Here we are Bunny ! I had a few ideas for the lore of this world and such that I wanted to discuss with you, but first I'd like to select characters and roles. I really don't mind playing either role, so I'd like you to pick yours.

Id prefer to take the role of the human and also female if that’s okay.
Also sure! I’d love to discuss lore

Fine by me! Is it cool if my character is nonbinary?
So the main lore of this world is most angels are jerks, but there's a civil war going on where the angels who don't care about humanity are fighting with the angels who do. Fallen angels are angels who have either been injured to a point where their wings don't work or angels who fall from a very specific height, on purpose or on accident. Angels who fall from said height wind up on h-e-double-toothpicks, while injured Fallen could end up nearly anywhere. All of this is able to be changed, so if you have some input, feel free to share!

Yep that’s fine! (:
So I’m assuming humans are unaware of this civil war? And it’ll become something more prominent (possibly effecting the human world) as the story goes on? I don’t really have much to add at the moment but I’m sure i’ll brainstorm things during the story :3

Most humans are unaware but there are some who have become very aware of it, who have had their lives threatened by the Imperials (the ones who either don't care about human lives or actively try to destroy them). That's what I was thinking anyhow-

Okay sounds good~ I think I’ll have my character be blissfully unaware of angels and the war, until your character shows up at her doorstep that is

Late nights had never been a problem for Makael, at least until today. They'd been on the move towards where there had been reports of Imperialists attacking civillians. "There's only three." That's what they had been told. There wasn't only three. Something had gone wrong, and they were the last one left in the air. Their flight was spastic, one wing was bleeding freely, and they were heavily injured nearly everywhere else, but they were alive and still in the air, and that's what mattered. At least, that was the case until an arrow tore through their injury, causing them to yelp, spiraling down at an alarming rate. It was all they could do to avoid hitting a human's place of living, instead landing in the grass in the front as everything around them suddenly went red with the pain, then cut to black.

“That’s it, we’re getting pizza.” Cassandra Madison spoke out loud. The chicken she was attempting to make for dinner came out of the oven undercooked for the third time. Her only audience was her cat, Dakota, who licked his paw and ran it over his ear. Cassie huffed in annoyance and tucked a strand of ash blonde hair behind her ear from where it had fallen from her ponytail.
She was new to this whole living on her own thing, and cooking certainly wasn’t her forte. She’d moved across the country from her parents and everyone she knew for a “fresh start”, but so far that fresh start was just reminding her of how little life skills she had obtained.
As she continued to poke at the chicken in an attempt to save it, she caught her cat turning his attention to the window, and every tuft of fur on his body raising. A pit formed in Cassie’s stomach. “What is… don’t tell me this place is haunted too.”
Against her better judgment, she made her way over to the window and peaked through the blinds. Which is when she caught sight of… a body?
She quickly opened the front door and took off out of it. She dropped down next to Makael, in a panic, which heightened when she saw the large wings protruding from their back. I’m dreaming. I’m hallucinating? This can’t be happening. Cassie had finished about half of a bottle of wine previously in the evening, but she didn’t think that could cause her to see what she was seeing right now. Her panic grew and she reacted the first way she could think of, which was a hard slap against this… creatures face in an attempt to revive them.

Makael was awoken by a panicked human slapping their face. They didn't mind, it didn't hurt compared to everything else. They slowly opened etherial blue eyes to examine the human. It was female, clearly, but they couldn't tell much else in the dim lighting. "... It is probably too late for this, but be not afraid." Their wings had begun smoking shortly after they fell, and now they were turning from a startling white to a charcoal black, one line of feathers at a time, starting from the base. They winced lightly, quickly averting their eyes as they braced themself in an attempt to mask their wings.

Cassie’s wide, bewildered storm grey eyes met that of the ones before her. They were an otherworldly blue that held her captivated for a moment despite the situation at hand. Eyes that certainly weren’t human.
Yeah, no crap!
As Makael’s wings began to change she gasped and dropped their head, scooting backwards and away from them. She held up her hands and noticed the blood staining her pale skin. I’m going to pass out. This isn’t real. This isn’t real. I’m gonna be sick.
She swallowed hard and looked at the houses surrounding her in the darkness. She had yet to even greet her new neighbors, and she had no means of explaining her way out of this one if they were to come outside. Her teeth snagged her bottom lip and she stood up, bracing her shaky arms under Makaels armpits. She only reached a height of 5’2 and was rather on the small side, but she was gonna hope adrenaline would pull through. With a grunt she began to pull them towards her front door, and it seemed like years before she made it inside and slammed it shut behind them.
“Oh my god,” she stammered, staring at the angel on the floor in front of her.

Makael grimaced as they were half-picked up, half-dragged across the lawn. They soon registered what the human was doing and made an effort to help by half-stumbling their way over the doorframe, collapsing the second they were let go of.
"You... really didn't have to do that, human... though I do appreciate it."
They finally managed to tuck their still-bloody wings back into the astral plane, trying to minimize the amount of mess they were making on the human's very nice tile floor. This just left their very broken arm and the hole going straight through their left leg, so mess successfully minimized.
They sucked in a breath they didn't need, relaxing now that they didn't have to strain. "I... apologize for ruining your evening. I mean, I suppose it would have been much more unpleasant had I fallen through your roof..."
They slipped a hand behind their head to rub the base of their skull in an effort to find the source of the dull ache. Their fingers returned wet with blood. This only drew an inquisitive hum from the otherworldly being. "I'd no idea we bled from there."

Cassie hurried to her kitchen and returned with all the fresh hand towels she had just purchased, offering them to Makael. Her arms, pajamas, and tips of her long blonde hair were covered in blood. She ran her hands through her hair in exasperation, furthering the bloody scene.
“Are you like some kind of cosplayer?” She spat out, searching for the only reasonable explanation. “Did someone beat you up? I can call the cops.”

"The police will not be helpful in this situation. You ought to bathe. I can be gone by the time you're out of the bath, and you can sweep this all under the rug as a hallucination if that's what you wish." They knew that if they left, they has a much higher chance if being found and finished ioff, but they gave a brave smile to the human, showing none of the fear they felt. They didn't want to die. Just like most other living things, angels had a will to live. Still, if it meant taking this human out of the crossfire, they would willingly leave and give themself up. It wasn't personal, of course, they'd just met. It was duty and a feeling of being indebted mingling in their brain. They started to pull themself to their feet, wincing in the process.

Cassie stared at them blankly for a moment before shaking her head. “No. Just um…. just stay there for a minute.” She motioned to the thrifted brown couch in the center of her living room. It smelled a little musty and had cigarette burns on the corners, but it was hers, and that’s what mattered to her.
Before they could argue with her, she hurried away to the bathroom and jumped into the shower. She scrubbed hard at her hair, not only to remove the blood, but like she was trying to scratch her brain into focus. For some reason (perhaps an ingrained instinct to protect the good angel she didn’t understand yet) she wasn’t about to throw Makael back onto the street and forget what had just occurred.
She returned shortly after, dressed in a baby pink pajama set that complimented her pale skin. Her hair was wrapped in a towel but loose strands had fallen out and small water droplets dripped down her cheeks.
She plopped down on the couch and gave the angel her best “thunderstorm stare”, grey eyes intense and inquisitive. “What are you? And what are you doing here?”

Makael didn't bother arguing, limping over tithe couch, taking care not to bleed on it. They remained quiet, listening to the water run, shifting once it shut off into an almost-upright position.
Their gaze was calm as the human emerged, trying their best not to chuckle at what looked to be an attempt at intimidation in what was clearly sleepwear. They hid their amusement well.
My name is Makael. I am an angel of the Lord. I had been fighting a war for many years to protect your kind. Some of my siblings... don't much care for humanity." Their unnatural gaze dropped as they remembered se things, keeping it to themself. "But many of us do. The things you're capable of... it's fascinating. I want to see where humanity will be in a hundred years."

Cassie listened to Makael’s words, tight lipped and expressionless. She’d always been an avid lover of fantasy novels, maladaptive daydreaming and believing something fantastic might happen to her one day. But that was just an overactive imagination… right? In her childhood, her religious family brought her to church but she had long since stopped believing in such things.
She raised a curious eyebrow. Did she believe Makael’s story? Not necessarily. Regardless, she had no other explanation for this clearly otherworldly creature sitting right in front of her.
“So…. these siblings. Are they the ones that did this to you?” She spoke slowly, skeptically. She observed the marks covering their body and furrowed her eyebrows, wishing she could do more to help.

Makael nodded lightly, gazing off toward the window. "I'll have to at least bandage myself up before they come back to finish the job. Do you happen to have what I believe is called a first-aid kit?"
They started to stand again as they spoke through gritted teeth, keeping most of their weight on their uninjured leg.

“Finish the job…?” Cassie repeated, eyes growing wide again.
With a whoosh of air she stood back up to rummage through the groceries she bought days ago, but still hadn’t put away. Finally, she produced a squirt bottle of alcohol and some bandages. “Sorry… that’s probably going to burn. Like a lot.”
Cassie offered the items to Makael and frowned. “Will they be able to find you here?” She looked nervously towards her windows, then her unlocked front door. Which she quickly ran to lock. If that’ll even help.
Cassie took the towel off of her head and tossed it onto a chair beside her. Her long hair fell down her back in waves and she began to finger comb it to distract herself. This Makael had said these angels were at a war over humanity (which she still couldn’t wrap her head around) and that some weren’t particularly fond of humans. Which, unfortunately, she was very much human.

[{ So…. I have this little idea that Cassie comes from a bloodline of hunters that were given special powers by the good angels to be “secret weapons” of sorts against the bad ones. These powers sometimes skip generations though and Cassie is currently the only living relative with these abilities (not like she knows about that yet). I haven’t quite worked out what those abilities will be though, I just thought it would be fun to make her a little powerful and maybe give more reason for her to be a target/relevant to the war.
This idea sounded a lot more organized in my head when I thought about it last night ^w^” And I’m still working on exactly how it’ll fit into the story. Also, If this doesn’t fit with your lore or if I need to change anything, lemme know ~ }]

(That's a super cool idea- Maybe instead of Powers it could be some sort of family heirloom weapon? Or both lol- This lore is literally making things up as we go, so anything really works tbh ^^)

[{ think I want her to have some sort of general powers (i’m a sucker for mage characters) but those powers are very amplified by a family heirloom? So that could be another plot point- searching for said heirloom. I typically plan as I go too~ Whenever I think of anything else to add I’ll letcha know :3 }]

"They may. I'm not entirely sure, but they'll likely go searching for me around the town." Makael refused to answer the first question, hardly even wincing as they used the rubbing alcohol on the leg wound. They then bandaged it, wrapping it tight. "I require some sort of stick." They stood up, limping toward the door.
