Hollows Fear the Name ~ A Bleach RP ~ Open!

"OK... What just happened?" Corynn mutters managing to finally find the words to speak.

Gamergirl:

"It's a bit hard to explain..." Aoi grunted, taking aim once more. She held the sword of reishi to her bow and aimed for the mask, but just as she was about to let it fly the hollow let out a screech that knocked her to the ground. She fell to her knees, reaching her hands up to cover her ears. "Corynn... run!" she called, just as the hollow shot past her.

Silver:

Mitsuo's face went red at Ayashi's comment about Nikita's looks. "That's... never mind," he muttered, shaking his head. "But, thanks again, I'm glad to hear she's doing better," he added quietly, still feeling a bit groggy from his extended nap. He rested his head against the back of his chair and closed his eyes, but then jolted forward as he almost fell asleep again. He shook his head again, this time to try and wake himself up and rested his eyes on the broken pair of glasses atop his desk. He wanted to stay awake until Ayashi was done with his treatment and needed something to keep him up. Then, a 'brilliant' idea shone out in the middle of the fog in his head and he remembered a bag of chips he had stashed away a few days ago. Mitsuo pulled open a drawer and took the bag out, popping several into his mouth.

Mizuki let out a sigh before turning to face Kousei. She leaned back against the desk and crossed her arms. "Physically, I admit I feel a bit worn out. It's funny, I feel like I used muscles that haven't been used in quite some time even despite training most days... I suppose no amount of training can make up for actual battle," she said. "I am sure I will feel a good amount of soreness come the morning."

The hollow had stopped just in front of Corynn. It flexed its long reptilian fingers a few times before snapping its arms forward to grab Corynn, sending a glance back at Aoi as it did so.

Aoi cursed under her breath again and forced herself to her feet. Her ears were still ringing from the hollow's screech but she gritted her teeth and pushed on. The hollow was now close enough to her that the bow wouldn't have an advantage in combat, so she sealed it back into the star charm and instead took to wielding Seele Schneider. "You put her down!" she growled at the monster.

Ayashi continued for a few hours longer before he finally finished and stretched out his arms above his head. He gave a wide yawn and then rose to his feet, stretching out his back a moment before turning to Mitsuo, "She'll be sore when she wakes up, don't let her do too much activity. Her arm is mostly healed as are her ribs but she'll still be in a bit of pain." With that, the healer waved lightly to the captain and took his leave. Nikita rested more peacefully now, almost looking to just be asleep and taking a nap, though the blood stained clothes she was in pushed that idea out the door quickly. After another hour or so after Ayashi had left, her eyes finally flicked open and she took in a soft breath.


Kousei chuckled lightly and nodded, "I'd have to agree with you." He replied lightly as he went over which parts of his body had gotten battered the most. Then he turned back to Mizuki and tipped his head lightly to the side, "When is the last time we've had something like that happen? Nothing major such as that scale of an attack has hit us in quite some time." He now sounded a bit worried at the thought of why those Arrancar had decided to be so suddenly up front with their presence and attack the shinigami and he world of the living so head-on.

Cory:

Aoi clicked her tongue and rushed the hollow despite not being used to closed combat. Its long tail whipped between the two of them and slammed into her torso, sending her into the parking lot. She scraped against the asphalt and lay still for a long moment before forcing herself to her feet. It's just too fast... She stood holding her stomach for quite some time and only pulled out her bow again after the aching subsided. "Well, thanks for putting me at a good range," she muttered, aiming at the head of the hollow. She let the arrow fly and it stuck right in the middle of the mask. The hollow let out a yell before fading into nothing, leaving Corynn and the hilt of Seele Schneider to fall to the ground.

Silver:

Mitsuo nodded and gave Ayashi a nod as he left. He sat quietly at his desk for a while, the only sound in the room coming from the crunch of his chips. He would glance at the unfinished paperwork on his desk, but his eyes kept straying back to Nikita as she lay on the couch. He almost didn't believe his eyes when he saw hers flutter open, and when she took a breath he sat up from his chair so fast he knocked it over backwards. "Nikita! You're... you're awake!" he gasped, rushing over and practically tripping over himself. He leaned over the back of the couch, grinning down at her. His glasses started slipping off his face but he caught them right as they started to fall. He rushed around to the front of the couch and knelt on the floor in front of her. "How are you feeling? Do you need anything? Water? Food?" The concern was evident in his eyes, but he tried to look as cheerful as he could. The rest of him, however, was a different story. He had changed into a fresh uniform, but that was about it. His face was still dirty, and his hair looked like it had exploded.

"I can't think of anything since the fight against you-know-who so many years ago," Mizuki murmured. The tea kettle was bubbling behind her and she turned to pour the boiling water into two cups. After letting each sit for a moment, she turned around again to hand Kousei his cup of tea. "I just hope this doesn't escalate to an ordeal of that magnitude again," she murmured before gently blowing across the surface of the tea.

"Only you can believe all is lost but I know with time, nothing is lost."

  I Found my post thing from the old forms! it was in a doc with one of the layouts i had started for an idea... not sure if i want to actually use it... so what do you think?

Aoi nodded and clipped the necklace around her neck once more, tucking the pendant under her shirt. She briefly examined the various cuts and bruises on her arms and legs before dusting off her uniform. "That's fine, my house is actually down the street and around the corner from here," she suggested.

Gotta go, talk to you later!]]

(Hey, again! I need to be more active...)

Aoi nodded. She started making her way to the sidewalk once more but stopped halfway and turned back to Corynn. "You have the newspaper?" she asked, just making sure. She didn't want to have come all this way just to lose their one piece of evidence.

Ooh! What is it?]]
Also, I can stay on later tonight! No school tomorrow! ]]

"I'm sure it won't be too much," Aoi said before turning back around.

"Here's my house," Aoi said, stopping at the top of a small staircase. She took a key out and unlocked the door before stepping inside and taking her shoes off right after entering. Turning to face Corynn, she motioned for her to follow and stepped to the side so she could come in. "I think only my mom's home at the moment," she mumbled, taking note of which pairs of shoes were left at the entrance besides her own.

"I meant it literally when I said just down the street," Aoi said with a slight smile. "Come on in." Shuffling sounds came from the next room, growing louder until the hallway door was opened and a woman stepped into the corridor. She had long wavy brown hair that fell to her shoulders and dark green eyes, and almost looked like she could have been Aoi's older sister.
"Oh, mom, this is Corynn. SHe's a friend from school," Aoi said to the woman.
The woman flashed a friendly smile and bowed briefly to Corynn. "Welcome, Corynn," she said. She turned back to Aoi. "I'll be in the next room, if you two need anything."

"Right this way," Aoi said. She closed the front door behind Corynn and led her new friend up a narrow staircase. There was another hallway with three doors, two on one side and one on the other. "This one over here is my room," she said. She opened the solitary door to the right and walked in. She threw a couple pillows on either side of a low table in the middle of the floor and sat on one of them. "Have a seat."
