(totally... I'll have Corynn start somewhere close to the school just wandering around...)
Corynn looked up from the map in her hands before sighing she couldn't read maps but needed to find the library or the high school. She wanted to find the high school to get a part-time or full-time job there while she looked for information on who her real parents might be."I wish I had listened in my Japanese class more often." She mutters to herself before looking back down at her map.

Alrighty  ]] Aoi looked out the window of the classroom and finally made up her mind. She was going to eat lunch outside today. She glanced at Eiji before heading outside, and then headed to her usual spot. It was out by the entrance of the school, under a tree by the front gate. Not many people hung out by the gate during lunch, which made the time she spent there nice and peaceful. She sat down with her back against the tree trunk and opened up her lunch, looking out at the street as she did so. |

Corynn looked back up from her map and actually looking around. She notices the building the looks like it might be a school. "Well let's hope it's a high school otherwise I'm completely lost and going to have to spend money on getting a taxi. And I can't really afford to do that." she mumbles to herself and starts walking towards the gate.
(And sorry for the small poof... i had to bring my puppy inside)

Aoi had just swallowed a mouthful of food when she looked up and noticed someone walking toward the school. Once they got closer she decided she didn't recognize the person's face, and she set her things to the side. She got to her feet and took a step closer, narrowing her eyes. "Can I... help you?" she asked, once the girl was within earshot.

Corynn stopped and looked around before noticing Aoi. "Oh! Hi, Um. Well is this the high school?" She asks nervously, her hands messing with the map.

Aoi crossed her arms, glancing down at the map. Is she not from here? "Yeah, this Karakura High School," she answered, brushing a strand of hair behind one ear. "Did you need something? Are you a transfer student or something?" she asked in return.

"Really! Cool... I mean- Um. Well, I was hoping to see if I could get a job here as a teacher's assistant or as an English teacher..." She mumbles mentally scolding herself for the way she had just acted. She looks back at Aio noticing that she is talking to a student and makes mental note that it's probably lunch time.

"Teacher's assistant?" Aoi repeated. She scratched her head and thought for a moment. "Well, I'm not really sure what the situation with that is, but I guess I can show you to the faculty office." She reached down and packed up what was left of her lunch and then tucked it under her arm before looking back to Corynn.

Corynn offered a smile before saying "No you can keep eating... It shouldn't be too hard for me to find my way through the school. I mean back in America it was like if you've been to one it feels like you've been to them all" She softly chuckles at the jab she made about the American schools even though she grew up there she never liked it.

Aoi sent a quick glance to the food containers under her arm and gently shook her head. "Oh, no, it's fine, I was basically done," she said with a shrug. It was true, Aoi was a quick eater, but leading this girl around gave her something to do for the rest of the break. She smoothed out her jacket and started making her way back to the main building. "So you're from America?" she asked.

Corynn blinked a few times before looking at the school "Well... Yes and no... I was born there and left there... I came here to look for my real parents though." She says... it was all she ever would really say about her time in America because she kept her past a secret.

She led Corynn into the school building and turned down the hall before turning yet again down another hallway, dodging the several students walking the other direction. Then she paused and turned to look at Corynn with an eyebrow raised. "Sorry to ask, but are you sure you're here for a job? You don't look much older than me," she commented.

"Yeah... Well I don't think they'd put me back in school... I did graduate high school at 17 though." Corynn says with a slight tone of doubt creating into her voice. She looked down really starting to worry about the age difference between America and Japan.

Aoi's eyes widened. "You've already graduated?" She pursed her lips, taking a moment to think. "Well, now that I think about it I suppose I'm not that far behind you... I'm turning 17 soon, and I'll be graduating next year," she said, then looking back to Corynn. She started walking again, happy she had cleared that confusion away, and stopped before a grey sliding door with a plate reading FACULTY OFFICE beside it. "Well, here we are."

She glanced at the watch on her wrist and saw that the lunch break was nearly over, and her classroom is up the stairs. "Well, I have to get back to class, good luck meeting with them," she said, bowing slightly before heading upstairs.

Corynn was sitting in the tree that she had met Aoi by just humming. It's one of the few things she remembers about her biological family. The tune and her first name that was always said in spit and hatred.

The bell to end class rang, and Aoi started packing her things. After everything was in her bag, she threw the strap over her shoulder and headed out of the classroom. She blinked in the sunlight as she walked out of the school building, and stopped for a moment to look around for Corynn. Soon she noticed the girl leaning against the tree from earlier, and made her way over.

Corynn blinked startled by the bell... It was different than the ones in America. She turns her head towards the school to watch the students coming out. She smiles slightly when she see Aoi and waves not sure if it is done here in Japan.

Aoi brushed past other students leaving campus, and stopped a few paces in front of Corynn. "How did it go?" she asked, referring to the girl's meeting with the faculty. "Are you an employee here now?"

"Well I don't have any college experience so I didn't get the teacher spot but I did get the teacher assistant position" Corynn says smiling but realizes that she forgot the room she was assigned too.
