Woo, also not working and not in college club //awkward high five I have a million other things I should be doing and want to be doing, yet here I am. I'll probably be on these forums til the day they or I die lol Same! I'm looking forward to seeing Lilystep in action, she seems like a sweetheart <3 heck yeah! *the highest of fives* that's exactly how i feel. i tend to have short or long hiatuses on the forums, and every time i think im done... im suddenly getting reeled back in lol i hope so! im still in the process of trying to establish what makes her different from my other softies, and im starting to get a clearer picture. i definitely have concrete ideas about her, but maybe i'll take my own advice and assign her some flaws and ideals |

College is *checks notes* american university, yes? I followed the path of tripping into uni and that was 8 years and several degrees ago, and I haven't managed to escape since!
Dnd is truly excellent, I really recommend it. I'm in a pathfinder 2e group with my partner and some friends, and the hijink we get up to... Currently we're trapped on a train and someone's about to be murdered, in true orient express fashion. We've on the train because we got delayed traveling to the capital city for a baking competition by visiting and then immediately overthrowing disneyland. It's wild

It is! I started off playing 5e dnd, but when pathfinder 2e came out the group switched over. It's got a LOT more variety than 5e, and it isn't possible to just break the game with a coffeelock or something, and there's basically infinite ways of customising your character. For example, any ancestry can be half-orc or half-elf, not just humans. And there's a huge variety of ancestries, including spider, frog, hyena and cat folk. There's more rules, but far better power scaling, so I think it all works out nicely. Warlocks, specifically hexblade are powerful as anything though, that sounds like an excellent build! I'm currently playing a tiefling cleric (who are the smiters of pathfinder) with a focus on soul magic, who's a lawful evil demon. Taking over disneyland wasn't our fault, they were being orc-racist and we needed to burn it to the ground
Good to know! College is one of the names for high school level schools here, so it gets a little confusing for me

There a new dragonborn/dragons in general book out for pathfinder 2e too, it's very exciting! Shadow dragons and thunder dragons and things.
My tiefling's a lawyer too! Except, her contracts literally bind souls, because she's just a little demon who gets to eat souls as a treat. We homebrewed some rules about what happens if people try and break them, it's really cool. I feel like lawful evil is fun because it's evil, yes, but very containable by the rest of the party? Diplomatic struggles are so fun too, it's nice to have problems that aren't necessarily about combat
Exactly, not our fault at all. We overthrew the humans and handed the park over to the rightful leader of the orc tribe, and helped them arm it back into a fortress, and slaughtered a garrison of guards that came to try and stop us, and then found a shadow dragon, defeated it in combat, and installed it to protect the now orc town, because... it escalated quickly.
God, I'm having so much fun over in Crowclan making Sunclaw as obnoxious as possible

to be fair, i do have to be packing and such at the same time so i might be a tiny bit poofy but i want to be as active as i can while i have some free-ish time. ^ ^

I have a feeling Lightningstar is going to seriously consider disbanding the blue team if they get in a fight with a clan they're not even fighting with, a potential ally even. Cardinalstar is definitely not going to be pleased either. Angry leaders all around - yay!
( edit: I just meant this to give insight into Lightningstar's character. He's not rash by any standards and border skirmishes with CrowClan are going to upset him because he'll view them as unnecessary and detrimental to his potential campaign. I didn't mean to discourage the fighting, you know I love drama and it fits the characters, I guess I just want y'all to know there will be potential consequences. I don't think he'll disband them after this infraction, but they're walking on thin ice. )

Totally cool with Larchember getting super hurt, or if we're feeling extra dramatic killed. I imagine they aren't a very great fighter and just went along because Where Friends Go I Go. Could be a way to get more Crowclanners riled up since they're part of a big friend group.
(btw I guess I shoulda mentioned this somewhere in their bio,I've been using he since theyre currently focused on Lynxspots but Larchember is a he/she/they nb/genderfluid. Specifically, they tend to switch to the pronouns of their company since they tie their identity and ego so much with being people's friend and adopts their mannerisms. If they don't die early I had an idea of them either doubling down or gaining more confidence and using them more on how they're feeling, depending on how things go. Feel free to use whatever of those seem right to you or your character when talking to/about them.)

I'm cool with a border skirmish! I'd be happy with a little fight, but also Sunclaw is equally likely to try and flirt with the lot of them, which might defuse things a little. We could do an antagonistic thing without a full fight if we're worried about breaking up blue team (who have so much chaos still to cause)?
Sand Sunclaw kinda deserves a good thwack or too, he's too annoying to stay silent about |

Blue Team: are you flirting or starting a fight? Sunclaw: yes. If it comes to blows, Foxblaze is likely to get a few hits in. She looks scrappy but can successfully punch above her weight for short periods of time. She hits hard and fast but runs out of steam pretty quickly. I feel like she'd probably go directly after Sunclaw because that's just How She Is. Lynxspots is not gonna have a good time no matter what. He could get his tail handed to him by anyone on Blue Team. He will probably try to defuse the situation before it goes too far. Since this is CrowClan and OwlClan and it was an OwlClanner who killed Duskbreeze... if word gets back to camp of an altercation on the border you can bet this is gonna fuel Ravenswoop's agenda. little blu ♥ I hope we're not taking this too far too soon! That is exactly Sunclaw's vibe here. Because he's in this to feel better about himself, and any way he manages to get a reaction is a good one. He's an excellent fighter, and difficult to take down, so he'd probably need other cats to gang up on him if they were going to win. But he'll also be up in front and being obvious, so unlike the other crowclan cats he wouldn't have the advantage of surprise. With the confirmation of Flutterpaw, the patrol now has a fifth cat from crowclan, as she's his apprentice (poor girl). But again, if Sunclaw's busy flirting to rile Blue team up rather than anything else, he probably (miraculously) won't be the one to make the first move
Flickerfang will not be best pleased by Blue team, and is less stable than normal with her injuries, if there's an altercation with the crowclan border she's going to end up feeling powerless and angry

The border skirmish sounds fun! I was thinking Flutterpaw could join in on the patrol if you guys are okay with that. If that happens alongside a nasty fight, I was thinking that maybe she could run to the CrowClan camp to get backup, or heck even to warn them. I’m down to see Ravenswoop get riled up over it, and potentially some more cats. Maybe it can start some “CrowClan needs to get more involved” rebellion if they lose the border skirmish?  |

Fight or not, a confrontation on the border would probably be enough to bring the matter to CrowClan's attention, at least. Ravenswoop will definitely take advantage of it whichever way it goes.

I'm down to skirmish! I'm only really available between 7-11 EST tho if we want to see if we can get everyone on at once for it. As for Ashstripe... a lot of her character is wanting to outdo her teammates, so however hard you push she'll def be escalating, though she wouldn't be tempted to make the first move. She'd probably bite off more than she can chew and be injured trying to do stupid things; I don't mind if she's the worst injured out of the OwlClan party, it would be a good step into her realizing that maybe she can and should set limits which is her character arc's goal if she doesn't die first. also @certifiedhoodclassic we do have *•.¸♡𝘥𝘢𝘸𝘯𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘦♡¸.•* 's Jadepaw if you want Flutterpaw to scrap without getting beat up by the older warriors. You can have her grab help if that fits her character, but having the apprentices duke it out (or just bond by watching their impulsive clanmates fight) that can also be on the table. And while I love blue team being absolute chaos, I can also see that it might be good for them to split up and mellow out in other groups; it would totally be a fitting thing. I could also see lightningstar being like "apprentice duties and teamwork exercises until you can learn to work together, no border patrols to the Clan sides for 2 moons since yall are a political nightmare" Also I just thought of this, but how would the Vow of Silence for the CrowClan cats allow this to happen? Would they be proud enough that they would keep to it strictly in front of rival Clans out of pride, even if they're harassed first? Like CrowClan is so cool we don't talk back can't even hear you |

Sounds good. Tiri we could also wait until the weekend, but that's a lot of time lost waiting. It might be worth it if we want a really good scene and everyone could be there! |
