(Sorry I fell asleep at my laptop last night)
Kousei nodded,taking a sip his water and looking at the two of them, "Of course, a captains job is not the easiest by any means and unfortunately, your times to relax as few." he smiled to each of them, "I am glad you will be taking this quick break though, you both deserve it after all you've been doing for each division." he smiled happily and then ate a few of his vegetables happily.

Heiwa had been about to continue on her walk, when she noticed Hotaru stop and speak to them again. She looked at him for a moment, before glancing up at her fellow lieutenant. She didn't actually know what she should do. She figured most people would help him, but they weren't most people. They were lieutenants. Did they go out of their way to help a lower Shinigami from a different Division? She actually didn't know. She had been taught to take responsibility for her actions and her work. That asking for help or apologizing was a sign of weakness. Probably why she had so many problems with her confidence. For now, she would follow the other lieutenants lead. If he helped, so would she. If he didn't, she would continue with her walk.
Hikari nodded slightly as she wiped her mouth once more. "We will only be staying for a day, maybe two...It depends on if we find anything there or not...The captain-commander told me we could go as long as we did a patrol as well...So it isn't all pleasure with this trip...Most patrols last several days to a week, but Mizuki is right...We're captains, we can't stay for longer than two days..." She had never done much patrolling besides her time before being put in a Division. Once she'd been placed in Division Four, she basically didn't leave the Seireitei after that. She didn't mind all that much, she wanted to be a healer. Now that she was captain, she barely left her office except for meetings with the other captains or to eat.

No worries! I fell asleep too xD]]
"Help you? You can't catch two butterflies on your own?" Takeshi responded, crossing his arms as he faced the smaller shinigami. His head twitched to the side to remove his bangs from his eyes.
"Well, um, there's more than two on the loose..." Hotaru mumbled. He tapped his index fingers together, his gaze sinking to the ground with a look of guilt. "Eight... are loose," he went on, the volume of his voice dropping even more.
"Eight?! I don't have time to search all of Seireitei for a bunch of tiny insects," Takeshi snapped, starting to turn around. "They could be anywhere by now."
"Wait! I'll make it up to you! Honest!" Hotaru cried. His pleading look wavered between Heiwa and Takeshi.
~~~
Mizuki set her chopsticks down for a moment and nodded in agreement with Kousei. "Yes, I have been looking forward to this," she said with a faint smile. As serious as she was about her work in Seireitei, it didn't mean she enjoyed it all the time. Even patrolling was more enjoyable than paperwork. She reached for the water jug and refilled her glass, taking a long sip before letting out a satisfied sigh.
Kousei finished off his meal soon after they'd finished discussing the logistics of their travel. He sighed gently and poured himself a glass of water as well and began sipping quietly as he looked at the two of them. "I do hope you enjoy your time, both of you quite deserve it." he told them both with a light smile as he adjusted his bandana just a bit.
Heiwa would have helped if there were fewer, but either definitely seemed like a lot. She then started to think about this on a bigger scale however. That many messengers missing could end up being a problem if something happened. She sighed softly, figuring she was probably going to regret this. She reached up to touch Tadeki's arm lightly. "We should help him. Not for him, but because that many messengers missing puts us at a disadvantage if something were to happen. Especially if they stay missing. We don't need to help with all of them, but lowering the number missing would be best for all of us." Her voice was sharp with a slight accent, also a bit quiet and hoarse. Probably from underuse.
Hikari nodded and smiled at Mizuki. "As have I..." She finished eating and set her chopsticks down. She'd actually cleaned off her tray quite quickly for someone who'd said she wasn't hungry. She sipped from her water, sighing lightly once she'd finished. She bowed her head lightly to Kousei. "That was delicious...I thank you for making that for us..." She gave him a kind smile, then started to stand. "I should get back to my Division...I'll need to brief them on my absence..."
"Thank you Kousei, for the words and the food," Mizuki said, giving him a slight nod. She took another sip of water before turning to Hikari as the captain stood up. "It was nice having lunch with you, Hikari. I will see you tomorrow then," she added, also standing up. She picked up the empty dishes in front of her before reaching for Hikari's and then Kousei's, carrying them back to the kitchen before anyone had time to stop her.
~~~
Takeshi looked down at Heiwa and let out a loud sigh. "Fine, let's get this over with," he muttered. He strode up to Hotaru and tapped the smaller shinigami on the shoulder. "Which direction did the others go in? If you say you don't know I'm walking away right now."
Hotaru couldn't hide the happiness in his wide eyes. "You'll both help me? Thanks!" he exclaimed. "Oh! Um, I think the rest went that way and that way," he added, pointing to either side of him. He held up a large jar holding two of the insects, caught while Heiwa and Takeshi were speaking. "I'll put them in here once we find the rest."

Kousei smiled lightly to the two of them, "It's not a big deal at all!" he told them brightly, "Any time you want a meal just let me know." she added with a smile. His eyes flicked to Hikari and he nodded a goodbye for now and then to Mizuki as she snagged all the dishes and disappeared into the kitchen. His eyes flickered back to Hikari and he smiled gently to Hikari, "I do hope you enjoy your time in Karakura town captain." he told her with a smile and nod.

"Yeah, of course," Eiichi replied quickly, getting up and going back over to the kitchen area. He grabbed another one and walked back over, handing it to her. "So, everything you know about this stuff is from your father?" He asked.

Hikari nodded to Mizuki with a smile. "Tomorrow..." She nodded to Kousei, then turned and headed out of the eating area. She didn't have a long walk back to Division Four. She did, however, have to long of a wait to head to the living world with Mizuki. She was really looking forward to it. She was hoping that there were no problems either. The less Hollow problems there were, the more she could enjoy her little break from paperwork.
Heiwa looked to either side, then glanced up at Takeshi as she stepped up to the two male Shinigami. "I'll go this way." She pointed to her left. "Where should we meet when we find them?" She would catch one or two, then see where they were. She didn't want to catch more than that, but she was looking at this as an excuse to practice her Shunpo. She wanted to master the technique soon.

Mizuki waited until Hikari left before setting the pile of dishes down in the kitchen. She picked up the first one and ran it under the water to clean it. The cool water helped wake her up a bit, since the warm food earlier had brought back her tiredness. She went over things to prepare for the trip in her head as she continued to wash the dishes.
~~~
"I'll take the other way," Takeshi said. "As for where to meet up... you, stay here, and keep that lid tight on that jar. We'll meet back here once all have been caught," he decided. He figured if Hotaru stayed put instead of going off on his own again there'd be a smaller chance of him freeing the butterflies again.
Hotaru blinked, staring up at Takeshi. "Ok," he murmured, tightening his hold on the jar.
~~~
Aoi nodded. "Yeah, my father and a couple other relatives on his side of the family. That was only when I was little, we used to visit them more. As soon as my dad figured out I could see spirits he started teaching me, sometimes even interrupting my normal studies for it," she told him.

Heiwa nodded to Takeshi and turned away, slipping her book into her robes. She would probably have to come back once she'd caught one. She doubted she could keep one in control while catching another without harming it. She didn't mind all that much though. The butterflies needed to be respected, since they were very close allies. She jumped onto the wall, then vanished from sight as she used her Shunpo. She would probably find one of the butterflies soon with how fast she was moving.

Takeshi took off shortly after Heiwa, dashing down to the end of the street before jumping to the roof of the closest building. With one last glance over his shoulder at Hotaru he jumped to the next roof, keeping his eyes peeled for the small black insects. "If only there was an easier way to do this," he muttered before jumping again.

Heiwa came to a stop on a rooftop, scanning the area for a black butterfly. They couldn't have gotten far, and they wouldn't be able to leave the Seireitei. At least that's what she was hoping. She'd never had to learn if they could or not. This had never been her job since she hadn't been in that Division. She sighed, then stopped. There! She jumped down, catching the black butterfly lightly in her cupped hands. She opened them a bit, smiling a bit at the small butterfly. The lack of a message told her this was one of the ones that had escaped. She turned around and jumped off again, vanishing from sight once more. A couple minutes later she dropped down in front of Hotaru. "I found one." She held out her cupped hands so he could take the butterfly and put it in the jar.

Heiwa dropping down in front of him gave Hotaru a start, almost dropping the jar but not quite. "Ah! Great!" he exclaimed. "Ready?" He lowly held out the large jar and began to open the lid, being careful not to actually open it until Heiwa's hands with the butterfly were right up against it.

Heiwa slipped her hands almost un the jar to release the butterfly inside of the jar. She then pulled her hands out to let the jar close. She looked at Hotaru once that was done. "So how exactly do you plan to repay us for doing this for you?" She was interested to hear his ideas. He was third seat from the Twelfth Division if she remembered correctly. She'd heard the same stories about his captain. Though she wondered what he'd been doing in possession of so many Jigokucho. He'd had to have them to lose them after all.

Hotaru tightened the lid of the jar once more after Heiwa placed the butterfly inside. As for the lieutenant's question, he had to pause and think for a moment. He finally looked up at her and, scratching the back of his head, gave Heiwa his answer. "Um, I'm not sure yet, hehe.... but I'll think of something!" he said, giving her a very determined look.
I have to go, talk to you later!]]

Heiwa looked at him for a moment, before turning away. She had more questions, but she could ask the next one when she returned with another butterfly. She jumped onto the wall, then vanished once more as she headed for the area she had said she would cover. She wondered if Takeshi was having the luck she'd had already. She got the first one rather easily after all. She came to a stop on another rooftop, looking around carefully. Spotting nothing, she moved to the next. When she landed on the next roof, she almost slipped off when she tried not to step on the butterfly that was perched there. She quickly caught it before it could fly away and sighed. And another one down. She headed back to Hotaru once more. She'd been gone for almost ten minutes at that point. So she was going to surprise him again when she landed down. She looked at him as she did, judging his reaction.

Hotaru didn't jump as much as last time, but a quick inhale was heard when Heiwa landed before him. He looked at her with widened eyes once more and held out the jar. "That's half of them already," he commented, eyes flicking down to the jigokucho.
"Add two more to that," came Takeshi's voice from down the street. He came walking up to them with a butterfly in each hand, wings pinched between his index finger and thumb. "I saw one more heading to your division, but I can only hold two at a time," he added.
Hotaru looked up to thank Takeshi, but instead a look of horror came over his face. "D-DOn't hold them like that! You'll ruin their wings!" he blurted out.
Takeshi didn't give much of a reaction. "You want help or not?"

Once Heiwa had put the one she caught in the jar, she turned to Takeshi. She would have voiced agreement with Hotaru, but she realized that she wouldn't make any difference. She'd barely convinced him to stay in help in the first place. She then looked back at Hotaru. "I have a question. Why are you in possession of all these Jigokucho?" She tilted her head slightly, wondering why Division Twelve would need so many.

Hotaru waited for Takeshi to drop off the two butterflies before answering. "I'm partly in charge of taking care of them in the lab," he answered. "My division oversees communications after all." He had a small proud grin on his face as he looked at Heiwa. "Now there's just two left..."

Heiwa blinked, raising an eyebrow. What? Wasn't it her division, Division Two, that was in charge of communication? Either Hotaru was lying, or he was misinformed. There was always the possibility she was remembering it wrong, but until that was proven she was going to put her focus on Hotaru. She didn't say anything however, turning away to leave once more. One each for her and Takeshi. At least she was getting her cardio workout in for the day. She was trying to see the positive side of things. After all her negativity, her captain had finally gotten fed up with it and ordered her to give positivity a shot. It was definitely different.

Sorry for the huge poof! But I finished my paper! ]] All my human world charries are stuck, sorry Mist >_<]] "I'll go after the one headint to squad twelve," Takeshi stated before turning around. This was going faster than he thought it would, but then again it was pretty easy to see a pitch black butterfly against light grey paths and buildings. Hotaru stared into the jar at the jigokucho while the lieutenants headed off once again. He was starting to feel very relieved, everything seemed to be going in such a way that he'd get to live another day in the twelfth division.

Nice Hime!))
Heiwa vanished from sight once more as she went after the final butterfly. It took her several minutes to locate it, finally finding it on its way towards her own division's barracks. She jumped own in front of the butterfly, cutting it off like she had the first one. She caught it easily before it could change course and sighed softly. There. She was done. She jumped off for Hotaru's position once more. It didn't take her very long, and this time she landed behind him.

Takeshi found the butterfly fairly easily, it hadn't drifted far from where he saw it earlier. He ran up behind it and cupped his hands around it this time, it would be bad if one of their means of communication got damaged. He took a glance at the gate to the twelfth division before speeding back to where Heiwa and Hotaru were waiting.

Heiwa cleared her throat when she realized that Hotaru hadn't realized she was behind him. "I have returned with the final Jigokucho." She waited for the jar, and slipped the butterfly inside. "I must ask. I thought the Second Division was in charge of messaging, not the Twelfth. Am I wrong?" She tilted her head in question, wondering if she was indeed mistaken. She was proud of her memory, and was going to be very disappointed if she had actually mixed up the responsibilities of two of the divisions. She was a lieutenant after all.
