Lilah's usual mood was not going to be dampened by a death. She had never been a huge fan of Risher anyways. Lilah may not have been a saint, but Risher was something else. Ew. She wouldn't say she was happy he was probably dead, but she wasn't going to sob about it. No, rather she was more concerned about the fallout of his disappearance within the two Classes. Which meant she needed some distractions. Stuffing chips into her mouth, the girl sauntered into the cafeteria, then proceeded to sit beside Stile. She eyed the leaves, took a deep breath, then turned to him. "What the [fungus] are you doing?"
Oh boy. Cassie stared down the first hallway she was faced with. The entire school seemed to be nearly empty, which was a little eerie. To go from a perfectly normal school to this was... a little shocking, to say the least. It was like all the color and life had been drained from the place. Considering she would learn how to slaughter monsters here, the entire tone was humdrum, she supposed that was a given. Biting her lip, she headed down the hallway towards the cafeteria. She was pretty sure. Being a newbie, she had been living there for about a week, yet still found herself lost from time to time. She would have asked people for directions but honestly, everyone seemed so on edge. There were whispers of some kid who had gone missing. Would have been nice to get the full story, though for now she would suffice on eavesdropping and try to made any wrong move to upset any of these kids. No training? Yeah, she'd be dead within a minute.

[ she looks fine to me c: welcome, my dude ]
Piper kept his eyes fixed on the keycard, using muscle memory to lead him back to his room, only stopping when he noticed that there were two people in front of him. Two people he really did not want to see right now. Pausing midstep at the front of the hallway, Piper finally dragged his gaze up from the card and saw Anna and Jack. After a moment of standing there in surprise, his mouth fallen open into an O shape, he spun around on his heel as fast as he could, hoping they weren't going to pay any attention to him. I'm actually dead-
Stile nearly choked on the popsicle in his mouth at Lilah's voice, sitting up straight to look at her, brushing leaves off his hands. He pulled the popsicle aside and grinned at her, swiping his hand across the table in one swift casual gesture, the bits of leaves falling on the floor. "Reading your fortune!" he teased with a dramatic wiggle of his fingers before leaning over and snatching a chip from her. "You stress-eating again? Rude, I thought we did that together. It's stuffy as hell in here. You heard anything new?"

Seven hated when his face was against the floor. However, given the fact he spent a lot of time sparring with his brother, it was becoming a very familiar feeling. Managing to tap out, he felt a weight lift off of him as Geoff stood and sat up slowly, feeling a familiar ache where Geoff's knee had been slammed into his back. Honestly, it was a rare day when he didn't have several bruises from training. Glancing up at his older brother, Seven let out a prolonged groan, "Can we please be done now?" They'd been at it since classes let out for the day and he was ready to actually enjoy his free time for once.
Geoff glared down at his younger brother, hands on his hips. He'd really been hoping for a little more training. It was under the guise of improving Seven's skills, so he could keep up with the rest of the class, but he also enjoyed kicking the excrement out of his little brother every once in a while. Reaching down, he lifted Seven to his feet, then promptly took a swing at him. It was a good thing Seven was expecting something along that lines and ducked under the blow, otherwise it would've been a nasty uppercut. Geoff smirked and pulled his brother in close, practically dragging him towards the door, "At least you lasted more than an minute before eating floor. Maybe you won't die tomorrow after all." to which Seven replied with a dramatic eyeroll as he pulled free of his brother's embrace.
Fiona stood just outside the cafeteria, fingers running over the card in her pocket. What a day. Risher's disappearance had caused quite a stir and while she could admit the other student was effective, she was far from sad that he was being replaced by a much more reasonable fellow. Still, it was a hectic time and would probably be far more so for the new kid. As Class Leader, she'd been informed in advance of the arrival of a new member of Class A, though she couldn't have come at a worse time. Pushing off from the wall, she checked the time and began to stroll down the hall towards the main doors. The kid should be arriving soon, which meant she needed to be greeted and welcomed to the violence.

Lilah's brow furrowed. Her future? Yeah, sure. She was pretty sure Stile was more focused on making sure her past didn't get lost. The future was easy to remember. She gave him a little hiss, clutching the bag of chips closer to herself. "It's not stress-eating, idiot. It's called... Normal... Eating." She squinted. Obviously that home fell flat. With a shake of her head, she continued, "Nothing yet. I bet Wisteria will have all the juicy details soon, though. We could go hunting for her, if you want, I guess."
Cassie hummed queitly, seeing as no one was around, and primarily to just give herself a little bit of noise instead of the unsettling hum of the lights above. She couldn't helped the vague grimace on her lips. This really was weird, a little creepy, eugh- she didn't like it. Was it cold? Maybe that was just her head, but she could have sworn it was pretty chilly in here. She sighed, wishing she had brought a jacket or something as she approached the entrance of the cafeteria. At least eating would probably warm her up. Hearing only a few voices from within, she continued to think it so strange how few kids actually attended the school, at least compared her to previous place of education.

As usual, Skylar was sitting by herself in the cafeteria, which suited her just fine. Class As were rich snobs. A lot of class Bs were mutant monster freaks. Skylar was neither. Go figure. The story of the missing class B leader had reached her ears, of course-- there wasn't a student that went here that didn't know. She hadn't known him at all, really, but she still found herself curious as to what had come of him. Where is he? What happened to him? Did he run away? Did someone kill him? The questions raced through her mind as she sat, pencil in hand, trying to get some homework done, though she knew that the noise levels in the cafeteria would make that impossible.

Anna glanced over as she heard footsteps approaching from down the hall. Upon seeing Piper, she nearly turned away before a small object in his hands caused her to do a double take. She didn't get a good look before he turned away and practically began to run down the hall, but she didn't need to. She had an aching suspicion that she knew exactly what that was in his hands and she pushed off of the wall. In a blur of motion that caught her brother by surprise, she dashed past Piper and stopped a few feet in front of him, arms folded and eyes narrowed, "Hello Piper. What's that you've got?"
Jack, started by Anna's sudden burst of speed, slowly meandered over, hands shoved into his pockets. Stopping just behind Piper, he reached forwards and rested a hand on the younger student's shoulder. He wasn't quite sure what was going on, but he knew his sister extremely well. One look at her face told him she was ready to kill someone and apparently Piper was her newest target. He wasn't sure quite why though. Sure, Piper was a quiet, meek little kid who seemed like he'd fit in well with the upper-crust of Class A, but the kid was at least nonthreatening. Still, if Anna was angry, she probably had a really solid reason and he was going to back her up.

Ethan Fawcett ; 18 ; male ; class A Ethan is a strong-built boy that stands at 5,9. He has a tan to his skin and hazel eyes that shine green sometimes. Ethan has short black hair that is always very neat (as in, not messy) and slightly thick eyebrows as well. The boy is kind of shy and doesn't usually talk or open up to people at all. Even though it might be hard to talk to him, if you give him a chance (and if you have lots of patience and isn't affected by awkwardness) he can be really nice to hangout with. Ethan cares a lot about others, specially his few friends. He also has a minimalist tattoo of an anchor on his shoulder. Lychee
Samantha Rubble ; 19 ; Female ; class B Samantha is a slim girl standing at 6,0. She has a very elegant feel to her because of her posture and grace. The girl has straight black hair that goes just a bit below her shoulders and icy blue eyes that stare deep into your soul and gives of a menacing feeling. Samantha is very serious and stubborn and she has never been seen laughing or smiling at all. Even though she is grumpy and has a sharp tongue, Samantha likes to be around people and secretly has a fear of being alone. Her mutation is the poison contained in her nails. A simple scratch can cause serious infection. other Lychee

Considering Anna's speed, Piper shouldn't have even bothered trying to run, but he had really been leaning on the off-chance that they wouldn't have even noticed him in the first place. It wasn't like he usually did anything to garner attention, this time shouldn't have been any different. Except, of course, recent circumstances kind of put him in a very dangerous place, like sandwiched in between the two most dangerous kids at school. He gripped the keycard tightly in his hand and forced a sheepish smile on his face, trying to cram it into his pocket. "This? Oh, it's nothing-" he insisted, nearly jumping out of his skin when Jack grabbed his shoulder. There was literally no way he could fight his way out of this situation- he'd never sparred against them before, Risher babied the hell out of him, and he'd only observed the two, one more than the other. A look of guilt began to sneak it's way into his expression as he tried to shrug out of their hold on him. "It's just something I'm..borrowing."
Stile raised an eyebrow at her and snorted, reaching for the bag of chips again with a mischevious look. "Normal eating does not involve hoarding chips from their best bud!" he insisted, trying to swipe the bag from her and also not fall off the bench. "Eh, that would require mingling with the A kids, and Geoff always gives us a dirty look when we even breathe in his direction and Fiona scares me," he pointed out, finally snatching a chip from her and popping it in his mouth with a triumphant grin. Seeing movement at the cafeteria's doors, he was surprised to find an unfamiliar face. He'd forgotten about the new freshman, and elbowed Lilah not-so-subtly, gesturing to the girl with a nod of his chin. "Check it out."

(I've got an early morning tomorrow feeding the fur beasts. G'night!)
Anna's fingers began to drum against her arm once more, never breaking eye contact. She slowly reached out, extending her open hand towards him in a very clear gesture. He may have had a couple of inches on both of them, but a size difference alone wasn't enough to intimidate her. There was very little that could, especially when she had backup from her brother. With no trepidation or hesitation in her voice, she spoke rather softly, "Let me see, Piper."

[ night dude! tell ur fur beasts i said hey ]
Piper stared down at Anna's hand, chewing on his bottom lip as he fought to make a decision. He didn't have anyone to hide behind anymore, and he really didn't think now was the best place to assert himself. Anger flared underneath his tempered instincts, but he bottled it up and saved it for another time. Of all people to get in a fight with, it would not be Anna or Jack. After another moment of clenching the keycard tight in his fist, he finally pulled it free from his pocket and opened his hand to show her, bracing himself mentally and physically. It had a little photo of him on it, and was an obvious sign of who they chose. "Look, I didn't want it-"

Lilah swatted Stile on the back of the head. How dare he steal her food! This was her precious life source! At his indication, she glanced towards the new girl. Short. Blonde. Bland. "She looks boring." The student paused, then squinted. "Which is... weird. What's someone like that doing here?" Lilah had heard the new kid was Class A, and though she knew Stile wasn't ever a fan of them, the girl looked pretty lost. Not to mention, what kind of a social butterfly would she be if she didn't say hello. Standing up, she cupped a hand around her mouth and waved the other in the air. "HEY. HEY NEW KID. COME OVER HERE!"
Cassie hesitated as she stepped into the cafeteria. Oh god. Immediately she spotted faces turning towards her. It made sense that everyone here knew each other, so anyone new sort of upset the balance. Even if it made sense, it didn't make her feel any more comfortable. And then someone was yelling at her. Wide brown eyes snapped towards two people seated at their own table. The girl looked overly enthusiastic, which certainly couldn't hurt. The guy on the other hand... Taking a deep breath, she steeled herself and headed on over. "Hello...!"

Anna looked down at the little key card in his hand, dumbfounded. They'd done it, they'd really done it. They'd passed over her in favor of him and the reason why was obvious. Piper's Class A connections were more than she had and he was a purely political choice. Before he could even finish that sentence, her hand latched onto the front of his shirt and twisted around to try to slam him into the wall. Bringing her face close to his, she hissed through gritted teeth, "I'm sure you protested their choice, Piper. It must have been so hard to be given leadership you've done nothing to deserve."

Ethan sat in the cafeteria, he chose a table as close to the corner as possible and sat down. Taking a bite out of his peanutbutter and jelly sandwich, the boy looked around observing the different types of people. The were all kinds of them, mutants and humans, older and younger and even people from places around the world he wouldn't guess existed. He turned his attention to the mutants. Sure, he was in Class A and he was a human, but it was interesting to see the diffeerent abilities they gained and he knew he was one of the only ones in Class A that had respect for them. After all, they were still people, they were just different.
Samantha's finger nervously drummed the table. She bit the end of her pencil and looked at the white sheet of paper before starting to draw something. She didn't know what it was, she was just drawing without a purpose. What was before a scribble, started to turn into a spider. When she got to the legs, she started having some trouble, it just wouldn't come out right, no matter how hard she tried. Frustrated, Samantha crumbled up the piece of paper and threw it in the trash, deciding to go for a walk.

Piper flinched as Anna grabbed him, his head knocking back against the wall painfully as she slammed him into it with a bit more aggression than he'd prepared himself for. Well, so much for trying to deal with this calmly. He sucked in a breath of surprise, blinking down at her. He didn't really have anyone to hide behind at the moment, so sticking up for himself was the only option unless he wanted an early death. Maybe catching them by surprise would make it easier. Twisting his head to the side, he bared his teeth at Anna and aimed a knee to her gut. "I can't do anything about blackmail, Anna!" he hissed, trying to wrench himself free.
Stile let out a tiny yelp and made a sad face at Lilah, rubbing the back of his head. "Rude!" he muttered, flicking his gaze back at the new kid. Lilah was right, the girl didn't really look like much, especially for a Class A kid. Sure, there were certain kids in Class A that never looked like much anyways, like that Skylar girl, but this was really setting the bar low. A frown made it's way onto his face and he grabbed Lilah's arm in protest as she shouted across the room, sinking low in his jacket and hoping everyone else kept their eyes away from the commotion. "Dude wtf??" he hissed to her, glancing up only when the new girl approached. So much for staying out of Class A business. "Ugh."

Cassie was starting to think this had been a bad decision. The girl seemed fine, but the guy looked less than happy. Actually, he looked like he wanted to be anywhere else but here. Of course she knew about the divide between Class A and Class B, but surely it wasn't this bad, right?
Lilah leaned halfway across the table, arms crossed and a wide grin across her face. She kicked Stile under the table, shooting him a quick look to be friendly. "So you're the newbie, yeah? Don't really know how anything works? So how do you like it? Or I guess, do you like it at all? Have you met everyone here? How much training have you done? If people give you weird looks, just ignore them. It's just that you don't really look like someone who would survive more than a day out here."
The new girl was left starting between the two. Okay, maybe it would be better to talk to the guy after all. There wouldn't be so many questions rapid fire. She cleared her throat, chewing her lip for a moment as she thought. Didn't look like someone who would last? Yeah, that was about accurate. "Well... It's definitely different from what I'm used to. And it's uh, I mean, no, I haven't really met everyone. People have been looking pretty on edge so I've kind of avoided talking. In general. And... Was I supposed to have some sort of training before coming here?"

(Oh god, Cassie's going to die.)
Anna had been prepared for him to cower, maybe do a little pleading. Piper wasn't exactly known for his courage and getting him to step down should have been a breeze. The knee to her gut, however, wasn't something she'd anticipated and she let out a surprised grunt as air was forcibly expelled from her chest. Taking a half-step back, she forced herself to rein in her emotions, the anger disappearing from her face to be replaced by a cold, impassive expression. Reaching out, she lightly straightened his shirt where her hand had been gripping it moments before, speaking softly and slowly, "I'm sure we can find a way to remove you from the position you were forced to take. In fact, it'd be my pleasure."
Jack watched this all go down, teeth grinding in frustration. Apparently they weren't going to just finish this here and now, as much as he'd love to. But apparently Anna seemed to think that wasn't a good idea. Still, he wasn't going to be taking any orders from the kid. Stepping out from behind Anna, he silently pointed a finger at Piper, then drew it across his neck in a clear gesture. It always looked so intimidating in movies, he just couldn't help himself.

[ she's gonna be fineeeeeee dont worryyy ]
Piper eyed Anna warily as she stepped back, clenching his fist tightly around the keycard in his hand. Seeing the calm expression on her face wasn't a good sign, and he knew that he really should have shut his stupid mouth, but he was already on a roll. Not a good time for a rebellious streak, Naviaux. "Oh remove me from the position, huh? Just like you did to Risher, I bet," he spat, knowing all too well it probably wasn't true, but he wanted to see if she would react. It was a low blow considering her and Jack were practically his best friends, but it was obvious how much she wanted that power. Pressing off the wall and taking a step forward, he glanced over at Jack and raised an eyebrow at him, following the gesture with a blank expression. A tingle of fear slid up his spine, yet he found himself fighting the urge to laugh. "Try it."
Stile made a face at Lilah, grumbling something to himself before crossing his arms over his chest, eyeing the new girl warily. Of course leave it to Lilah to overload the newbie with every question in the book. At least maybe she'd scare her away and he wouldn't have to talk to her. Although he had to admit he felt a bit bad seeing the confused and worried look on her face. He shook his head at her and waved a hand dismissively. "Eh, if you didn't have any they'll just plunge you into the tough stuff head first," he explained, not exactly trying to sugarcoat it. "I hope you're good at runnin'"

Anna didn't react. The accusation was honestly a fair one. She could imagine how one might look at herself and her brother and think that they had something to do with this. She turned to go, reaching out to touch her brother's shoulder.
Jack was far more insulted. Fists clenched, he took a threatening step towards Piper, "Buzz off, before I put my fist through your skull." Anna's touch on his shoulder was enough of a reminder that they weren't doing this now and he reluctantly turned away. But come hell or high water, he was going to give that smug jerk exactly what he deserved.

Cassie blinked. Well. Wasn't this just uplifting. A nervous laugh spilled form her lips as she shifted uncomfortably. "Oh. Well, I mean, they can't do anything too awful, right? Because I think I'd die pretty quick, and that's not really good for business." She cleared her throat, frowning. "Uh, by the way, could you two explain to me what the heck is making everyone so..." Unsure exactly how to describe it, she simply gestures to the other students in the cafeteria.
Lilah's brow raised, glancing towards Stile, silently suggesting he hop in any time he wants. "Well, see, there's this dude. Name's Risher, and he used to be the leader for Class B. And then- poof. Went missing."

[ i M CRYING ]
Piper narrowed his eyes at Anna once, tucking the keycard in his pocket and brushing himself off. "Go ahead, I dare you," he sneered at Jack, mouth pulled into a sharp-toothed grin. Okay maybe taunting the guy with super strength was not a smart idea, but the words just kind of came out of his mouth. This kind of attention on him made his heart thud in chest, and he hated to think that it was thrilling. Standing there for another second watching them leave, he let out a weary sigh once they were out of sight. "I'm so dead," he muttered with a shake of his head, walking to his room. At least Wisteria would be thrilled.
"Have you seen Fiona yet? I'm sure she'll help you," Stile added with a light shrug, knowing the Class A leader was only sweet on her classmates. He drummed his fingers on his arm as he listened to Lilah explain, letting out a short laugh. Maybe it was a little insensitive, the guy had been a good leader, but everyone was a little too hopeful about his fate. "Yeah, he just up and disappeared one day. I'd say he's probably dead," he interjected, raising a finger. "Anyways, he had quite a few people like and hate him, and now they're filling the new position so things are a little tense, as you'd expect."

Anna lead the way towards her room. Flinging the door closed behind her, she spun towards Jack and crossed her arms, "He's got to go." There was no need for Jack to respond. The two were always on the same page and this was no different.
