Neutral territories that the clans share can be found below with their descriptions included.
{ ✤ } Hazy Cascades - A waterfall nestled right between the border of ElmClan and MistClan. The leaders address the Clans from the rocks on the edge of the falls. The cats observe from the slick stone around the gathering pool.
{ ✤ } Firefly Cavern - An old cavern where the air is humid and fireflies appear to always live. Even in cold weather, they oddly light the way to the Frostedstone.
{ ✤ } Chirping Echo Crevasse - The area around the Firefly Cavern is considered neutral territory. The rocks scattered here cause an echo and can alert predators. This started the tradition of cats being unable to speak once they get to this point.
{ ✤ } The Frostedstone - A large sparkling stone that always remains cold to the touch. Light shafts slightly illuminate this stone, cats will touch this stone with their nose to speak to their ancestors. The traditions the three clans share.
{ ✤ } Journey to Firefly Cavern - Around the time an apprentice will have their warrior ceremony, they are taken to the Firefly Cavern to receive dreams from StarClan. The patrol is guaranteed safe passage if they must travel through another Clan's territory. Apprentices are forbidden to speak of their dreams with anyone but the medicine cats. Sometimes, this rite will take place after their ceremony.
{ ✤ } Seasonal Sunlit Gathering - On the day of the claw-moon after the turn of a season, the Clans gather for a day-long gathering full of activities. Each Clan will present an activity for the participants. The festivities end around sunset and the Clans go home. It is usually seen as an honor to go to this event and especially if one is asked to help plan the Clan's chosen activity.
{ ✤ } A Warrior's First Patrol - After a warrior has completed their vigil on the night of their naming ceremony, the honored cats will lead their first patrol in the evening. Depending on the number of warriors made depends on the number of patrols. Some patrols will have a maximum of two warriors to complete this small honor fairly.
{ ✤ } The Shared Vigil - When leaders announce new warriors at a gathering, those named will stand vigil at the Hazy Cascades. The vigil is intended to teach new warriors the value of working beyond borders in times of need. At dawn, a patrol from each Clan will arrive to retrieve their warriors. Deemed dishonorable to speak during the vigil, warriors are expected to communicate only through tail signals and motions.

{ ✤ } Mentors & Apprentices There will be special requirements for mentors and apprentices. In some cases, like if we have an abundance of apprentices, this may be warped to fit the situation. Before making an apprentice or requesting an apprentice, we all kindly ask that you read this important information. Warriors under eighteen moons may not receive an apprentice.* They have not fully developed and matured, despite their training. *However, if need be, a warrior between thirteen to eighteen moons may be given an apprentice in a special case. This is only in special cases and must be approved by the clan owner(s).
Warrior apprentices that are below nine moons must complete two battle training sessions and two hunting training sessions. In addition to their training, they will need to have two assessments, participate in a battle, and visit the Moonstone. Senior warrior apprentices that are nine moons or above must complete one battle training session and one hunting training session. They must complete their final assessment and participate in a battle. It will be assumed that they have traveled to the Moonstone unless the owner of the apprentice states otherwise and is under twelve moons. Medicine cat apprentices must complete two sessions of battle training, two sessions of hunting training, one session of medical training, and one session of spiritual training. Relations between mentor and apprentice will be monitored and may have in role-play consequences. Neglecting training sessions may result in the reassignment of an apprentice no matter the person at fault. Failure to complete your apprenticeship requirements will result in your apprentice training for a longer time.
{ ✤ } Deputies Deputies must have mentored at least one apprentice before being appointed by the Clan leader. They are responsible for many tasks. They are to assist their leader and are a sort of "apprentice leader." They organize patrols and listen to reports, reporting to their leader if the matter is urgent. They are to substitute for the leader and in battles if the leader is not available. For the role-play, we will look at warriors thirty-six moons and older when appointing a deputy. We will only give the role to an active and contributing member.
{ ✤ } Expecting Queens You must ask the clan owner or higher staff if you may make a queen. Unless there is special permission granted by the clan owner, the queen must have a mate or father for the kits. You may ask a member, but may not pester, if they can father the queen's kits. You must role-play one moon between the two before the queen may birth. Permanent queens without a mate or kits are allowed, but they must have had a litter prior to becoming a permanent queen. Orphan kits are not allowed unless there is special permission from the clan owner.
■ A queen may only have up to three (3) litters. ■ The number of kits is decided by a Stress Level chart which includes tiers; the environment around the queen will affect the probability of the number of kits she will produce. ■ Parents of the kits get first "dibs" on claiming a kit; afterward, they may offer them to other role-players. ■ Kit names must make sense and cannot be outlandish.

In this role-play, we will be using a system called "chance charts." The concept is simple, we have arranged charts to display the chances of something happening to a character in different situations. Everyone will have a character impacted by these charts in some way, and there will be no exceptions in normal circumstances. The only exceptions would be a character needing to be kept alive for a plot or something similar. Nevertheless, it will be a rare occurrence. We will be using a virtual dice roll and a virtual coin flip. Clan Owners will screenshot the results and hold them for two days, then are free to delete them. Time and date must be shown on these screenshots. Below are the charts, please take some time to read them.
{ ✤ } Illnesses - Below are the chances for a character to get sick from an outbreak or a seasonal outbreak. For an abnormal outbreak, all cats will be considered and a coin will be flipped for each individual to determine if they catch it or not. For a seasonal outbreak, only half of the Clan will go through this process. From that point, a dice is rolled to determine the severity of illness for each individual. There are six stages. Kit and elders will have two dice rolled as they have double the chance to catch it. The dice and coin will be flipped twice for them. Once the decision is made, it will be role-played out.
{ ✤ } The first stage is a cough and slight symptoms. They can be easily cured before the next Gathering. { ✤ } The second stage is mild symptoms where they may take longer than two weeks real time to recover. They also become slightly contagious and are restricted from hunting patrols to prevent the illness spreading via prey. { ✤ } The third stage with full blown whitecough symptoms. Cats are restricted to camp, but may help with small tasks like rebuilding the camp walls. { ✤ } The fourth stage where the cat begins to show signs of greencough. They are restricted from assisting with tasks near the nursery and elders den. { ✤ } The fifth stage where greencough is confirmed. They are confined to the medicine cat's den and must rest. Symptoms are mild to severe. { ✤ } The sixth and final stage where the cat dies from greencough.
{ ✤ } Battles - Battles can be bloody and take many lives, however they can also be quick, simple, and result to little or no injuries. While any cat can die at any time during a battle, we have decided to make it less likely for death in small battles. Therefore, battles over borders or small strips of territory like Sunningrocks will only go to stage four unless there is a consistent conflict between the two Clans like war. However, battles near the gorge or thunderpath will have a special coin flip to determine if they will meet the terms of a small battle or large battle due to the danger of the location. To prevent a Clan from losing more warriors than necessary, the death toll for a Clan will be five in big battles in three in small battles. A small battle patrol must consist of seven cats while a big patrol must consist of eleven.
{ ✤ } The first stage where the cat only suffers minor scratches. If anything, fur will be ripped out. Ears may be torn as well. { ✤ } The second stage where the cat only suffers a few minor gashes and blood is visible. They do require some medical treatment. { ✤ } The third stage where the cat suffers from larger and worse gashes. They are not at risk of death, but infection can easily set in if not treated quickly. { ✤ } The fourth stage where the cat suffers complete bodily injuries and needs assistance for traveling back to camp. They may risk death by blood loss if they prolong treatment. { ✤ } The fifth stage in which the cat may suffer from a major injury like blinding, broken bones, and other major injuries in addition to major gashes in which blood loss is an issue. They must be immediately sent back to camp or face death. { ✤ } The sixth stage in which the wounds are far too much and the cat dies. They do not have to suffer a broken bone or a wound similar, but they have either not made it in time for treatment, lost too much blood, or suffered a severe blow on the scene of the battle.

The ceremonies have been written out and coded so the Clan Owners and leaders do not have to look up the words each time. It is recommended that leaders and Clan Owners use these, but it will not be required.
{ ✤ } Apprentice Ceremony - An apprentice ceremony is performed when a kit is ready to take on apprentice training, usually at the age of six moons old. When a kit turns six moons old, they are ready to become an apprentice. Until this time, their name ends with the "-kit" suffix. When a kit becomes an apprentice, their name is changed so that the suffix of their name becomes "-paw", showing the path their paws are on.
➥ The Clan leader calls a Clan meeting to appoint a new apprentice and assign a mentor to them. The following words are used, by tradition: ➤ Leader: (Kit), you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as (new name, ending with "paw"). Your mentor will be (name of warrior or medicine cat). I hope (name of warrior or medicine cat) will pass down all he/she knows to you. ➥ The leader calls up the warrior he/she has chosen as a mentor. ➤ Leader: (Warrior), you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from (former mentor), and you have shown yourself to be (quality) and (quality). You will be the mentor of (apprentice), and I expect you to pass on all you know to (apprentice). ➥ The mentor touches noses with the apprentice, and the Clan greets the new apprentice by calling out their name.
{ ✤ } Medicine Cat Apprentice Ceremony - It follows a similar procedure as a warrior apprentice's ceremony. However, the medicine cat is included and the ceremony is not complete without the trip to the Moonstone for StarClan's acceptance. In between the time of the ceremony held before the Clan and before StarClan, the apprentice does still train. ➥ The leader calls a Clan meeting, after the Clan's medicine cat announces that they wish to mentor an apprentice. The following words are used, by tradition: ➤ Medicine Cat: Cats of (Clan), as you know, I will not be around forever. So it's time I took an apprentice. I have chosen a cat who has shown (virtues). Your next medicine cat will be (apprentice). ➤ Leader: (Apprentice), do you accept the post of apprentice to (medicine cat)? ➤ Apprentice: I do. ➤ Medicine Cat: Then at the half-moon, you must travel to the Moonstone to be accepted by StarClan before the other medicine cats. ➤ Leader: The good wishes of all (Clan) will go with you. ➥ The mentor touches noses with the apprentice, and the Clan greets the new apprentice. ◎ At the next half moon, the medicine cat goes with the apprentice to the Clans' sacred place to present them to the warrior ancestors, where the apprentice confirms their wish to be a medicine cat. The following words are used, by tradition: ➤ Medicine Cat: (Apprentice), is it your wish to enter the mysteries of StarClan as a medicine cat? ➤ Apprentice: It is. ➤ Medicine Cat: Then come forward. ➤ Medicine Cat: Warriors of StarClan, I present you with this apprentice. (He/she/they) has chosen the path of a medicine cat. Grant (him/her) your wisdom and insight so that (he/she/they) may understand your ways and heal (his/her) Clan in accordance with your will. ➥ The medicine cat apprentice touches his/her nose to the Moonstone, Then the medicine cat and the apprentice lay down and have a dream from StarClan.

The ceremonies have been written out and coded so the Clan Owners and leaders do not have to look up the words each time. It is recommended that leaders and Clan Owners use these, but it will not be required.
{ ✤ } Warrior Ceremony - A warrior ceremony is a ceremony in which an apprentice finally gets their warrior name and becomes a full-fledged warrior of their Clan. An apprenticeship usually lasts six moons or more. Once the mentor is satisfied with the apprentice's progress and skills, they recommend them to the leader of the Clan. Then, the apprentice must pass an assessment, when their abilities as a warrior are checked. In cases when the apprentice has just made an important contribution to the Clan, the leader may decide that there is no need for an assessment. Before an apprentice becomes a warrior, they must visit the Moonstone to receive a dream of their destiny.
➥ If the Clan Leader is satisfied, they call a Clan Meeting and call the apprentice. The following words are used, by tradition: ➤ Leader: I, (Leader), leader of (Clan), call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (He/she/they) has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend (him/her) to you as a warrior in (his/her/their) turn. ➤ Leader: (Apprentice), do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life? ➤ Apprentice: I do. ➤ Leader: Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. (Apprentice), from this moment you will be known as (new warrior name). StarClan honors your (virtues), and we welcome you as a full warrior of (Clan). ➥ The leader rests their muzzle on the apprentice's head, and the apprentice licks the leader's shoulder. The rest of the Clan then greets the new warrior by calling them by their new name. The warrior will sit a silent vigil guarding the camp that night, except if that is not possible.
{ ✤ } Dying Warrior Ceremony - When an apprentice is on the verge of death and has proven themselves to be worthy of a warrior name, there is a special ceremony used so that the apprentice may take a warrior name to StarClan.
➤ Leader: I ask my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (He/She/They) has learned the warrior code and given up (his/her/their) life in the service of (his/her) Clan. Let StarClan receive (him/her/their) as a warrior. (He/She/They) will be known as (new name).
{ ✤ } Medicine Cat Ceremony - A medicine cat ceremony is a ceremony in which a medicine cat apprentice finally gets their well earned medicine cat name, because their mentor approves of their work. Apprenticeship for medicine cats usually lasts much longer than those for warriors. The cat must learn about all available herbs and remedies, and the treatment of diseases and injuries.
➥ Once the Clan's medicine cat is satisfied with the apprentice's knowledge, they go to the Clans' sacred place. This is the only ceremony that is not performed by the Leader. The following words are used, by tradition: ➤ Medicine Cat: I, (name), medicine cat of ___Clan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (He/she/they) has trained hard to understand the ways of a medicine cat, and with your help (he/she/they) will serve (his/her/their) Clan for many moons. ➤ Medicine Cat: ___paw, do you promise to uphold the ways of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life? ➤ Apprentice: I do. ➤ Medicine Cat: Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your true name as a medicine cat. ___paw, from this moment you will be known as (new name). StarClan honors your (virtues), and we welcome you as a full medicine cat of (Clan). ➥ The medicine cat rests their muzzle on the apprentice's head, and they lick the mentor's shoulder. The other medicine cats greet them by their new name.

The ceremonies have been written out and coded so the Clan Owners and leaders do not have to look up the words each time. It is recommended that leaders and Clan Owners use these, but it will not be required.
{ ✤ } Deputy Ceremony - A deputy ceremony is when a Clan leader names the Clan's new deputy. This happens when the previous deputy dies, retires, is exiled, or is promoted to leader. According to the warrior code, a new deputy must be appointed before moonhigh that day. There are exceptions, however. Occasionally, a Clan leader does not announce the new deputy before moonhigh. This can be because: they are physically or emotionally unwell, or they are unsure whether the previous deputy is alive. If the ceremony is not performed in time, it is sometimes seen as a bad omen. If the deputy dies in battle, the Clan Leader might choose to appoint the new deputy whilst still fighting, instead of waiting to return to the camp.
➤ Leader: I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors (or former deputy name) may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of (Clan) is (warrior's name).
{ ✤ } Leader Ceremony - A leadership ceremony is the ceremony in which, when the leader dies or retires, the deputy receives their nine lives and their leader name with the suffix -star.
➥ The new leader goes to the Moonstone with the Clan's medicine cat. After touching the stone, the new leader cannot move for a short period of time, because their old life is being ripped away so they can receive nine new ones. Upon awakening, cats of StarClan come down from Silverpelt. Nine cats, normally ones who were significant during the new leader's life, although this is not always the case,[ give them their nine lives with these words: ➤ Life-Giver: (Touches nose to the top of the new leader's head) With this life I give you (gift). Use it well (to, in, as, for, etc.) (use of gift). ➥ When all of the lives have been given, normally the previous leader says these words: ➤ Previous Leader: I hail you by your new name, _____star. Your old life is no more. You have now received the nine lives of a leader, and StarClan grants you the guardianship of ____Clan. Defend it well; care for young and old; honor your ancestors and the traditions of the warrior code; live each life with pride and dignity.
{ ✤ } Name Changing Ceremony - A name changing ceremony is a ceremony that takes place when a Clan Leader decides to give a Clan cat a new name. This is usually done when the cat's old name does not suit them anymore, or because of an injury.
➥ The leader calls a Clan Meeting, and performs the change with the following words: ➤ Leader: "Spirits of StarClan, you know every cat by name. I ask you now to take away the name from the cat you see before you, for it no longer stands for what he/she/they is. By my authority as Clan leader, and with the approval of our warrior ancestors, I give this cat a new name. From this moment on he/she/they will be known as (new name), for (description of the reason)."
{ ✤ } Elder Ceremony - An aging warrior, queen, or medicine cat may retire as an elder due to own initiative, when they feel they cannot help the Clan efficiently any more. A cat may also retire if they are hindered from serving their Clan through old age, illness, or injury. They report this to the Clan leader, who calls a Clan meeting and addresses the warrior.
➤ Leader: (Warrior), is it your wish to give up the name of a warrior and go to join the elders? ➤ Warrior: It is. ➤ Leader: Your Clan honors you and all the service you have given to us. I call upon StarClan to give you many moons of rest. ➥ The Clan will call out the retired warrior's name and then they will go to the elder's den. An elder may receive a completely different name, with a different ceremony, than keeping their warrior name. Usually, an elder ceremony is held only when a cat retires due to old age. If they are forced to retire because of a severe injury, there is no ceremony.

{ ✤ } Back Kick - Explosive surprise move to catch opponent from behind. Judge opponent's distance from you carefully, then lash out with your back legs, taking all weight on your front paws. { ✤ } Belly Rake - A fight-stopper. Slice with unsheathed claws against the soft flesh of the opponent's belly. If you're pinned down, the belly rake quickly puts you back into control. { ✤ } Front Paw Blow - Frontal attack. Bring your front paw down hard on your opponent's head. Claws sheathed. { ✤ } Front Paw Strike - Frontal attack. Slice downward with your front paw at the face or body of your opponent. { ✤ } Killing Bite - A death blow to the back of the neck. Quick and silent and sometimes considered dishonorable. Used only as a last resort. { ✤ } Leap-and-hold - Ideal for a small cat facing a larger opponent. Spring onto opponent's back and grip with unsheathed claws. Now you are beyond the range of the opponent's paws and in position to inflict severe body wounds. A group of apprentices can defeat a large and dangerous warrior in this way. Watch for the drop-and-roll counter move, and try to jump free before you get squashed. { ✤ } Partner Fighting - Warriors who have trained and fought together will often fall instinctively into a defensive position, each protecting each other's back while fending off an opponent on either side. Slashing, clawing, and leaping together, battle pairs can be a whirlwind of danger for attackers. { ✤ } Play Dead - Effective in a tight situation, such as when you are pinned. Stop struggling and go limp. When your opponent relaxes their grip, thinking you are defeated, push yourself up explosively. This will throw off an unwary opponent and put you in attacking position. { ✤ } Scruff Shake - Secure a strong teeth grip in the scruff of your opponents neck; then shake violently until he or she is too rattled to fight back. Most effective against rats, who are small enough to throw. This move is similar to the leap-and-hold except your claws remain free to fight. { ✤ } Upright Lock - Final, crushing move on already weakened opponent. Rear up on back legs and bring weight down on opponent. If opponent does the same, wrestle and flip him under you. This makes you vulnerable to the belly rake, so it takes great strength and speed. { ✤ } Half-Turn Belly Rake - Turn onto your side, slip under the opponent's belly, rake it with your claws, then swiftly turn back onto all fours out from under your opponent. { ✤ } Badger Defense - Leap over your opponent, turn on your back legs and bite opponent's leg. Used only when fighting badgers. { ✤ } Duck and Twist - Simple defensive move. The cat ducks then twists around, rolling over onto their back, and then springs to their paws. { ✤ } Jump and Pin - Complicated move. Leap backwards, and bounce off the wall.
