Yacinthe Tealraven, Sounds like a short chase scene back home to wrap it up on a bang might be best then? Short but sweet maybe. Teal, Kea are so pretty, but it's a lie, they're more intelligent than crows and ravens, but with the personality of a raccoon. They're known for dissasembling windscreen wipers and popping tires for fun. Truly, one of very few new Zealand animals with any survival skills. whispersofthedead Nightheart is indeed a pathetic little meow meow, I love the silly drama boy, it's nice to have a character more internally focused than warriors normally does

Disassembling screens and popping tires? Now that definitely sounds like parrot behavior. I have a macaw (actually my mom’s bird) and she’s an absolute gremlin sometimes! cx I honestly haven’t been following the discussion on timeskips that closely so I’m a bit confused as well. But whatever you guys settle on is probably fine. We can always try one method for awhile to see what works and switch to something different if we need to. Tiri and Yacinthe if you two wanna go ahead and rp that chase scene, you can just say Ravenswoop is being very tense and alert as she’s trying to shepherd Shade and being protective/somewhat maternal towards Pipit. I’m not gonna be able to rp tonight, I’m so sorry </3 |

I read a week for the posts, so I don't mind which days!
As for post readability, I usually stick to white on darker backgrounds, Georgia font, and 13.50px for the font-size. I also have specific colors relating to the character's eye color I use. If any of those are hard to read, I can see about finding a better color. |

and eye color is smart! The worst part about this brown is that there aren't many colors that really look good on it for accents :( I have a yellow, a blue, and a green that are okay, but that should be enough to rotate around if I happen to have multiple in one scene

Tealraven feel free to do whichever you feel like. btw I said some stuff as Berryeye in owlclan about duskbreeze, if you want some things changed or removed or dont like it in general just tell me. little blu ♥ I think people are just throwing out ideas, you should do what feels right to you, but I do think skipping a full week every three days is a bit much, but in such cases as this where we've been on the same day for 2 weeks maybe it would be better to just skip two weeks ahead to match it at the end is what I was originally saying. I think some people are just worried about some situations where they would want to rp the very next day. It's your RP at the end of the day, though, so whatever you find to be the best fit for the pace that you want to set is good with me. I would suggest that if you wanna expand it to a full week maybe extend the day to 4 or 5 days of rp? But then the scale might be getting too high. There isn't really a right answer I think so just go with your gut.

Would you be interested in developing a past history between Beeswipe and Tawnystripe? Beestripe has a long history of crushes that haven't worked out, and Tawnystripe seems like she'd have been the cool perfect older warrior when Beeswipe was young. Nothing that impacts them now, unless it sparked a friendship back then or something, but Tawnystripe seems like such a cool character, of course he'd have crushed on her when he was young! I love she cats that get to be direct and strong and confident about things.

A severe migraine knocked me off my feet yesterday x.x I'm feeling better this afternoon, but rather tired. I'll try to post something later today but might end up putting it off 'til tomorrow depending on how I'm feeling. Yacinthe Berryeye is your character; only you can decide how he feels about the circumstances of Duskbreeze's death. You can write whatever you want about her from Berryeye's POV as far as I'm concerned! c: Tiri Beeswipe and my Sootfall have a lot in common! I could see them being each other's best friend/wingman before the Swan-Owl conflict started. Alas, now they are destined to be enemies </3 about timeskip shenanigans - this is probably the last I'll say anything about it, as I'm having trouble keeping track of everyone's suggestions o.O Perhaps, for now at least, we decide on timeskips on a case-by-case basis? Like every three-to-four days? I think the roleplay is starting to stagnate a little and it would be best to decide on something, try it for a bit, see how it works for everyone, and adjust as needed to keep things moving. With my disorder flaring up again and being in Germany without medical records here, they are having me doing tests and I am just generally depressed about the overall thing. I took Tawny on claim, so I've been worrying at her timeline and history and when she would have had her litters and what that would entail for her relationships. What I have on her is below, for anyone interested in OwlClan timelines; if Sand ends up claiming Mole, we'll have to figure out what would fit best for their getting together pretty much immediately after Sand's death, since the timeline is fairly tight around then, but there's plenty of good reasons we can come up with that would fit both of them I'm sure.

I was thinking that relationship would have been a "high school romance" type deal, where they were "dating" later in their apprenticeship and since Tawny always wanted to be a mother even more than being a warrior, she ended up having her litter with him soon after they got their names. Sandhawk died soon after, probably before Tiger was even born.
We're going to ignore the fact that if we wanted a semi-realistic timeline, that Tawny would have had to be pregnant with the trio while Tiger was still in the nursery, which is, uh, a bit tighter than would make sense. (If that's something we want to retcon with Tawny and Tiger's ages, we can spread out a little more). I know a lot of rp'ers tend to equate moons to years so it didn't look so bad on paper until you think about the 6-moons in the nursery and that's a long time!
I'm guessing that Mole would have taken over as Tiger's father after Sand's death in some capacity, and would later become Tawny's mate officially. Either because a) he liked Tawny all along and wanted to help/was Tawny's friend, b) he was related to Sand and felt obligated to step in as a godparent c) he also lost a loved one recently and they comforted each other d) he was a rebound and it ended up working surprisingly well in the long run. Some ideas.
I'm guessing if Beeswipe came in, it would probably be around Sand's death. He could have even stepped in like Mole and helped with Tigergleam, but Tawny chose Mole instead, having been an apprentice with him longer(or on the same team) and not with Bee, who was a moonkeeper which made it difficult. Also, I'm down to have a time skip soon, both because the scenes are a bit slow now and also because I'd like to free up other people's characters since I'll be gone for the next two-three days. I'm moving for an internship (!!) and it's a long drive and settle in time that I won't have internet for. It's exciting but moving is always stressful, even if it's only for the summer.

etc etc Romeo and Juliet but bros etc. I'd love that, that dynamic could be so cool to play out in gatherings, to have this big awkward thing between two cats that respect each other but would never betray their clans!

I'd be so so keen for this! Love the idea of both mutual respect between Tawny and Bee, but also this awkwardness and careful distance? Close, but only so close, ah, I love a complicated dynamic. And I like feeling like our characters have done interesting and important things in the past, rather than only becoming important once we start rping them, if that makes sense? It'd create a whole lot of interesting options for Bee and Mole too, all the way from antagonistic to being closer due to their mutual support of Tawny after Sandhawk's death.

Honestly, any reasons of Mole going for Tawny are completely plausible. It’s up to Brownie to decide because I’m good for any of them. Whichever one is chosen, I can alter Mole to fit.
I haven’t chosen a set personality for Mole, so this helps. I was thinking of a few options. I can see him being antagonistic towards Bee because Tawny is his mate, not Bee’s. But I can also see him finding a way to handle the situation. I think he could realize if Bee is good for Tawny, maybe he lets things slide for a bit. or he gets distracted and things do slide without him noticing.
Personality options tho.
Option 1: gentle, oblivious, placid, delicate, and foolish. Molewhisker would be a gentle, amiable cat that’s oblivious to what goes on with Tawny, his mate. He’s usually quite placid (calm) yet foolish in his own actions. The tom’s also delicate in terms of sensitivity. If he were to find out about Tawny and Bee, he’d break. I think he would also bend over backwards for her, no matter what. Deeply loyal to a degree that it is too much.
Option 2: dedicated, witty, clever, protective, pedantic, and stubborn. This version of Molewhisker would be dedicated to his clan and Tawny + family. This means he’s also protective of them and would go to any lengths to keep them safe. Even if it means comprising himself. However, he would be a clever cat. He could possibly notice things between Bee and Tawny. Of course, he’d be devoted enough to trust her words. That makes him stubborn as he wouldn’t search other paths for the truth. Yet, it’s possible that something triggers him to look further due to being pedantic. He wants to learn more about Bee and Tawny’s relationship, so he pushes forward.

Okay, first things, first. I apologize for not being on this weekend. That unfortunately will happen a lot, especially this month, there's so much going on and weekends are my busiest time. Especially now, while I work on my grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary party. And I know none of you probably care but my mom and I are the only ones working on this party and it's huge, they're renewing their vows, half the ever loving parish is invited... there's TABLE PLACEMENTS? Like, why? Okay, Blu, is stressed but she'll stop. That takes place next weekend (Saturday) so I will likely be a chaotic mess this week, just to let you all know. I think open communications about scheduling is important, especially since I'm running all three clans... (not by myself thank god for all you lovely souls, being so helpful and supportive.. <3)
Next up on the agenda, time skips. I'm not going to lie here, trying to figure this out has put me through the wringer stress-wise, but that's a me thing, because I tend to put a lot of pressure on myself. At the end of the day, I just want to have fun and for this rp to be successful. Also, I want us to be able to move forward with plots and aging, I feel like that's why a lot of rps fall stagnant. SO. After reviewing, I have come up with the best solution for now. Maybe it won't be perfect in the long run or fit everyone, but it's what we got to work with. We'll try it on and see how it fits? Today we are going to jump forward by a full week. This is a hefty chunk of time. I want to talk about what happened in that time, so I can update the news section! So this will be a conversation that needs to happen. Moving forward, we will attempt to time-skip every three to four days, but as Teal said, maybe a more case-by-case situation is needed. Flexibility is key here, I think. We'll play it by ear, see how this goes.

I do want to pop my own two cents into the Mole/Tawny situation - more, I want to give some background with Tiger ~
One, we should probably retcon the ages, because Tiger should probably at least have been an apprentice when his mother got pregnant with her second litter. Also, I wanted to mention that Tiger has some... family issues. His father clearly died when he was young and his mother seemed to move on pretty quick (I am not throwing any shade Tawny, I love you) and it was all just a little hard for young Tigerpaw to handle. He doesn't resent his mother or his siblings, or even Molewhisker, though maybe he did at the time. He just distanced himself from them because he was young and felt all these conflicting feelings and didn't want to lash out or say things he didn't mean. As a result, he has kind of an estranged relationship with his younger siblings and deeply regrets it. He's a family cat deep down, it's why he clings so tightly to his team, but he wants to connect with them so bad, he just doesn't know how and fears the chasm is too deep. Tawny is likely the only one he remained relatively close to and his relationship with Mole is likely awkward and full of frustration, on Tiger's side because he's the only father figure he's known but he just can't seem to... connect? If that makes any sense at all.
