I read it right after The Silent Thaw after a small shower break. Bristlefrost is my favorite perspective in this series so far, but I wish she had more defining traits. I do have a feeling she might become an all time favorite, though, by the time I am done with this series. I love Tigerstar and Dovewing as parents and how Dovewing seems comfortable in ShadowClan. Also, Ashfur!Bramblestar is completely unhinged and you know what, I am here for it. He’s possibly the most chaotic villain in Warriors and it’s almost sad to see how other leaders got fooled by his delusions. Flipclaw seems cool. I also liked the scenes between Lionblaze and Crowfeather and just overall family dynamics. Also, that scene when Jayfeather was prepared to defend his adoptive mother was nice. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/6575102/images/lNtnPuxeCzkaKMNYVXVv.gif)

I'm still reading the 3rd book, and I have to say, Bristlefrost is definitely the most entertaining character. 😄 I like her cleverness, but Rootspring's character takes the cake. He is just so sweet, giving Shadowsight company when he was stressed about his Clan, and trying to cheer Bristlefrost up.

Really speeding through them, huh? They are pretty short books being novels for kids. Their length and simplicity is something I appreciate about them, especially considering I’ve been reading fantasy book series that contain 600 to 900 pages each book and a lot of world building. Warriors is a nice and easy read. But I also want to start joining book discussions again for when new books get released so I wanna catch up before River is out. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/6575102/images/lNtnPuxeCzkaKMNYVXVv.gif)

New reads take me two hours at most.
