Tealraven , thejadestorm , would you guys be interested in the following WIP deputy character? If Foxblaze and Oakengaze are maneuvering to be deputy of Owlclan, this would be the cat you'd be replacing - a deputy who was hurt bad in the takeover of Mossystones, and who hasn't retired yet, but who'd eventually be moving to the elder's den. I know your characters are gunning for the position, I thought I should talk with you both before finalising her application! Owlclan:
Flickerfang | 107 moons | Female Ginger tabby with green eyes, one eye lost, one weakened forepaw Stern - determined - unyielding - protective [clan] Owlclan [rank] Deputy [kin] Tawnystripe [friends/enemies] A personal vendetta against whoever hurt her in battle (open). Has has a mutual dislike with Crowfrost, due to her constant refusal to listen to medical advice [romance] Open [other] Demi Flickerfang is dedicated, stern, and a normally entirely logical deputy. However, in the battle where Owlclan lost Mossystones, where Black team fought in a vicious fight, she got badly injured. One of her eyes is now scarred shut, and the forepaw on her opposite side will only hold her weight for a short amount of time. Now not only dealing with the loss to clan pride that the battle has been, Flickerfang has taken her injuries as a hard blow. First refusing treatment from the medicine cats, then adamantly refusing to ease back into things slowly, she has forced her body back into warrior life with a vengeance that will come back to bite her later. But Flickerrfang refuses to show weakness. She will not fail.

Blue-grey fur with white patches on her muzzle and chest and tufted ears. Slightly mismatched eyes, one olden, one mostly gold with splashes of blue in the iris.

Dawncall has been hiding her heart for a long time. She, all the way from her apprentice days five long years ago, has desperately wanted a soulmate, a cat to call her own, to grow old with in Starclan anointed partnership. She waited, and didn't mind, busying herself with upholding their sacred duty as the most responsible and important clan, making herself into a good warrior, a successful and strong member clan member, and she waited, seeing other cats get pulled aside by medicine cats, hoping each time that she'd be the other half of that happy news, and waited, seeing other cats get to start families, keeping her proper distance from her clan mates to prevent a non-ordained romance, and waited. She is done waiting. After Swanclan's takeover of Mossystones, in the aftermath of the battle and it's associated injuries, Dawncall made her move. She took her only mildly star touched eyes and her close-to-illegal sky associated name and leveraged them, weaving blue flowers into her too-scruffy mane, the better to show off her eye's mismatch. She took Cloudberry's need for extra cobweb to bind scratches and more oak leaves to prevent infection, and brought him back enough of both the he didn't need to leave his patients. And once things had calmed, she presented herself to him, and asked to become his apprentice.
Now, she has the opportunity to learn all sorts of things. And yes, she's putting her memory to work, fetching an ever growing list of herbs, and yes, she is helping her clan mates.The clan has so many cats like her, without their one true partner. Maybe this way she'll get to help them with that, too. But Dawncall? Dawncall is here for answers. Why has she never gotten a soulmate? Is there something wrong with her? Is one out there, in another clan, or a rogue, or a kittypet? Has she been lied to?

Gray fur with a black mane, a prominent white streak running from head to tail, overgrown canines, and blue eyes

[other] Lesbian. Sleekstreak exists happily in Aloestar's orbit, as she has from the day they became mates. Never questioning her mate's decisions, and always backing her up entirely, Sleekstreak does nothing to check Aloestar's choices, but a lot to ease the burden of leadership though always providing a supportive ear.

Poor Ravenswoop finally has somebody in her camp <3 Based on the personality you outlined for Batscreech, I feel like he might have a strained relationship with Lynxspots. 𝚛𝚊𝚒𝚗𝚢 Lilystep is? A sweetheart?? And absolutely the kind of cat Ravenswoop would end up flustered around??? We can definitely pursue an angsty budding romance with them if you like! Maybe they were already friends to begin with and have grown closer since Dusk's death?

Tealraven omg yes i love that for us, and that's sort of what i was thinking? Ravenswoop is older than her, but I could see Lilystep admiring and looking up to her as a young apprentice before finally approaching Raven and expressing her interest in becoming friends. probably ended up taking a backseat when her and Duskbreeze were getting involved romantically, and now she would do anything to get a glimpse of her old friend back. maybe even helping plot murder. but in a zuko and katara avenging katara's mother kind of wayYacinthe im so glad you took up Batscreech! i think out of his kits, Goldensong is much more understanding of his mood swings than Lynxspots is

Aww, that's a sweet relationship for them to have, actually. Raven is only ten moons older than Lily so they could have been apprentices together. Lily may or may not have been friends with Dusk, too, so her death could've impacted her as well, depending on how you feel about that.

I think Lily could have been friends with Dusk at some point, though not as close as she considered her friendship with Raven. I'd say she was saddened by her untimely and unlucky death, but not nearly as affected as Raven or Shadepelt |

Brownie I will admit to finding Tawny such a fun character, so direct and yet maternal, and with such cool confidence, and basically thought she was so cool I wanted a cool older she-cat with confidence and competence. So, uh, the similarities are not surprising? Although I hope she's distinct, I wouldn't want to just full on copy you! @certifiedhoodclassic I'd love a shared mentorship! It'll have some interesting dynamics, with Dawn being older than Cloud and probably Cloud having an odd time with that, and also Dawn's suspicions about medicine cats maybe lying about soulmates. I'm not at all sure they would lie, but Swanclan does have a history of medicine cats doing that, and even if they aren't lying it's an interesting character arc to follow figuring that out. It'll be so much fun doing medicine cat drama with you! I also love Flutterpaw! I have Sunclaw old enough to mentor, if you need somebody, but also - Sunclaw's a twat. A booger. A waste of air. Sunclaw wanders though life with deep insecurity and waaaay too much aggression. If I was an apprentice I'd want anyone but him, honestly, so it'd be totally valid to not want him for Flutterpaw. He'd do a bad job, which could be interesting for rp reasons, but probably only something to sign up for if that's the story you'd like to tell.

Crowclan
Lilybreeze – 48 moons – female (she/hers)
Lilybreeze has a thick silver pelt with a black muzzle and chest, as well as a black tailtip, and dark brown eyes.
Charming and ambitious, Lilybreeze is a lovely she-cat with a slightly sad aura around her. She is an excellent prey hunter, but her small size and weaker muscles make her a poor fighter. She is very charismatic but she tends to be slightly cold, leaving her with few real friends.
Clan: Crowclan
Rank: Queen, expecting kits in about 2 weeks
Kin: Both her parents died when she was an apprentice. She has living littermates though. Blizzardfrost, her only living kit, was raised in Swanclan.
Friends/Enemies: no friends, but I imagine she’s made a few enemies.
Romance: She’s still mourning her deceased mate, Whirlcloud, so she’s not looking for romance.
Other: Straight, also, while Lilybreeze was never very religious, after losing most of her first litter and both of her mates, she stopped believing in Starclan entirely.
Swanclan
Blizzardfrost – 21 moons – male (he/his/him)
Blizzardfrost is a nearly all white tom with a single grey patch covering his left ear and eye and has big yellow eyes, he is also very large.
Blizzardfrost is one of Swanclan’s youngest warriors and he’s eager to prove himself to his clanmates. Blizzardfrost is a rule-follower who is completely devoted to the warrior code, which makes him seem like somewhat of a stick in the mud. He’s also pretty snobbish, and most cats tend to find him offputting.
Clan: Swanclan
Rank: Warrior
Kin: Blizzardfrost was born to a Crowclan mother and Swanclan father who were not soulmates, so it was seen as retribution from Starclan when his three siblings died as kits. His father, Snowspots, died when he was an apprentice, and he has never had a relationship with his mother, Lilybreeze.
Friends/Enemies: none yet
Romance: Blizzardfrost is desperately hoping to find his soulmate, but he hasn’t yet.
Other: Bisexual
I decided to start with 2, but I may add an Owlclan character later! This looks super fun!

hey new joiners! Sorry it's been so long! Blu has been pretty busy lately so she hasn't been able to update the pages or anything. i just got back from a mini vacation myself so as mod *activates page mod powers* i'll try and help out as much as i can so we can get y'all RPing here c: conflictfur - Spottedpelt looks great! Just a couple of things, for the one line of description do you think you could write out a physical description of him instead? And the teams can be found under the Training portion of OwlClan for example, if he's just a warrior and not a moonkeeper, some possible teams he could join are: (1)Red Team, (3)Black Team, (5)Pink Team, or (7) Green Team MonarchTea - Rainstripe looks good! The only thing is that you've mentioned he's a warrior when Yellow Team(team 4) is a Moonkeeper's team. Would you like him to be a moonkeeper or stay a warrior? If the latter then he can join any of the aforementioned teams above ^^ dangerousbirds - I think you've got some cool and interesting characters! nothing of note from me, i'd say you're good to RP if you want! |
