here she is, my angry punk kid
Aiden W. Hamilton ; 19 ; Female ; Class B Tall and imposing, Aiden is an olive-skinned girl who stands at 5'11". Aside from her towering height, the girl is muscled and seems to be a heavy hitter. Her expression is usally angry, and her features don't help much in that case. Her eyes are a dark red color, sunken into her face a bit, topped with thick dark eyebrows and numerous facial piercings. She has plump lips, a 'ski jump' nose, and a buzzcut. On her left eyebrow, Aiden has a stud piercing, and on her lower lip, she has snakebite ring piercings and a labret piercing underneath. Her ears are heavily pierced as well, adorned with an industrial bar, lobe rings, studs, and spiked gauges. Aiden also wears some dark makeup smudged around her eyes. Unsurprisingly enough, Aiden is a "tough cookie." Hardheaded and overzealous, and rather mean to anybody she meets and knows. She's never backed down from a fight, and is normally the one who starts them more often than not. Aiden has a temper and some anger issues that she takes out on monsters in the battlefield. Aiden is not the brightest when it comes to school and academics. The girl does enough to scrape by and manages decent grades, but she's known to ditch class, and there are times where she barely shows up. It's a bad habit she has yet to break. Aiden is a troublemaker, and doesn't like authority figures very much. Neptune

Junko growled in frustration, limbs trembling as she faced off against the programmed training dummy. She had increased the level, and it was a challenge, but more so than it should have been. She should have slammed it to the ground already, but here she was, perched on the edge of a simulated tree limb. She didn't dare sheath her daggers, panting softly as she tried to reign in her anger long enough to think.

Piper squinted his eyes against the harsh light of the gunfire, bringing his hand up to shield them as he watched the monster screech and writhe in protest. It looked a lot worse in the morning day light, or what little of the sun made it through the thick clouds overhead. It's body seem to absent of color, of brightness, like a huge black void of a figure where the forest should be. It's skin moved and rippled like a current, tendrils twisting and rolling and combining. It's jaws snapped at the nearest combatant, eager to get it's teeth on whatever was going after it, although it's attention was diverted when Lilah landed a blow. Aside from the whole terrifying situation at hand, Piper was rather proud of Seven for taking the first shot, and at the others for being so proactive in their own safety. Except, more than one of them seemed a little too eager to fight the thing, and it was going to get too chaotic very fast. Pulling himself up to his feet, dragging Seven up with him, he was about to skirt the edge of the fight to make sure no one got hurt, when he heard something else. Another sound. Another smell. Oh f- With an ungraceful flourish, he gripped Seven's arm and yanked him along back up the hill. "Disengage! Run, RUN!!" And with his shout, a gang of smaller shapes dashed across the stream, heading towards group.
Stile looked largely unconcerned. At least, on the outside, because of course every time Lilah flung herself at anything remotely dangerous a part of him clenched a little. He just sort of shrugged and patted Cassie on the head like one might do to a small dog. "We're not gonna die, relax," he insisted with an inkling of a smile. Although they watched from a good distance, and he didn't feel too inclined to really help or in danger in any way, he caught eye of the rather large crowd of monsters that seemed to manifest from the trees. "Ooookay maybe that's a problem-"

Seven, far too invested in trying not to miss the beast and hit an ally, yelped in surprise as a hand wrapped around his arm and hauled him up. He nearly swung around to fire at what had grabbed him, but then he realized it wasn't a monster, just Piper. Stumbling as he tried to get his feet under him as he was unceremoniously hauled up the bank, Seven took a moment to glance back. That brief moment was enough to get him moving on his own as a veritable wave of creatures began to pour over the far bank. Scrambling up to the top, he spun around and crouched, using the elevation to fire down at the monsters in an attempt to cover those still in the bottom of the stream bed.
Fiona watched Lilah go, a pang of worry shooting through her. Glancing back at Stile and Cassie, she had nearly made her decision to stay back and try to flank the monster, which would hopefully keep the new kid out of harm's way. Then she saw Piper turn tail and run. Looking up, she saw shadows begin to appear along the top of the small rise and descend down towards the battle. And Lilah was in the thick of it. Looking back, she pointed a finger at Stile and Cassie, "High ground, regroup with the rest! Stile, stay with her!" Then, spear sparking to life, she sprinted into the thick of the fray, where she could see a familiar female figure going to work with her katars.
Anna and Jack watched from the hilltop. Jack couldn't help but grin at the sight of the chaos below, all he wanted was to be in the thick of it. But every time he made a move to go down there, he felt Anna's hand rest lightly on his arm, signalling him to wait. He wasn't patient enough for this, he wanted to get down there and start kicking some tail. Anna's gaze traveled over the battlefield, taking everything in at once. She counted out how many opponents she could see, took a moment to evaluate them all, then turned her attention to what the rest of the class was doing. Most were fleeing back out of the streambed, with one or two brave souls charging headlong into the fray. She just needed a few clear lines to that big beast, she knew she could take it down before it could even touch her. The problem was the other little ones would be too many to keep track of and chances are she'd end up colliding with something if she didn't get the clear shot she needed. Which is what Jack was for. Looking over, she gave him a slight slap on the back and he didn't hesitate. With a loud holler, he took off down the hill, barreling down the decline like a freight train and heading straight for the little beasties pouring down towards the ice.

Lilah wasn't frightened of monsters. She felt entirely safe, planning on taking on this massive beast. What she was afraid of was an entire army of tiny monsters. She didn't know what it was, but something about monsters being much smaller than her but still being much stronger weirded her out. Not to mention, they tended to travel in groups, and were very annoying. However, at this point in time, the huntress had already reached the momma monster and it was too late now. So, she just put her mind on auto pilot, aiming for anything that looked particularly soft, such as eyes, or feet, or the inside of its mouth. Which meant getting frightening close to its mouth, all the while beheading tinier monsters. The effort that this took was quickly wearing on her, obvious from her more labored actions and ragged grunting.
Cassie would have hissed like a cat and slapped Stile's hand away if it weren't for the fact that at the moment, the teasing was a lot more comforting than those things pouring down like very toothy oil. She gripped Stile's arm tightly, like it were her personal stress ball. Upon hearing Fiona's orders, the girl nodded dumbly, and spun on her heel to run far, far away from the danger. Inside, her natural instincts told her to stay and help Fiona, although she couldn't see how that could possibly go well when she had no training at all.

Fiona took on the smaller monsters headfirst, punting one halfway up the bank while slashing through two others. She slowly made her way towards where Lilah was soloing the big one like a boss. But Fiona was a class leader, it was her job to evaluate her classmates and all it took was a look to realize Lilah was getting drained by the smaller ones far too quickly. At this rate, she'd get dragged down by the little ones before the massive beast went down. So she took up a position just behind Lilah, calling out, "You focus on Big Bertha there, I'll handle the lil ones!" Spear gleaming, she spun it around and got to work. She didn't need to kill them one by one, just keep a perimeter around Lilah clear so she could do her work. She'd seen Lilah train, the girl could handle herself. She didn't need someone interfering, she just needed room to work.
Jack collided with one of the smaller monsters like a wrecking ball, tackling it to the ground. Pulling his pistol free of its holster, he used his free hand to smash the beast to the frozen ground. It was like trying to hold a greased pig, the shadowy little weasel thrashing in his grasp. But it didn't have the chance to get free. He fired a shot directly into it's chin and up through its head. Moving on to the next, he worked with brutal efficiency, swinging the smaller beasts around like toys and finishing them off with close-range shots from his gun. The entire time, he grinned like there was no better time to be had.

There were a lot more of the little monsters than Piper had anticipated. It looked a lot like they peeled away from the shadows of the trees, maybe even of some larger, lurking monster. Either way, they flooded over the stream and up the hill towards the other hunters, a good portion of them diverting their attention to those caught and actively fighting in the fray. But, none charged up towards him. In fact, it seemed even as if they purposefully skirted around him, didn't acknowledge his existence, only charging around him for those farther up the hill. He tried not to look too aware of it, eyes slightly wide as he practically waded through the monsters on his way down after making sure Seven made it up in one piece. He unsheathed his small sword from where it was strapped to his waist, light formed in the shape of a blade. As a person with one arm, it was far easier to use than the guns he'd become rather accustomed to. Turning the sword in his hand, he took aim at the littler monsters and cut them down where he could, trying to minimize the flow upward and gesture for people to head off the path, still towards the lighthouse. He skidded further down the hill towards the others who were fighting, trying to keep the littler ones off their back.
Stile gave Fiona a stiff nod, then rushed up the hill after Cassie, making sure to keep an eye on her. They had been far away enough from the struggle in the beginning that it wasn't likely the monsters would catch up, but he didn't want to take any chances and made sure to be speedy. Despite his projected laziness, he was quite athletic when it came to not stumbling flat on his face. He smacked Cassie's arm and gestured towards the rest of the group. "Stay in front of me."

Lilah's face was redder than usual, and she sort of regretted this decision. Seeing Fiona join her in the fight, two things passed through her mind. One was a want to protect her, but the other was a renewed desire to fight and, perhaps, show off little. Without have the small ones constantly tackling her, she could already feel her heavy breathing reinvigorating her body. She shot Fiona a wild-eyed smirk, "Hey thanks, Fi! Now... I'm feeling filet for dinner..." She, grossly lubricated in the blood of the small monsters, dove headfirst beneath the beast. Once on the other side, she scrambled to her feet and jumped up, digging the katars into the monster's limb as if they were climbing picks. Lilah had earned herself quite the reputation by "riding" the monsters, although she liked to argue that it was simply effective. After all, as soon as she could get to its head and neck, it was nighttime for the beast.
Cassie was worried. Very, very worried. There were so many of these tiny things rushing for the class. Weren't they all supposed to be hunters? Why weren't they hunting? This did not give her much hope for her own training! She turned to face Stile, eyes widening when she spotted one of the things hopping right for Stile's head. Without thinking, she raised the rifle and shot. By some miracle, she had managed to avoid Stile's face, instead blowing the tiny beast into bits, straight out of the air. Oh god. She was gonna be sick.
