[ got itttt ]
The dean nodded and spun around in his chair for a moment, then inched back around and slid another cup across the desk towards her, no real evidence of where exactly it had come from. Leaning back in the seat, he sipped from the cup he had in his own hands and pursed his lips in thought. "Well, in a situation like that, there's really no perfect way to handle things. You are a human, not a robot, you make the best decisions you can," he pointed out, drumming his fingers on the delicate ceramic. "What makes you a leader is how you uphold your decisions, and recognize criticism. But dwelling too much on what you could have done wont change what has already been done. You must continue forward with the decisions you've made, and make them work. You're quite skilled at making things work," he smiled, gesturing with a slight nod towards the fancy new door that had not yet been broken down yet, "Oak looks better, don't you think?"

Fiona cradled the cup in her hands as she listened, sipping slowly at the hot drink. His answer brought a smile to her face and she felt the tension leave her shoulders. It was just what she needed to hear and the complement at the end of his statement certainly made her feel a little bit better. She could make this work and everything would turn out okay. And even if things got worse, she knew she had the dean's support and assistance, which was all the reassurance she needed. Glancing back towards the door, Fiona grinned, "Yes sir. It also looks a lot thicker than the old door." She finished off the last of her tea and stood, carefully placing the teacup back on the desk, "Thank you very much for the tea, sir."

"Of course," the dean nodded with a smile in return, waving a hand nonchalantly. "You're free to visit me anytime. Really, it's a whole lot more interesting than the paperwork I get." Really, he would've hoped some of the other students wouldn't be too afraid to approach him, but alas he'd been summed up as some mysterious rumor throughout the school. Perhaps he needed to make some more public appearances, but surely his potted plants would wilt if he left for so long! "I'm glad I could help. Have a nice evening, Fiona."

Riandylan happily hovered behind Cassie and Anna, letting their discussion take hold of their attention. They found it fascinating, and didn't want to interrupt - studying their expressions, especially Anna's, as they spoke of humanity and war, was particularly interesting. They stood on their tiptoes, sort of wanting to peek at the book too, but they were quite small and couldn't quite peek over their shoulders. They sank back to their heels, looking over at the rows of spines jutting out, almost reaching towards them, whispering promises of exciting stories and adventures. At least, they hoped there were lots of adventure books. They looked over at Anna and Cassie, who seemed encased in their own world between each other and each other alone, and figured they wouldn't notice if Riandylan were to wander off and grab a book to their liking. They waddled off, figuring they could jump back in on the tour when the two were ready. "Doo doo doo doo," they hummed under their breath as they shuffled along the shelves.

haha Gabriel: I hate my life fsjkdn alessandra: zzz....
----------------
Alessandra Cusmano
Alessandra could only yawn on her way to class. Her hand covered her mouth, eyes drooping before she gave a low sigh. She simply kicked the door open for a brief moment, stepping into the first class of the day and made her way to her seat. Plopping down, her lips pursing she dropped her bag beside her seat and dropped her face into her desk. She hated this with a passion. Why was she even here? Why did she even take an entrance exam or even place- she didn't have a useful mutation like everyone else. In fact, she smelt like lavender and spices and she pretty much turned into a burnt zombie on the new moons: hiding behind a plague doctor mask and slinking through the shadows. She could be a spoopy skeleton sure, but it wasn't useful. Eyes creeping open, she watched the other students file in before raising her hood and hiding it over her face.
Gabriel Kursen
Gabriel was up bright and early as usual. His hair was smoothed back like feathers and his eyes were scouring the paper he was holding within his large hands. Thankfully his bruise over his eye begun to clear up- leaving a faint tinge of blue and purple at his temple. However, the cut looked worse than when it had been first created. Giving a light sigh through his nose, the teacher turned his attention to the white board and begun to scribble across it. His handwriting was neat and written in penmanship- or cursive if you will. Upon it was scribbled 'Hello Students' and then a section of Materials and below it, what was needed for his class, some rules next to the materials list, and below all of it, what he expects from the classes that came in to his classroom. His left hand was tucked behind him, and resting at the small of his back as he slowly paced in front of the white board before setting the papers down on his desk. Giving a light sigh, he shifted his vest and simply awaited for his students to file in.

Lilah was walking beside Stile down towards class, a small bag hanging off her back and a pen currently being twirled between her fingers. Considering it was her, this was potentially very dangerous. Lilah wasn't exactly known for being conscious of her surroundings. "So. How was Seven yesterday? I forgot to ask about that."
Cassie had actually done as Anna requested and begun reading that book. It was, conveniently, translated in a way that was easy to understand for modern readers. Although it notably reflected philosophy unique to China and of the time, so she hadn't been completely incorrect about it. Overall, not a terrible read, except the way that it read like stereo instructions. Maybe I can ask Anna to help me muddle through it, she thought as she stepped into class. And then it hit her again that she was entirely new, and didn't know anyone, and didn't know how seating worked here, and didn't know where to sit, and didn't if someone would yell at her if she sat where they normally sat and-
Hollis wasn't going to let early mornings catch him looking anything less than fine. So, dressed in his signature of some glowing outfit- this time it was along the lines of a tux -he took a seat somewhere in the forgettable middle of the room. He looked grumpy as ever. Just because he wanted to defeat mornings didn't mean that he didn't hate them with a burning passion.

Caspian casually walks into the classroom and takes his usual seat near the window. He smirked seeing Alessandra and leaned back in his seat. Sometimes today, he hoped the whole school would have known about his little rumor by now. Saturday was at a standstill but Maria and her loudmouth friends would spread it soon enough.
Frank grumbles as he placed his head on his desk. He didn't want to be here right now. There were some days he was okay with getting up early and other days when it was complete hell. This happened to be one of the bad days. To make it worse, he didn't get to eat breakfast which meant he was going to be rude and cranky.

(just want to see if there's anyone for Fiona to chew out besides Geoff.)
Fiona was running late. She had stayed in the gym to work out a bit more after releasing Class A from drills, which had gone about as well as could be expected. There were a few noticable absences that she'd have to see to, but everyone else seemed to be okay with the current situation. She'd ended up staying longer than expected and had just had enough time for a quick shower before realizing class was about to start. Hair still soaking from the shower, Fiona quickly grabbed her books and took off down the dorm hallway, skidding around corners and leaping down flights of stairs in her desperate rush to make it to class.
Geoff was still sleeping in his bedroom. His alarm clock was currently in a few pieces on the floor, with batteries scattered around the old digital clock. It was a Monday morning and he had no intention of being awake before at least nine, if not noon.
Jack and Anna had settled into their seats near the door, arguing softly. Jack was trying to convince Anna that if all of his muscles were strong, he should be able to eat metal, while Anna was trying desperately to keep him from attempting to prove this with a screw that had come loose from the desk. The pair playfully swatted at each other as Anna tried to grab it fro his hand, though his grip was far stronger than she was and they were at a stalemate. Grinning, Anna reached out, her hand a blur as she flicked his forehead with a surprising amount of force, then used the millisecond of distraction it provided to rip the screw from his hands, tossing it into the air in triumph.

((Haha, Ari would totally not go to the punishment drills x3))
Riandylan bounded into class, very much determined to grip onto a new start. With a brightly colored headband sporting a flower in her hair and a spring in her step, she bounced into a seat and tried to sit still, failing very much so as she looked around cheerfully.
Ari couldn't give a darn if he tried. He lied in bed for thirty minutes straight, considered skipping class in order to stare at the ceiling all day. He then got bored with that, and, upon realizing he would probably be bored if he were to lay in bed staring at the ceiling all day, decided to move his butt and get to class. He had already missed Fiona's punishment drills - he probably shouldn't get in too much trouble. Amazingly enough, he actually did want to stay in school for once - where else could one beat up monsters, after all. However, he did take his sweet time getting to class, just barely reaching the door moments before class started.

Looking around, people were generally chatting and messing around. Anything to stay awake in these early hours, she assumed. She bit her lip and headed towards the second to last row. She'd assume people would want the last row instead, so maybe this was a safe bet. She felt so stupid, overthinking this so much. Being the new kid, especially in a school like this, was not fun- not in the slightest. Tentiavily seating herself at the edge of the row, she gave a quiet sigh, crossed her arms on the desk, and laid her head down. First day of classes. Yay.

So it was then Gabriel found the first of his students. His eyes turned to Cassie, Ari, Caspian, and Frank. His lips pursed, taking his small head sweep over the other students before shifting his vest and gave a light sigh through his nose. Finding that all- but two (Gabriel only assumed one was sleeping)- of the students were present, he walked to the door and closed it. Once that was done, the teacher looked to the students and cleared his throat. His hands clasped at the small of his back, taking in a soft breath. "Students," his deep voice called out, and halting a few. When some of them didn't stop their antics, he plucked up a ruler- slapped it against the white board- and watched as the few dilly-dawdling students fell silent.
Eyes glinting, he set the object down and stood upright. "Now I have your attention, I am glad to finally introduce myself. I will be your morning class from here, to the end of your academy days. Whether be it you graduate this year, or until summer," he tilted his head, index finger pointing to the rules then. "Here are a few rules. I don't take kindly to distractions. No talking whilst the teacher is talking," and he paused at the last one written up. "And don't talk highly of yourselves. Just because you made it into the Class A ranking, does not mean you are as good as you may think you are. Everyone has room to improve. If you do not think so, well... We're going to have a hard time now aren't we?" he hummed aloud and gave a smile to the class.
Turning he shifted his stance and made his way to the other side. "As your teacher, I cannot stress enough how important it is to get homework done and in time. If the rumor is true and that every student here doesn't enjoy Class B's company, then I suggest that all of you get it done in time, and do it well," he sighed out quietly. He felt... bored himself. Turning his head, he let his gaze sweep over the class. "I'm assuming you have all said materials for my class. I do believe that it will be perfectly fine that you have everything- so I wont go over it. You do have eyes," he mused aloud. Taking a step to the middle of the white board, he stood facing the class and clasped his hands at the small of his back once again.
"Lets play a name game shall we? We can acquaint ourselves with those around us, and who we'll be living with for pretty much the rest of the time you're here. We'll begin with name, favorite weapon, and what you wish to do after the academy," he mused. Turning, he stared to Ari. "How about you first?"

Ari slumped into the nearest seat and set his hand on his palm with his elbow on the desk, planning to rest a little more when the teacher abruptly snapped a ruler against the whiteboard, the sound startling him. He stared at the teacher, almost impressed, as he spoke. But then, he didn't expect the teacher to be pointing at him to go first. Oh geez, he hated being put on the spot. He very pointedly avoiding anybody's gaze and stared at his hands on his desk. "Ari," he grumbled at his fingers. "Don't have one. Yet." He tilted his head to one side. "Don't know, don't care at the moment." He looked up at Gabriel almost challengingly.

Fiona sprinted down the hall, seeing the door click shut in the distance. Not that it was much of a barrier. She skidded to a stop outside of it and flung the door open, stepping in to look over the class. Her hair was still sopping wet from the shower, with water dripping from her ponytail, but at least she didn't smell like she had after her workout. She strode over to her seat, glancing around the classroom for those who had skipped. Geoff was still noticeably absent, but Ari and Frank were both there. She gave both a sharp look, but chose to wait until after class before going after the pair. Instead, she sat in her seat near the back, stretching her long legs out in front of her and observing the class carefully.

Ari turned in his seat to see Fiona stride in a few seconds late, unable to hold back a snrk!. He froze up at her glance in her direction, and then relaxed when she went to her seat. Welp. Looks like she noticed his absence at her drills. Oh well, he'll probably manage to hide from her once class was over.

Gabriel didn't say anything about the remark, and simply watched Fiona and gave a subtle nod of greeting to her. A quiet sigh through his nose, he drifted his gaze back to Ari. "I would hope you would learn to have a favorite weapon. That weapon will be your comrade in arms when you're alone in the wilderness, and because you'll be comrade in arms, we must hope you know every skill and trick with said weapon," he mused before he let his gaze travel farther.
"Miss Fiona? Would you care to go next?" he asked kindly, giving a nice gesture for her to speak if she wished. He knew better than to force the students to speak. His lips pursed, eyes glinting for a moment before he stepped off to the side. He would let the class take over- and with the class leader there, he knew they shouldn't act out. However, he had been wrong before, so he had a good 50/50 chance.

Fiona sat up, then slowly drew herself to her feet and made her way to the front of the classroom. She stood in the center, putting her hands on her hips as she gave them a confident smile, "I'm pretty sure you all know me and by that I mean I'm entirely sure you all know me, but there's no harm in reintroduction. Fiona McCabe, your humble leader. Best with a spear, but I can still kick every one of your asses with nearly anything else." There was a soft, warm tone in her voice and she played it up slightly, taking a superhero pose before relaxing and leaning back against the wall, "And as for after Bermuda Bay, I intend on remaining with the Hunter's League in order to protect humanity from all those asshats in the woods." She really didn't see why this was necessary, they'd all known each other for at least a year or so, but perhaps there was something that Gabriel wanted to do with this, so she played along, "Alrighty, who's up next? First one to volunteer does less laps next practice."

Frank decided to raise his hand/ He figured he might as well get this over with. Frank lifted up his head nd forced himself not to look like he was ready to kill someone. He waited for the teacher to allow him to stand up.

[ your benevolent overlord has returned ]
[ also its like the beginning of the new semester, so totally not weird for an introduction ]
It was only the beginning of the day, and already Piper was feeling tired. He'd spent most of Sunday sleeping, when he wasn't thinking of stuff to fluff up his report with, but he still felt like total crap. It didn't help that the teacher wanted to play this name game, and that it was inevitable it would circle around to him. Even though he'd been promoted to leader before school had truly begun, he was sitting in the back in his usual spot, where he could blend into the background. It helped out especially now, considering he could hardly keep his eyes open, just barely propping his chin up on his hand.
Stile slipped into class behind Lilah just as things were getting started, and visibly cringed at her question. He'd spent awhile trying to sort through the events of his brief encounter with Seven, and honestly it had kind of been a mess. Or rather, Stile had been a hot mess. A shiver tickled his spine at the thought of the stupid shit he'd done and said, and he was looking dejected already. Perhaps a new record. "Errrr let's not talk about that."
Wisteria inched into the seat beside Hollis without a word, slapping her bag quite loudly onto the desk in front of her. She didn't look quite as polished as usual, with her bangs hanging free in front of her face for once, but they did well to hide the rather intense burning anger in her eyes. The rest of her looked quite calm, but her expression could quite literally kill a man. Pulling out a notebook casually, she leaned back in her seat and tapped a pen to her lips, as if curiously observing the class.

*Bows down*)
Frank rises to his feet and crosses his arms over his chest. "Name is Frank Armstrong and I have two favorite weapons. One happens to be a double edged medieval battle ax and the other is a silver and black ax that looks modern and is easy to swing around." He said looking awake since he was talking about his axs. "After Bermuda, I will most likely be a bodyguard or a hit-man depending on who pays me." He had another venture, but didn't dare tell the class about it.
