Hello hello! If anyone knows me, you'd know that I'm poofy af, and you'd also know that I hate following plotlines. So! I decided the best thing for that would be a little laid-back 1x1 in which the goal is just character growth and nothing else. If this interests you, keep on.
I'm looking for someone to do a little pokemon rp with me. But not a big plotline or anything grand, just the day-to-day adventures of two ex-rivals that are now in npc mode; living in one of the towns, going about their own business, maybe a little adventure because who can really give up sticking their nose into other people's problems when they have tamed literal gods. The vibe is like if animal crossing met pokemon. For us old folks that remember the good times of being a pokemon trainer and are now old fogies in villages.
Some notes:
- must have at least a little knowledge of pokemon. Kind of a given, but yea. Also, I would prefer we keep things gen 5 and below, and probably in a generic-but-not-canon region, so that we don't have to fact-check and can be free to build our own npc's. Though it might be fun to have some canon characters visit from time to time (;
- no post limit/max. I tend to settle at ~3 paragraphs for fast rp and 1k words for 1/day style. I'd rather have daily replies than pressures on length, even if they tend to be shorter. If that's something you're interested in, this might be a good fit.
- no romance. I'm totally fine with each of our character(s) having partners, but I'm not interested in rp'ing budding romance between main characters. Maybe side characters if it's natural and we're comfy. I'm not completely opposed to our characters starting out as romantic partners, however, tho that's really more the chemistry of us rp'ers than anything.
- must be willing to make things happen. I get really frustrated when a rp partner just has their character respond to actions without initiating anything themselves, or just adding 1k descriptive fluff around one simple action. I want both our replies to matter; I want your actions to change my character's response; I want to feel like I'm learning something from how your characters interact with the world.
