Gabriel Krusen
Watching her turn and snap like that made his blood bubble a small bit. He simply watched, neck craning slightly and leaning forward to watch her. "You got one thing right. Which is trusting in their own abilities to fight," he stated lowly as he looked at her. Serene hues were blazing at her, though a hint of respect was there. Any other staff member would be reeling and screeching about how bad of a class A student she was- but he was different.
"We had a small hiccup. Thats what this is. Team work, yes you're right, wasnt there. Its not trust in each other, its more of a family concept to believe in your abilities and your team's abilities. Not trust- but believe, a faith." He licked his lips for a moment, muscles relaxing from their tense spot. "I'm just saying, dont overheat on them. If you can show that we're not such jerks to Class B, we could have allies on the battle field. You get it?"
With that, he nudged her with his shoulder. "Theyre here. Enforce what you said, but just dont scream it out. We have plenty of time to do that back at campus. Plus you could make em do chores or whatever there," with that a small glint of amusement lit his face before it straightened back to the stoic position it held
Alessandra Cusmano
"Why yes, i would go out with you," she stated proudly as she nudged him playfully in return and gave a light hearted giggle. Moving her way after him, she nearly got lost, but the tall man simply helped as she managed to keep an eye out for his light colored hair. Coming to a stop, she plopped on a crate and gave a yawn, rubbing an eye and flipping up her hood.
She watched silently, soon taking a glance up to the leader. She wondered what he was gonna talk about, review maybe. Either way, it sparked in curiosity when she saw the teacher in a low conversation with the leader of Class A. Her nose twitched for a moment, hands tucking into her sleeves and giving a crooked smile. "Okay Piper~ whats the group topic today?" She asked while casually swinging her legs

Piper snorted again and gave her a dismissive wave, choosing to leave that comment for another time. Now that the adrenaline had begun to fade, his thigh had begun to burn painfully. He clenched his fist in the fabric of his pants and cleared his throat, eyeing the rest of Class B in hopes that they would hurry their butts over to him. He didn't expect much, but the least they could do was listen to him this one time. Shooting Alessandra a look, he leaned back against the wall of the lighthouse and tilted his chin up, trying to appear at least slightly confident in his words. "I'm proud of you, those who stayed behind to fight. You really gave Class A a run for their spotlight, which doesn't exactly come easy. This patrol was a partial success, thanks to your efforts. Did anyone else find any evidence before we have to go?"
Stile was still in a tiny bit of a daze as Lilah hugged him in her crushing grip, slowly blinking and realizing what was going on before grabbing her by the shoulders and shaking her. "WHY THE EVERLOVING HELL DID YOU GO OFF AND DO THAT??" he hissed, in as loud a volume he could manage without absolutely shouting at her. His weird little doting expression quickly faded as he went full-on lecture mode. "Do you know what you did to my fragile heart, Lilah?? I might never recover!!"

Anna and Jack stood among Class B. While Jack was too busy trying to get some blood out from under his fingernails, Anna was listening attentively. The mention of Class A's failure to actually perform caused her to smile slightly. Anything that showed up those brats was worth it in her book. She wasn't going to deny that being considered a second-class citizen got under her skin. She knew for a fact that she could take on any member of Class A and mop the floor with them, hell, any mutant of Class B probably could. But their gifts meant they were treated like something less and while Anna certainly wasn't happy with the situation, she could handle it. After all, Anna loved a long game.
Fiona spoke up as the class gathered around, her eyes sweeping the crowd. Her tone was soft, almost conversational at first, "You know what, I like leading you guys. Honestly, I couldn't be more proud of you when we're all working together. We have the capacity to be a well-oiled machine, with nothing that can stand in our way." Pushing off from the wall, she took a step towards the assembled crowd, her entire face hardening as her voice rose just a little, "It's a pity that today my class ran. Fled. Poof." Perhaps the little poof motion she made with her hands wasn't the most intimidating gesture ever, but she was trying to get the point across. "Instead, do you know who fought?" Her voice hissed through her teeth, quieter so as to not be overheard, "Those mutts from Class B. Piper, those twin freaks, half their fricking class defeated that horde by my side. While Class A, the cream of the freaking crop, RAN!" Spinning on her heel, she paced in front of them for a moment, fists clenching at her side, "And I don't know about you all, but I hate being shown up by the very creatures we're supposed to be better than! So," she turned to face them once more, her eyes burning into each and every one of them, "until you all can face a challenge instead of fleeing like children, we're running an extra hour of drills before breakfast and two more hours after dinner. Mandatory, for each and every one of you." She felt a small pang of guilt for those who had actually stayed, but there was no doubt in her mind that Cassie and Seven could certainly use extra practice. As for Caspian, she'd go a little easy on him. He didn't need it, nor should he be punished, but singling him out for special treatment was not the way to go right now.

Lilah groaned as she was shaken around. She reached up and grabbed Stile's hands on her shoulders, squeezing them reassuringly. "But look!! Look at me! I'm a little dirty and could use a rest for these aging, aching bones- but I'm fine! Okay? Solid, one-hundred percent, not-incorporeal." That fleeting moment of sincerity, or as sincere as she got, she twisted out of his grip and nudged her friend with an elbow. "And did you see? I fought with Fiona! We were like- what's the word?" She snapped her fingers while she thought. It was practically impossible for Lilah to talk in a manner that wasn't extremely animated. "Ah, forget it, let's just go with: team. And she like, complimented me! And hugged me! And- god Stile, I really can't be sure if I'm alive if that all actually happened." She sighed wistfully, waiting just a beat before spinning back around and passing a few people to hear what Piper had to say, before Stile could get a word in about "fraternizing with the enemy."
Cassie listened attentively, eyes still widened. Now, however, it was partly due to imagining these extra drills. Not that she had ever attended any training here at all, so she had no clue how bad this was... Actually, it was probably much better that she hadn't experienced normal yet, so once she did, it was seem much easier. "Yes sir- ma'am, Uhm..." Oh. Cassie glanced around as her voice trailed off. No one else was saying that or... She fidgeted nervously, a nervous laugh escaping her lips. She hated being new and not knowing how anything worked, or what was to be expected. It was the worst feeling.

((Holy cow I went through the entire monster attack without interacting with a single person ^.^'' i'm so good at this))
There were many things that could be going through Ari's head at Fiona's speech. That's not fair! was one. Wow so much love for Class B was another. But really, the only thing burning through his mind is OW with a plenty of swearing to match the feelings of pain biting into him. He clutched at his arm and tried to stand normally. He blinked rapidly, really, really wanting to throw up. Well, at least he had a distraction. "Wow, that was embarrassing," he called over to the girl who responded like a soldier to a general. He would've laughed if he hadn't been sure he would've fainted at the effort.

Caspian remained calm during the speech. He figured extra laps couldn't hurt. Besides, he could run pretty fast, and extra exercise would help with his figure. He glanced around observing everyone's reactions. Some looked ashamed while others seemed to look displeased. Caspian almost expected someone to challenge Fiona. Then again, challenging her would be a big mistake. Would be fun to watch. Mmmm maybe I should save that for a slow day.

Listening to her speech, made him a bit happy in the beginning. Until... The teacher put his face in his hands, silently groaning at the fact of what she did. This was going to be a long day now wasnt it? He rubbed his eyes with his fingers, and he soon stood up fully after the spiel. He had no words, none at all. In fact, when he decided to join Fiona's side, all he could do was spare her a glance.
"This isnt expressing the need of team work," he rumbled quietly and a bit grumpily before he shifted his crossbow and ruffled his hair.
Alessandra Cusmano
The Italian watched the little group from her spot, humming lightly and tilting her head curiously. She spotted a few familiar faces around, but not a whole lot. Her lips pursed and azure eyes shifted constantly until she spared a look up at Piper once again. He was a good leader; maybe the rumors about him being incompetent weren't true. Her locks were over her shoulders, being cascaded in a small trickle of brown like 'waterfall'.

Piper swept his gaze across the group of students, considering them for a moment as he waited. It was hard trying to figure out what to say to them that wouldn't piss them off, but he thought he was doing a good job so far. At the moment, he couldn't stop thinking about the report he'd have to write up afterwards- one if the many undesirable parts of this position, in his mind at least. Narrowing his eyes slightly, he lifted his hand in a dismissive wave, mouth curling in the faintest hint of a smile. "If that's all, then I think you deserve a little reward for knocking Class A down a peg. You all have the rest of the weekend off," he explained with a slight nod in the direction of those who had stayed behind. "Keep this up. We're leaving in 5."
Stile just scoffed, crossing his arms over his chest. "Oh, so you got to have a flirty date fight while I got shot in the face!! Awesome! Im so happy for you!" he called after her in a bitterly sarcastic tone, trying to keep the pout from looking too obvious on his face. He didn't like the fact that the CA leader was taking up all her attention, and as selfish as it sounded in retrospect, he probably wouldn't let it go. All it did was add fuel to the hate fire. Chewing on his lip, he shook his head at her, pointing his gaze down at his feet and tuning out whatever the stupid leader was saying. He couldn't bring himself to care right now.

hey hey hey)
Fiona felt the teacher's presence at her side and tried not to let her frustration grow. She had never been particularly fond of the administration at the academy, particularly this aspect. The team leaders were supposed to have the majority of the control over their respective classes, but it was hard to maintain any sort of authority when there was constantly a teacher whispering unwanted advice in her ear. She felt as though every time he opened his mouth for a comment, it was just another chip taken off the foundation she'd spent so long building. Granted, her current irritation with her class certainly wasn't putting her in a receptive mood either. She'd have to chat with him a little later, once they were in private. Raising her voice and sending a slight glare in Ari's direction at his rather misguided comment, she addressed class A once more, "Take five, then we move out." Without waiting for comments, she strode through the crowd, moving towards where Class B was gathered to try and catch Piper's eye. They needed to plan how to tackle the return trip, considering how well the first leg of the mission had gone.

Gotta live up to that pic hm?
Cassie's face flared up red when Ari spoke, grumbling quietly as she dragged herself over to the wall. Was it too much to ask to simply meld into nothingness right now?
Lilah listened to Piper's short speech, a smirk finding its way to her lips. Always nice to prove that Class B was just as capable, if not more so, than "top of the class" A kids. Concerning Stile's mention of getting shot, she turned towards him, face all twisted up and brows furrowed. "Shot in the face?! What do you mean?" Only now did she notice that the blood on his face was more of a dark red than it was black. "Oh shoot- are you okay?"

To say the least, Alessandra got up, and briefly brushed Piper as she moved. "Aye, meet me at 6 tonight- near the library or whatever that is. I'd like you to know you better," she told him, having cast a flirty wink up at him before she paused. Like a cat with hackles raised, her azure gaze narrowed on Fiona before the female skedaddled off and wriggled through the group to her escape. She managed to brush by a few new faces, and cast a look in the other's directions. She came to a pause at the lighthouse entrance, hearing Mr. Krusen sigh as he slowly exit through the doorway and step outside to keep watch. Her own light gaze flicked about, hoping to at least make a couple friends while everyone was gathered, but it seemed they all... already knew each other. Giving a quiet sigh her nose scrunched up in brief distaste before she slowly scuffled in her spot

Yay, I can sit for five minutes, Ari thought, hobbling over to sink against the wall. What he really wanted to do was curl up and die, though that would be embarrassing. He decided to concentrate on breathing, highly aware of just how dry his mouth was, how dizzy he felt, the prickle of numbness itching at the fingers of his bleeding arm. His jacket sleeve was soaked. He probably should have guessed a swarm of monsters could do that. He was starting to wish he'd run like the rest of Class A instead of staying to fight at the first sight of such a crowd. "Don't worry, pain is good," he reassured himself under his breath, lifting his head to rest it against the wall but instead bonking it painfully. "I love pain. I eat pain for brunch or whatever. Heh, wow, talking to myself, how pathetic." Am I just used to talking to Ree? he wondered. Jeez. I gotta get used to being alone all over again.
Riandylan shrank back to the edge of the crowd. I froze, he thought bitterly. I thought I was ready and I froze. He slumped against the wall, staring glumly at the floor.

For a long moment, Alessandra had drifted her attention to Ari. She slowly approached, her slender hand outstretching as she rested it kindly on his shoulder. "Hey... You look kinda bad. You okay?" She asked concernedly, brows creasing and the strong scent of lavender, herbs and spices overpowering the small area for a moment. "Well, not bad as in ugly, but bad as in you look... like you got.." her eyes traveled to his jacket sleeve and she pursed her lips. "Hurt." She cleared her throat, the short teen plopping beside him and bringing her hoodie down to blink at him. Her head tilted, bringing her legs to her chest and awaiting his answer kindly.
