Junko ; 19 ; female ; class a Junko is a 5'4" whirlwind, with a lithe and flexible physique. She is built for speed more than outright attack, specializing in midrange to long range combat. She has shoulder-length black hair with a slight wave in the locks, framing her angular face and it seemingly-permanent neutral look bordering on a glare. Her eyes are a deep brown speckled with pale gold in certain lights. She is Japanese, from a high-class monster hunting family, with a certain amount of ego to come with that. She can be sharp, loud-mouthed at times, with cutting remarks always at the ready. She tends to favor the brave over those considered her peers, enjoying the risk as well as the personality of those in Class B far more. She is rarely cautious, though she is intelligent enough that her recklessness is often harmless to herself. If you find yourself in her good graces, count yourself blessed because though she gets along with Class B, she has favorites that she will most certainly risk her neck for--but not her family ties. She has her own wicked sense of humor especially when it comes to battle. Despite the advantages of stealth, she would rather be witty and lose the advantage if it meant she was remembered. She is a survivalist above all things, so be very careful if she's your allies. other ☆•–– ƒ. ѕcσтт ƒιтzgєяαℓ∂
Griffin Pierce ; 18 ; male ; class b A young African-American with energy to burn, despite seeming like the intimidating tough guy--in reality, he's just shy. Once you get to know him, he is highly intelligent, empathetic, as well as someone you definitely want on your side. He's loyal, but self-deprecating to a fault. He would sacrifice anything for his friends and family. He has skin like cedar, but his eyes are milky-brown due to his disability--despite being a powerful mutant, he's blind. He has been since he was born, presumably a side-effect of his mutation. He can manipulate space after all, which is different from telekinesis. He can't move the objects themselves, only the space around them. This often gets mistaken for teleportation. He is also a weak telepath, one who can project images and short phrases only onto open minds or those he's bonded to. He is six feet tall and broad, strong due to intense training to make sure he could protect himself and those he loved without using his powers. Griffin tires easily with his powers unless he measures it in short bursts, even then he can easily become overworked and pass out. He is a diligent worker as he knows he has nothing to return to if he is kicked out, due to his parents' passing away within six months of each other. other ☆•–– ƒ. ѕcσтт ƒιтzgєяαℓ∂

It was 8:00 AM and freezing.
In all fairness, early morning patrols always seemed to attract bad weather, but with the rather depressing atmosphere it felt colder than usual. With all the cloud cover it was still dark, as if the sun had chosen not to rise. The classes were lined up outside the eastern bay door, right in front of the outside gate leading out into the forest. Standing separated by class, staff was busy passing out body armor while the leaders went over the mission brief one more time.
Piper stood by the edge of the group, staring down at the little holographic screen in his hand, squinting at the softly glowing white letters. His breath came out in cold puffs- the winter jacket he'd put on wasn't doing much for him at the moment. The screen switched to a map of the surrounding area, white dots appearing on a line that traced through the eastern path that ended at a lighthouse by the coast. They'd been explicitly told not to split up groups this time around, and only to make the 3 mapped stops on their route. Their route was a bit shorter than usual, but they were also instructed to keep a lookout for signs of Risher, so they'd have to divide their time. Their main goal was just to clear out the monsters too close to the walls and report back anything unusual. It was easy enough in words, but he wasn't so sure how easy the execution would be with himself holding the reigns. He'd lost a bit of sleep the night before just stressing about how he was going to manage this, and it looked obvious on his tired yet panicked eyes. Piper switched the screen off and tucked the device in his coat pocket, taking a step towards the group while waiting for them to all get ready. The sword he had tied to his waist felt like it weighed a thousand pounds with responsibility. He just hoped everyone would put aside their difference for one patrol. Sparing a glance out past the chain-link fence, a chill crept up his spine, one that he was certain wasn't from the weather.
Wisteria stood off amongst the Class A kids, slipping a piece of body armor over her chest and adjusting the gloves on her hands. She felt quite a bit of confidence going into this patrol, even though both teams were being grumpy and rowdy. She felt pride and fear for Piper, seeing him standing there like a stone changing the stream's current. Although it was quite exciting he had the position, her heart was quick with worry now that he was in the limelight, especially considering the rest of Class B's opinion on the matter. After a moment of watching him, she adjusted the gun at her belt and stood at attention, arms crossed over her chest as she breathed in the frosty air, looking towards Fiona expectantly.
Stile stood with the rest of Class B, already prepped and leaning back against the wall near the bay door, waiting for everyone to get ready and pull open the gate. Nothing strange had appeared to him last night, so he supposed this would just be another easy patrol. Unless someone decided to act out, but he really, really hoped that no one was going to choose to be that stupid today. Hopefully.

Caspian stretches his arms as he waits for the patrol to be off. He was more than ready to show off his skills and make his fellow classmates clap and gawk at him. He hoped to find some clue about the current missing student. Glancing around, Caspian decided to try something. "So this is random but what do you guys think happen to that Risher kid"?

Fiona loved these patrols. The chill in the air did little to dampen her enthusiasm. Body armor adjusted, she swept her eyes over Class A, doing a quick check of everyone's armor and gear. Taking a step towards Seven, she quietly adjusted his breastplate and buckled it properly before playfully tousling his short hair. Stepping back, she looked over the group, then clapped her hands to get their attention. As she spoke, her rather jovial, relaxed mannerisms disappeared as she got ready to get to work, "Short patrol this morning. We stay together, clear out any monsters near the perimeter, and keep an eye out for anything unusual. Drag marks, blood spotting, I'm sure you all know the drill. If you find something, report it immediately and don't go after leads on your own. Let's try not to bring back multiple bodies today." She glanced over at Piper, surveying him just as she had with the others and while his armor and weapons appeared to be in order, the kid looked like he was exhausted and terrified. Situating her spear on her back, she leaned towards him and turned her head so the others couldn't see what she was whispering to him, "You gotta wake up and look like you know what you're doing. Otherwise, someone's going to try and take advantage today."
Anna and Jack stood in line with the others, adjusting armor and checking weapons. Jack had his pistol and his bare fists, which he was frequently insisted was all that he needed. Anna had a pistol holstered on her hip as well, but her preferred weapons, a pair of knives, were already in her hands. Fingers nimbly flipped and played with the weapons as she waited, scanning the group. Everyone was still on edge and the patrol certainly promised to be highly entertaining. Her eyes landed on Piper and she smirked at his quality impression of a deer in the headlights.

The twins, handsy with each other already, had just finished up making sure each other's body armor was good to go. Looking over at Fiona, they glanced at each other and then at her, smiling lazily in her direction,"whatever you say boss" "we'll stick" "real close" "to you." Snickering followed as the two enjoyed their own little joke before looking towards Caspian at their question. "Maybe Risher" "died a silent and painful death," they offered up, looking at each other and then at him,"you never know" "maybe he got scared and" "ran away like a child."

Caspian resisted the urge to want to defend his secret crush. "Eh maybe." He said shrugging his shoulders. "Though, he seemed like a tough looking guy for a Class B student. Looks can be deceiving I suppose." He turned his gaze towards Fiona and waited for her to start leading the patrol.

Lilah was practically buzzing, as she usually did on patrols. The girl was an adrenaline junkie through and through, always ready to hop into danger head first. Making sure everything was strapped on nice and tight, she sauntered over to Stile, spinning the handles to her light katars haphazardly. "You ready to go stab some things," she chirped giddily. Lifting her leg and knocking one of the handles against her bandaged ankle, she grinned. "Let's hope I don't fall and die along the way, right? Risher 2.0." She glanced over towards Fiona, who looked pretty leaderly right now, standing in front of Class A. Yesterday she had said she wanted to spar with the two of them... Could that have been to try and impress her? Fiona obviously had no interest in her, right? She turned her attention back to Stile. "Get any spooky premonitions about your bff dying?"
Cassie was shaking. She was pretty sure it was only 10% due to the cold. Everyone was geared up and looked prepared. Cassie? Cassie had a shotgun shoved into her hands- not a sniper rifle, mind you -and armor and expected simply to know how this all worked. Which she very much did not. With a little trouble, she had managed to put the armor on currently, at least she was pretty sure. Although it probably wasn't reality, she certainly felt far too small for this protective shell, clutching the gun close to her chest and normally warm eyes wildly flicking about. Oh god, oh god. Today was the day she was going to die, wasn't it?
