-a mother killed her own pup
-a city is littered with dead humans
-a dog’s leg gets shot off
-a dog chews his paw off
-vivid description of maggots
-a lot of puppy death for only having like 15 books
-a dog’s bottom jaw gets torn off, not once, but twice
-implications of slavery for the Wild Pack in Lucky’s visions
This is what I remember even though it’s been years since I’ve read the books.
