytails on each side of her head. There’s still enough hair to cover her ears and frame her face though. Her eyes are a bright purple, that seem to shine no matter the lighting situation. She’s a bit pale, but her skin is actually quite soft. Her build is slimmer, built for agility. She’s also quite flexible. She’s meant to dodge around in combat more than deal out the hits. She wears her captain’s haori over a typical Shihakusho. Her haori has longer sleeves, reaching to her wrists with wide cuffs. She wears a silver infinity scarf around her neck, and her sash is replaced with a silver one instead. Her hair is also tied with silver bows. Personality: Hikari is a quieter person, and can some off as shy to those who don’t know her. It probably doesn’t help that she wears her scarf in a way that usually hides half her face. Even when she’s speaking she’s quiet. Half the time people have to struggle to hear what she says, and her scarf muffling her words is hardly beneficial. In stressful situations, or combat situations if they aren’t one and the same, she tends to lower her scarf and raise her voice. It’s still quiet, but it’s almost shouting for her. She doesn’t usually get mad, but when she does it’s best to not be the target. She’s terrifying. Hurting those she cares about is an easy way to get a horrifying Hikari baring down on someone. Those her make her angry always regret it. If they survive that is. Combat Abilities: Hikari’s Zanpakuto is named Yugure no Okami (Wolf of the Dusk), and it is called by the command “Mamorimasu, Yugure no Okami! (Protect, Wolf of the Dusk!)” In shikai form, her katana turns into an oval shaped, silver shield strapped to her right forearm. A blade can extend out from under the shield and over her hand, with the blade being about as long as her forearm. Silver light can expand from the shield to create a larger, circular shield about as tall as she is. She can also coat the blade in the light, then swing to launch a crescent of the light at a target. The bankai form is called Megami no Okami (Wolf of the Goddess), and her weapon changes into that of an enormous, silver shield that’s nearly twice her size and shaped like a wolf’s head. The point on bottom is the snout, while the two points on top are the ears. Hikari also grows white furred wolf ears on her head, as well as a tail. Her strength is increased to help her handle her larger shield, as is her agility. Her Bankai is mainly defensive, with very few offensive tactics. Silver light can expand from the shield to from an enormous barrier that can take most attacks. The light can also gather at the pointed bottom, extending the point by quite a bit to form a blade that can be used for offense. History (optional): Other: Hikari is a lover of music. Whether it’s just listening to it, or creating it herself. She even has a koto in her quarters for when she wants to play. It isn’t often however. She only really does it when she needs to relax, or doesn’t have a lot of work to do.

Mizuki stepped out of the captain-commander's quarters after delivering the most recent reports from her squad and set off walking back to the squad 3 barracks. Her eyes wandered in the direction of the science division's area, having seen smoke rising up from that direction earlier. She let out a sigh of relief when she saw it had all cleared.

Yet another attack was coming, and he definitely didn't have the ability to draw another reflector, or even a shield, in time. "Get back!" He yelled. Aoi slid down the streetlight and took off running in the opposite direction from the hollow, hoping that she was running fast enough. "Maybe if we keep aiming for the mask it will eventually wear down!" she called over to Eiji, but at the same time she wondered how much longer her fingers were going to last.

Sounds fun. Not. I hope it isn't too hard though.))
Hikari was walking through the Seireitei, having just left the Division Four barracks to take a much needed walk. Even when she wasn't busy, she was busy. Who knew there could be so much paperwork for things that didn't seem to matter at the time? Most of it was supplies, some of it was old reports that never got finished or put in the right place. She just needed to get out and get a breath of fresh air. She sighed softly, turning a corner and nearly running into Mizuki. She came to a quick stop, a smile forming on her face behind her scarf. "Hello Mizuki..." she said in her soft voice. "How are you today?"

"Will that even work?!" Eiji called in reply. So far, it was only wearing him down. At the last second before the menos fired, there was a flash of green at Eiji's feet and he shot quickly, grabbing Aoi and pushing into the air, the energy blast narrowly missing them. Eiji landed on the ground, still near the hollow, letting go of Aoi.

Eh, it shouldn't be too hard...]]
"Ah Hikari, hello. I am doing well, save for the mountain of paperwork still left on my desk," Mizuki said with a chuckle. "My lieutenant was helping with it while I was in the Living World, but there is still so much left. How about yourself? I have not been able to speak with you in a while," she asked, tucking her hands into her long sleeves.
~~~
"Well it's the only thing I can think of, and it works with all the other hollows!" Aoi said as she stumbled away from Eiji once they were on the ground again. Giving the menos another hard look she perked up and clapped her hands together. "The hole! The hole in the chest is also a weak spot!"
Hikari giggled softly. "I'm in the same boat I'm afraid...Who knew there would be so much paperwork in a time where I'm having next to no patients in my barracks..." She then blinked and tilted her head. "Living World? What were you doing there?" Normally captains weren't the ones going to the world of the living. There were plenty of other options. A captain going always ended up being important for some reason. Was something going on that she hadn't been told about? It wouldn't be the first time. It wasn't like every problem needed to be shared with all the captains. She could just use some excitement in her life, even if excitement didn't always mean the best thing over all.
That was new to him. "wait, really?" Eiji said. "How?" He started to sketch some more, mainly to distract the hollow, hoping that it didn't attack again.
