✰ Keep cats realistic. No hot pink coats with rainbow eyes, please.
✰ Let's keep things PG/-13.
✰ Literacy isn't too big of a deal for me. As long as you write at least 3 good sentences and it's legible, that's fine with me. Please write in third person.
✰ Everyone has a life outside of this forum, I understand that. Please try to be as active as you can, at least twice a week or maybe more for people with higher roles within the clan. Please let me know if you need to go on a break/hiatus. If you're gone without warning for longer than two weeks, I will remove your characters, but I'll keep them saved to a draft/google doc if you want to rejoin at a different time! c:
✰ In character days change every two real life days. That allows two days to play out the same scenes/day and then on the third day, we move on to the next day. This is to keep the rp moving at a decent rate. There is also room for time-skips, but I will always notify the group before I do this.
✰ God-modding, spotlighting, and power-playing aren't allowed here. This is a clan where everyone is living out their own stories, each character is a main character in their own right. Don't play other people's characters unless given express permission.
✰ You may not join with a motherless kit unless you have asked the mods beforehand and worked out a solution. Also, apprentices may not have mates or kits.
✰ In this rp, leaders and one of the medicine cats are npcs. This is to avoid situations where a group is trying to rp and needs either or both of these roles and the rper isn't on.
✰ Living in the wild is dangerous. Many cats are killed, succumb to illness/injury, disappear, run away, etc. Please be open to losing your characters. It keeps things new and interesting. Remember all cats die eventually and rarely of old age.
✰ LGBTQ+ characters are accepted and welcome! If this isn't to your tastes, this isn't the clan for you.
✰ Cats cannot have the prefix or suffix: crow, swan, or owl. Cats of SwanClan can't have the words: sun, moon, sky, or star anywhere in their name. Every prefix can be used twice per clan.

HISTORY
The three clans have been around for generations, founded by a group of former warriors from clans with names lost to time. Differences of opinion and morals split them in two at the beginning. Owlfang's group, who valued wisdom and teamwork fought with Swanleaf's group that valued pride and spirituality above all else. Then another group splintered off and headed up into the mountains, led by Crowspark. His group didn't want anything to do with the politics between the other cats and focused more on honor and survival. As the seasons passed, each clan developed its own customs and way of life. Even still, they all still gather together every full moon and follow the same Warrior Code.

5/9/22 - The rp is getting up and running!

5/23/22 - A week was hopped forward in the rp! Lots of shipping has happened. xD
OwlClan
5/23/22 - A week has passed in OwlClan. Two sunrises ago, Blue Team and Pink Team went on a border patrol together - mostly due to the numerous complaints Lightningstar had received about in-fighting in the Blue Team, only partly due to the tension with SwanClan. The patrol came across a SwanClan patrol and some nasty words were exchanged. Foxblaze, Rowanspots and Ashstripe were key in instigating the argument. Luckily, Tawnystripe and Leafdance - among some SwanClan cats - were able to defuse the situation enough that no blows were exchanged. Lightningstar was displeased with the news, still unsure whether the right choice is to head to war.

5/23/22 - A week has passed in SwanClan. Two sunrises ago, the sun-high patrol that checked out the Mossy Stones ran into an OwlClan patrol. Otterfrost, who had been leading the patrol, managed to keep his clan-mates from attacking, though it was a close thing. There were some barbed words and jagged taunts passed between the two groups. Aloestar was outraged, almost storming over to skin herself some OwlClan cats, but Cloudberry was able to calm her down. There was a group training session for the apprentices yesterday afternoon, run by Silverdawn. They learned some water-based battle moves and are likely a bit exhausted still.

5/23/22 - A week has passed in CrowClan. At the beginning of the week, Ravenswoop, Shadepelt, and Pipitpaw had a run in with an eagle. There were minor injuries but the trio used stealth to escape without any life-threatening wounds. Cardinalstar was relieved that everyone made it home safe but had a few quiet words with his warriors about being alert. Cats weren't allowed to go farther than the Champion's Cave without two other warriors with them for a few days. Thankfully, the reigns have loosened back up a bit. Life goes on as it usually does. Hazelpool mentioned something about being low on goldenrod and comfrey, something that needs remedied.
