Hellohi, reader! My name is Dark Sun, although "Sage" or simply "Sun" will certainly do as well! We can engage in pleasantries at a later date - I will not delay any longer.
WHAT KIND OF STORY?: I am looking for a willing participant to engage with me in a relatively simple, almost slice of life type of roleplay. There will likely be no massive Clans, grand prophecies, or any of that hullabaloo that honestly would require more members. Nonetheless, there will still be plenty of action and intimate character moments. I am an absolute sucker for character development and worldbuilding, you have no idea!
TL;DR: Slice of life, character focused plot. Romance between characters is an option, so long as it isn't the focus of the story.
EXPECTATIONS / RULES: If you want to roleplay with me, some "prerequisites" must be fulfilled beforehand. Read below for details!
1) Age requirement | You must be over the age of 18.
2) Literacy and post length | You must be literate. Good grammar, proper punctuation, and spelling are all expected. This means full sentences that are coherent and easy to understand. | It is expected for each user to achieve a minimum of 6-8 full lines per post when roleplaying. In order to allow for the other party to enjoy the roleplay, it is requested that you include in-depth details of your character's actions, environment, thoughts and feelings. Please include a sentence of dialogue, internal or external, whenever possible. Posts that simply state actions without any other context can cause your fellow RP partner to have a difficult time with responses.
3) LGBTQ+ | Characters that are LGBTQ+ are fully permitted and are to be treated equally to their cishet counterparts. If you are not comfortable with LGBTQ+ characters in your roleplays, then this won't be for you.
STORY & TERRITORY: I have several beginning plots detailed below. If you have any suggestions in regards to tweaking them, or if you want an entirely different setting, let me know! The story and the territory map will be intrinsically connected - the plot will have to depend on the region, and vice versa.
I am relatively well equipped with creating maps on Inkarnate.com. Check out the spoiler tag below for an image of one of the maps that I have made in the past! That is the level of quality we'd be working with.
CHARACTER TEMPLATE: Already created!
PLOTS:
1) ISLAND TERRITORY | Located in the middle of the Pacific is a fictional inhabited island stretching several miles in diameter. It is home to a Twoleg settlement - a small village and docks - and with them is a small collection of kittypets and the odd loner. We can roleplay as some of these. Meanwhile, our other feline characters are currently on board some Twoleg ships that will soon dock at the harbor for a two week visit. Once the Twolegs have visited friends and family and traded supplies at the island, they will set sail once more. Our boat-living cats are given the opportunity to explore the inhabited region of the island, but are forbidden (and are quite frankly too scared) from venturing into the untamed woods beyond.
Close to two weeks after the arrival of the vessels and the cats they brought along with them, a fire breaks out, threatening all life on the island. The Twolegs rush to their ships, intending to flee once the wildfire becomes too fierce, and some end up leaving their cats behind. A great rainfall slams the island the next morning, putting out the worst of the flames, and leaving that one side of the island charred. Now, our kittypet characters must learn to survive on their own without their Twolegs to care for them, and they sense that in the shadows of the untouched portions of the forest, they are being watched by curious and sinister eyes.
2) BARN / FOREST TERRITORY | A queen is raising her litter in an abandoned Twoleg nest, unaware of the danger afoot: a male fox that has recently moved into the area. It has been terrorizing the local farm for days, snatching chickens and threatening the lives of the cats that inhabit the nearby barn. But what can be done against this terrifying creature?
We'll be roleplaying the queen and her litter in this story, as well as the barn cats. As time goes on, we can introduce new subplots and more characters. It might even taken them beyond the barn.
