Shadowhunters
|| Abigail "Abby" Lightwood|| 19 || Female || Shadowhunter||Abigail is a tall, slender girl with black hair that goes to her mid-back, and she has piercing blue eyes. Her friends and brother call her Abby. She is a kind, caring person who is loyal to her friends. She does what she thinks is right even if she has to go against the Clave. She is a fierce fighter and tends to fight with a Shadowhunter blade or a small dagger. She doesn't back down in a fight unless she get's dragged away or someone actally talked her down, which is rare. She was raised in a family where technique and poise were highly appreciated, and she didn't hold to that standard. She was always looked down upon, while her brother was the prized pupil. She did what she could to get appreciated, but it didn't help her cause much. She has her parents and her older brother. Her mom's name is Jacey, her dad's name is Greg, and her brother's name is Logan. { Flickeringshadow }

Logan is a lean, built, tall young man who was about 6’0. He had black hair, like his sister, with slightly curly bangs that went down to the middle of his forehead, and he has brown eyes. He is serious and a “goody-goody”. He doesn’t do anything to break the Clave’s laws, the Codex, or the Accords. He often has to reign in his sister from doing reckless stuff. He thinks before he does, unlike Abby. He keeps by his parent’s rules and often trains. He would rather to have a bow and arrow rather than a blade, but he keeps a dagger on hand. He has the same family as Abby does and was raised the same way, unfortunately, too. He is the apple of his parents’ eyes; although he doesn’t want to be. He would rather be ignored by his parents because he is always held up to high standards and has to keep the honor of his family. { Flickeringshadow}

Ashton is a girl tall for her age. She is 5'7. She has black hair that falls to her mid-back and blue-green eyes. She is lanky and is often called skinny. She is very tan and tans easily. She loves to stay outside and be active. She is the complete opposite of her parabatai, Dylan. She is often goofing off during training, but she also takes her training seriously. She often trains by herself and that is why she is always improving. She loves to prank people and is often making jokes, but she's stopped with the pranking since the beginning of the war. She is related to Jace somehow, but she doesn't really know how. Her parents are in Idris because they are part of the Clave, so she's not too close with them. She visits them when she can, but they don't really bond unlike her and the Carstairs. { Flickeringshadow }

Dylan is a tall young man at the height of 5'10, and he still has some growing to do. He has brown hair with bangs that fall below his eyebrows and piercing blue eyes. He is slightly tan and is very toned. He takes his training seriously, which is why he is so toned. He is very cautious and very protective of Ashton. When he's not training or worrying about Ashton, his parabatai, he is very funny and loud. He is also very talkative when not in training or in battle. He likes to play around when he can, but that is getting harder as the war progresses. He is related to Jem and Emma Carstairs by some complicated family tree. He only knows his father. Apparently, his mother had died in battle, when he was young, so he doesn't remember her at all. { Flickeringshadow }
|| Allina Fairchild || 21 || Female || Mundane turned Shadowhunter ||
Her hair is strawberry blonde and straight as a pin, falling to her mid-back. Her hair is layered, with side bangs that fall neatly across her forehead. She has a swimmer's build; tall for a girl, standing about 5'9", with a lean, muscular build and strong, broad shoulders. She has intense Caribbean blue eyes, a teal-blue-green color. Allina has lightly tanned skin from her days of swimming outdoors. She doesn't dress to impress, usually choosing to wear jeans, a t-shirt, and some sort of hoodie; evidently she does not dress out much. Allina has a tattoo, real ink, on her left ankle. The one on her ankle is of the Fairchild family symbol, a set of fiery wings. Allina has double piercings and a cartilage piercing. She is the middle Fairchild child, but she wasn't raised with her older brother and younger sister. In fact, she didn't meet them until three years ago when she turned 18 and no one understands how that happened but she is in fact the full biological sister of Nathan and McKenzie Fairchild. Allina is very personable and tends to get along with many other types of people. She listens well and helps with advice when she can. Allina is not afraid to fight, especially for things that she stands for - as an athlete, she is very competitive, wanting success for what she is fighting for. Allina is driven and works hard for her place, feeling like she always has to prove herself, especially now that she knows that she is a Shadowhunter. Her older brother is Nathan and her younger sister is McKenzie. Her best friend is Noah Cross, a mundane that she grew up with. The transition took a toll on the two of them initially, but eventually their friendship was mended and the two are close, although Allina is unable to talk to Noah about everything... not that it doesn't happen.... { ❧𝓖𝓸𝓵𝓭𝒆𝓷𝓝𝓾𝓰𝓰𝒆𝓽☙ }
|| Nathan Fairchild || 23|| Male || Shadowhunter||
The eldest Fairchild, Nathan takes his job very seriously as older brother and protector. He has a head of light brown hair, cut short and neatly and hazel-brown eyes with golden flecks; he looks nothing like his two sisters, yet their stubbornness and determination bring them together likes peas in a pod. Their body types are also very similar: tall, strong, and lean. Nathan typically dresses in dark colored clothing - dark-washed jeans on the skinnier side paired with a dark shirt. Nathan, only 2 when Allina was born, only had the foggiest memories of her, but 2 years later when Kenzie was born, he was sure that his vague memories were of Kenzie, as they look very similar. He was taken by much surprise when he finally did meet his younger sister, especially the fact that her best friend was a mundane. Nathan, typically isn't one to judge, but there was something about this male mundane being so close with his younger sister - maybe it was the fact that some other individual had taken it upon himself to be the protector of his sister. Nathan is typically personable and very responsible. He always thinks through his actions, going for the best, most efficient plan of attack. Nathan is very stubborn and will stand for his believes to the very end; it is difficult for him to cope with ideas that things aren't what he was taught they were supposed to be and change is extremely difficult. Despite only having known Allina for three years, he has become extremely protective of her as he is with McKenzie. This protectiveness is one of his greatest weaknesses; anyone who wants to control or manipulate Nathan need only threaten one of his younger sisters. || McKenzie "Kenzie" Fairchild || 19 || Female || Shadowhunter||
Youngest of the Fairchild children, McKenzie is probably the most defiant of the three. She likes to live by her own rules, following her heart rather than the strict rules set by the Clave. McKenzie looks strikingly like her older sister, Allina, with the same strawberry blonde hair and bright blue eyes; the two even part their hair in the same direction - to the left. However, Kenzie likes to have her hair curled while Allina's falls straight. Interestingly enough, when Kenzie finally met her older sister, the two had similar piercings, double pierced lobes and a cartilage piercing. This is about as far as the similarities between the two sisters go. McKenzie, having been raised at the Institute, is strong and can fend for herself when the time comes. As the younger sister of Nathan, and the youngest child, McKenzie is impulsive and acts out; maybe that's she has her own set of rules. She was also greatly spoiled by her father as a child being the youngest and a daddy's girl; maybe this is also why she thinks that she doesn't have to follow the rules, she never had to when she was younger. McKenzie dresses out, unlike both of her siblings who prefer the comfort of jeans and a plain t-shirt. McKenzie likes to look her best, even when going out to fight demons to protect the unknowing mundanes. She likes to force her older sister into wearing dresses and prettier outfits, and while thus far she has been unsuccessful, their shared stubbornness keeps Kenzie going at her sister while Allina refuses. Kenzie has a big heart and a passionate curiosity for the worlds that she doesn't know. Her impulsivity, however, may be her downfall because unlike Nathan, McKenzie does not think before she leaps into action. { ❧𝓖𝓸𝓵𝓭𝒆𝓷𝓝𝓾𝓰𝓰𝒆𝓽☙ }
|| Michael Branwell || 19 || Male || Shadowhunter ||
Michael is the younger cousin of the Fairchild children and while he is fairly close to them he is quite different. The Fairchild children are typically serious about what they do, despite their different personalities and varying mannerisms. However, Michael is much different from them in personality. He is much more playful and less serious about what his role is in the delicate balance between Nephilim and Downworlders, much to his immediate family's chagrin. A practical joker who has not really figured out the difference between work and play, although he's much better now than he was a few years back, Michael means well and wants to bring happiness and laughter wherever he goes, knowing how difficult it can be as a Shadowhunter. His mother was killed in battle and after her death, his father moved permanently to Idris as a diplomat. When this happened, he was placed with his cousins, Nathan, Allina, Albany, and McKenzie and since then he's been training with them at the New York Institute. His laid-back, careless manner has been Michael's way of masking the pain and the history, of which he does not like disclosing and his cousins have agreed to respect his decision. Personality aside, Michael has a darker complexion than his Fairchild counterparts. He stands at average height, not excessively tall like Nathan. His hair is a dark brown color and his eyes are, what he considers, a boring brown color, but there is always a light in his eyes and his enthusiasm is infectious. He's not the strongest or fastest, but he will try hard and do his best, despite his happy-go-lucky attitude. { ❧𝓖𝓸𝓵𝓭𝒆𝓷𝓝𝓾𝓰𝓰𝒆𝓽☙ }
|| Emory Penhallow|| 18 || Female || Shadowhunter ||
Emory is quite small for her age, barely reaching 5'2'', despite her being an adult. She has long, darkish brown, almost black, wavy hair that she keeps in a tight braid for most of the time. She has olive skin that tans incredibly easy and has wide cobalt blue eyes. Emory is fiercely loyal to her fellow Shadowhunters, and always tries her best to show kindness to them, even if they get on her nerves at times. She has a short temper at times, and, is honestly self conscious on the fact she is so small and looks much younger than her true age, so when people try to do things for her, she gets upset. She wants to be independent, and wants to be the best Shadowhunter she can be, despite her relative lack of interest in courses outside of fighting and literature. Anything else they try to teach her (including laws), she has no interest in and often gets bored and distracted. This makes her a little impulsive. When she was six she was dropped off by her Father infront of the Institute, after he found out that she wasn't actually his. Jana Penhallow is her mother, but her father is unknown. She is skilled with fighting, especially with her Seraph blade, Abraxos, but she is only proficient with that and a small blade she keeps with her. Unfortunately, she has terrible endurance, usually tiring quickly in battle, since she likes fighting fast and hard. She also has a strong fear of falling from extreme heights, although she is trying her best to overcome it.{ SweetClover1 }

Leila is a 5'1" rooted blonde beauty. She has striking bright green eyes and a face full of freckles. Her hair is silky smooth curls that fall to the middle of her back. Her body type is curvy but in shape. Leila loves anything clothing article that is black and leather. This little lady is spunky, sassy, and to the point. Once you get past that though she is one of the sweetest people you will meet. Her past is somewhat a mystery to most, her family is far and in-between with her being the only living female. Her main strengths are her runes, but her weaknesses are allowing others into her head. She is pro-war supporting werewolf/fae . {Mossfire}
