History
FloodClan has only existed for ~60 moons, It was founded by Floodstar, A silver tabby she-cat, after StarClan came and delivered a omen to two cats; Flood and Reef; after disaster struck the local cat colonies. A hurricane had wiped through the sea tribe and hill tribe causing mass casualties and the dissolving of the two groups when she was just 7 moons old. A prophecy of rushing water and a group of triumphant cats on the shore was set to the young cats in their dreams and they banded together to recruit as many of their old, and new, tribe members together again creating their own Clans. FloodClan, The determined and brave, who live in the great hollow. And ReefClan, who lives in the coral reefs in the bay.
Appearance & Other Traits
Most FloodClan Cats are fluffy but light-weight and nimble, they often have long tails for balancing, and sharp eyesight to spot prey and birds. They like to lay in the sun and often climb the steep walls of the camp to sleep on the Sun-Ledges.
Traditions & Superstitions
Moving Camp:
After the first rain of new-leaf, FloodClan cats have a quarter moon to leave, and salvage, camp. If they take longer than that, then the camp starts to flood and they have to turn to ReefClan to help. (Which they don't like.) They move Elders, Queens, Kits, and the Medicine cat first,then the Medicine apprentice, apprentices, warriors, deputy, then finally the leader. They climb out the hollow to the camp on the rim, they stay there until the flooding stops. (Usually green-leaf.) The flooding never reaches over halfway full.
