better idea: there are still descendant, but none of them live at "the barn" anymore or anywhere near each other. what's clan basically.

โข about Generations ago, Hazeclan perished after the eruption of Mount St. Helens. Starclan had warned the clan of the coming danger, yet only nine heeded the warning and left.
The role play will be focused on the descendants of the nine as they made their return to Hazeclan's homeland. The descendants will be joined by a few of their friends for the travel.
We will follow through their journey as the group meets and travels back towards their ancestral homeland. They'll have to learn what it means to become a clan once more. They'll face trials & risks of having a new territory and figure out if they want to believe in starclan and a code.
main idea:
a prophecy, once our four main characters have been claimed. (or maybe i'll rage-quit and starclan will just visit them & tell them straight out)
meet at the "meeting place" then the traveling part will start
___________________________________ โข the beginningHazeclan used to be a formidable clan. They had strong warriors with pelts of every color and bright eyes. They lived among the mountain and its valley for generations.
They had a humble beginning. Hazeclan started informally by an abandoned house-cat "Snowbell" and two rogues "Bark & Branch" who found each other in the wilderness and decided to stay together. The trio attracted more long-lost felines, and their group grew over time. One day, an old, scarred cat named Raggedtail appeared. He was welcomed into the group and in return, he told them about his lost home and a way of organization: a clan.
It was difficult to be organized. The group never knew that anarchy would fall upon them without true leadership and structure. The first leadership rules were Snowstar(Snowbell), Grasstumble(Max), and Pebbleshine (Pebble).

Bluepoppy repeated. Her blue eyes round as she looked at her old friend, Elkstar, pleading with him to see reason. However, her heart sank at his dismissive look. She knew Elkstar. She knew he wasn't fond of Starclan. Her leader has suffered much through the past year. His two oldest kits died in a rock slide, and then his mate and their second litter died from complications. However, the medicine cat hoped that the stubborn tom would see reason.
"Elkstar," the molly started with a rough whisper, "This is serious. Starclan wouldn't tell us a false omen. Something is going to happen to the mountain, our home," she insisted. Her words coming out as soft hisses in her desperation to make the tom see reason.
Elkstar huffed. He believed that Bluepoppy believed that something was going to happen. All of this talk about a river of fire and destroying the mountain? That was a tall tale.
"The mountain is strong, nothing is going to happen to us," he insisted, brushing aside her concerns and pushed himself to his paws, intending to leave the medicine cat to her thoughts. "Don't speak of this, nobody needs to be alarmed," Elkstar meowed with firm words over his shoulder.
Bluepoppy's fur bristled around her shoulders at his dismissal. "They need to know! This is an omen that can't be ignored" she yowled, springing to her paws, "Something is going to happen, and you know it! The earth has been shaking! You can't ignore that, Elkstar," she meowed in an equally firm tone. The starclan cats looked somber and fearful when they spoke to her. They knew something, and they were trying to keep the clan safe.
Over the next week, the medicine cat and leader butted heads.
Bluepoppy went ahead and told the clan of the omen. While Elkstar was swift to dismiss the claims and restate that the mountain was safe. There was no reason to abandon their perfectly safe home.
The clan was divided; however, most of the clan agreed with Elkstar. The thought of their strong mountain being destroyed? That was an absurd idea. Starclan was wrong. They had to be.
Eight cats sided with Bluepoppy, believing what the medicine cat said was true. With heavy hearts, they said their goodbyes to their family and friends. Wishing them well and opening that omen was wrong. If it was, they would return.
The small group left. They traveled south. However, after a quarter-moon of walking, they noticed a shaking in the ground, and they looked to the skies behind them. There was darkness.
Their clan was dead. They knew deep down that Hazeclan was only the nine of them now.
They continued on until they found a barn with a few cats. The barn cats welcomed the group, especially when Bluepoppy was able to save their friend, and they noticed the kits travelling with the clan group.
The nine settled down at the old farm. They didn't have a home anymore, but they had each other.

โข culture The group is not religious like their ancestors. They have been rogues for so long and some of them cannot even imagine what starclan is. a group of star-furred cats that are supposed to guide them? pfft.
There are many possible points of views towards Starclan.
โข Some cats are firm believers in their ancestors. They grew up hearing stories passed down about Hazeclan, and they have stars in their eyes. They believe in the future of the clan and willing to do anything to see it happen. Furthermore, they believe Starclan is real.
โข Some cats are fond of their friends and families; however, this thing about dead cats claiming to their ancestors? It is crazy talk. They believe the clan can survive in the forest without the help of restless ghosts.
โข Some cats are indifferent. They might not exactly believe in Starclan. They will go along with it. Likewise, they have a small spark of hope that something bigger is out, but at the end of the day? They really don't care. ___________________________________

Once the group settles, this territory will be more defined with landmarks that the clan finds and names.
Some key locations
โข Mount St Helens - still active volcano. the clan will likely experience earthquakes now and then, occasionally eruptions, but those haven't happened in a decade (not that they know that. Fictionally, we could explore another eruption with the group)
โข Forest (idk these maps are hard to read so i don't know the forest names yet)
โข rivers - 3 rivers systems (Toutle, Kalama, and Lewis) are near the Mount; we'll figure out which one the clan will settle near.
