What's your opinion on him? Other than him being a worrywart, I really don't feel anything toward him other than I think he's just nice. I do pity him and his worrying though.

He's.....fine. A lot of missed opportunities and wasted potential, but I don't dislike him.

I didnβt really enjoy his chapters as much as I enjoyed Bristlefrost and Rootspringβs. He just felt β¦ boring? Like I donβt dislike him or anything, but I didnβt really look forward to his chapters. I really wanted to like him, but just canβt bring myself to care about him that much.

I like him, but I feel they could have made his personality...darker? After everything he went through. I like him the best in Darkness Within.

Eh, dislike on him. I adored him at first, but as TBC went on it felt like he simply existed to be a punching bag. It especially irked me when even the cast started acting out of sorts just to prolong his suffering. Yeah no thanks, glad his POVs are gone. I might be missing something but, does Shadowsight still have his seizures? No Iβm pretty sure he stopped having them pretty early on. And now thatβs heβs cute off from Starclanβ¦ |

I love him so much, I love how he takes agency. I also just love how his arc comes full circle and how his self sacrificing shenanigans get met with him realizing the consequences in the end with how broken the friends and family of cats who die. Combined with his realistic response to trauma, I really think they did a good job with him. We also haven't had a disabled lead since Jayfeather, which is like a decade ago.
He is a bit of a punching bag though, I will agree to that. I wish they expanded on his connection with his ThunderClan family as well as his status as a technically half clan cat.

I love him. Juniperclaw and Shadowsight are my favorite characters. Nightheart/Flamepaw is up there too, as is Snowtuft. |

I wish they expanded on his connection with his ThunderClan family as well as his status as a technically half clan cat. the dove x tiger kits are actually more thunderclan than shadowclan, because tigerheart was half-thunderclan from tawnypelt. that makes shadowsight 3/4 thunderclan by blood. |
