Welcome to the WispClan and ShardClan Joining Page! This thread serves as the location where characters are created and approved. There's plenty of helpful information to aid you along the way, including brief descriptions of both Clans, the character profile sheet itself and its legendarium, and more!

REDEN - Reden was a major pinnacle in the development of the Clans. Not only did they bear the titles as both the creator and (now former) leader of ShardClan, they were a fantastic helping hand in the development of many finer points for WispClan as well. Neither Clan would not be where they are today - and in ShardClan's case, it wouldn't have existed at all - if it weren't for them. It was an honor working with them.
FALLENLEAVES - Fallenleaves proved to be the saving grace for WispClan's introduction page, which was at the time a whisker's length close to being cut entirely. They have also made several excellent suggestions plot wise, but those will have to remain under wraps for now. Spoilers!
DAWNMIST - Dawnmist is the current head of ShardClan. Without her, ShardClan may not have survived following the pass of the torch from Reden. They were also responsible for filling out the remaining incomplete sections on the ShardClan page. You have everyone's thanks, and it's been an honor working with them thus far. |

WISPCLAN
WispClan is a highly spiritual, down to Earth, and very traditional group of cats who center their lives on preserving the "balance in all things" or the "natural order". Their culture seldom sees any form of change, great or tiny; often tens of generations go by without any kind of discernible evolution.
Their territory primarily consists of lush birch forests and vast steppes that provide breathtaking vistas, with the latter primarily located closer towards the edges of the coast, especially towards the very top or bottom of the region. They enjoy a great abundance of prey from both the land and the ocean, and thus rarely go hungry even during the coldest of seasons.
WispClan considers cats from their neighboring Clan, ShardClan, to be "tainted". (This would also naturally extend to all outsiders, but given WispClan's isolated location, many are unaware of the existence of other cats beyond their and ShardClan's hunting grounds.) Other stereotypes they have latched onto in regards to them are that they are entirely too paranoid, selfish, aggressive, blunt, and rigid.
Youthful WispClan cats are generally good-mannered, highly faithful, crafty, and intelligent. Their seniors and elders are typically limited by far greater tunnel vision, and are more venomous, bitter, and untrusting towards their sister Clan.
SHARDCLAN
ShardClan is a very logical clan with a strict emphasis on order and loyalty. Their harsh environment has caused them to prioritize survival above all else, but this also led them to become a tightly knitted clan with deep bonds. Their culture is a mesh of Clan and Tribe life, which is constantly adapting as needed. Even WispClan had held influence on the ShardClan that exists today.
Their territory consists of dark pine forests, streams and foothills. Herbs and prey are abundant throughout their territory, however, so are predators.
ShardClan sees the world for how it is, and rejects most spiritual things. Though they still hold a relationship with StarClan, it is distant- seeing it only as a final resting place with only a few cats ever contacting their ancestors. The Clan is wary of outsiders, even having some of their hunters specialize in spying to keep tabs on their neighboring Clan.
Death is common in the Clan, even the youngest members having experienced loss in their life. Despite this, some of the youth may seek to break out of the rigid lifestyle of their clan- though most still retain a stark distrust of outsiders. The senior members of the Clan often prioritize the safety of their family and Clan above all else, leading them to be harsh to whomever threatens what they love- even if they may be wrong in their judgement. The Clan as a whole often appears cold, calculating and apathetic, but there is warmth to be found within its’ heart. OUTSIDERS (RESTRICTED ATM) |

JOINING RULES
1) Follow the rules. Each rule is color coded to identify what the severity of the consequences will be if you break them.
Purple tier = Minor offense. No warnings will be given and you will not be under threat of suspension or termination.
Orange tier = Moderate offense. Your first and second violations will result in a written warning per offense. A further third violation will result in a suspension of one week. A fourth violation will result in prohibition of further participation within the roleplays.
(Note: For every 6 months that passes since your most recent violation, your earliest offense will be discounted. Think of it as an "extra life".)
Red tier = Major offense. A sole violation will result in automatic deletion and prohibition from further participation in the roleplays. There will be no option to appeal.
2) Listen to the mods. Mods will be assigned to monitor the Clan pages to ensure this remains a safe and inclusive environment. If you are not a mod, your level of authority will be more limited but you will still able to contribute. If you see anyone breaking rules highlighted within the orange or red tier, don't engage with them. Report any inappropriate behavior immediately by tagging Dark Sun or Dawnmist. If someone has already reported the incident, don't submit your own report, and instead simply upvote their post.
3) Respect. Treat everyone here how you want to be treated. Please be respectful and considerate of other people - remember that they are living people on the opposite end of the screen. Any homophobia, transphobia, biphobia, xenophobia, sexism, racism, etc. will be dealt with immediately.
If you have a personal problem with someone, please take it to a DM.
(Note: If you post a word that is a slur and you were unaware for it to be considered as such, you will not be punished if you apologize, edit the message in question to remove the problematic word, and agree to never use it here again.)
4) LGBTQ+. LGBTQ+ characters have full acceptance here. If you have a problem with this, then these roleplays aren't for you. This extends into roleplay - anti-LGBTQ characters are prohibited.
5) Follow the forum rules. This is a PG-13 roleplay. Let's try to keep it at that. Forced mating, pregnant apprentices, moderate or heavy references toward sexual innuendo, elaborate descriptions of birthing, torture, excessive violence and gore, and detailed scenarios of kits dying are all strictly prohibited, along with many other tasteless examples that I did not include here.
6) Invite only & joining. As you have noticed, both of these roleplays and all other relevant forum pages are listed as invite only. This acts as a soft filter system for random people joining who might only post one-liners, who might join and quickly leave without a trace, so forth. This is not an attempt at gatekeeping - we simply want people to join who we think would add to the experience, not subtract from it.
In short: Not everyone can join, but anyone can.
If you want to join the RP's, send Dark Sun or Dawnmist a DM and await a response. If we approve of your message, we will ask for you to complete the following tasks in order to be accepted:
1) Provide a sample piece of your work that is a minimum of 6-8 lines long. Check out the Literacy(9) and Post Length(10) rules below for further details. If you have participated in a public roleplay in the past or you are engaging in one that is still ongoing, you can provide the link to the DM partner in question so that we may review your posts. If your work is accepted and approved, then move onto step 2.
2) Write down three of the rules presented here in this bubble (category) in your own words and submit them in the DM thread you engaged with earlier. Note that they cannot be adjacent to each other. (Ex. You could type out rules 5, 7, and 9, but you could not select rules 5, 6, and 7.)
Upon submission and approval, you will receive a unique password that you will use for all of your future character profiles.
7) Age. The minimum required age to roleplay here is 18. If you join and you are later revealed to currently be or were a minor at the time of your joining, your presence here will be terminated with no option to appeal.
8) Activity. It is encouraged that you make at least one post a week for most characters that you roleplay. We all have lives outside the forums or life can get in the way, we perfectly understand! Communication is encouraged and going AWOL will result in actions being taken. Read below for details.
If you don't respond within 8 days, a DM will be forwarded to you. You won't be in trouble, don't worry! We will be checking on your to see how you are doing, followed by an inquiry on your absence.
If you don't respond within 2 weeks, then a further DM message will be sent to you, giving you a friendly reminder that your characters are gathering dust and should probably see some activity relatively shortly. Some of your characters may be temporarily roleplayed by someone else if you do not respond, particularly if their current involvement requires ongoing activity, such as if they're involved in a current plot. Rest assured, strict stipulations will be put in place and they will return to you in the form you left them in. No deaths, no disease, no injuries, no fuss, no muss. If they're not as important to the plot at the time, they will only be mentioned by name and nothing more while you are away.
If you don't respond within a month, then your characters will be killed off. You'll also be placed in the Inactive Members list on this thread until your return.
If you don't respond within two months, then your name will be stripped from the Active / Inactive Members sections entirely. If you wish to join again in the future, you'll have to revisit rule #6 within the bubble ("Invite only & joining").
If you wish to take a break that is beyond a week's length, notifying us would be greatly appreciated. If you feel like you won't be back for an extended period, the option will be presented to you for your character(s) to be temporarily used by others until your return, to be permanently adopted by someone else within the roleplay, or to be killed off.
TL;DR: Please post once per week as a bare minimum. If you need time off, please notify us. Going radio silent for a long period may result in your characters getting killed off in order to keep the roleplays flowing.
9) Literacy. You must be literate. Good grammar, proper punctuation, and spelling are all expected. This means full sentences that are coherent and easy to understand.
10) Post length. It is expected for each user to post a minimum of 6-8 full lines when roleplaying. In order to allow for everyone to enjoy this roleplay, it is requested that you include in-depth details of your character's actions, environment, thoughts and feelings. Please include a sentence of dialogue, internal or external, whenever possible. Posts that simply state actions without any other context can cause your fellow RPers to have a difficult time with responses.
11) No spamming. Any trolling, flaming or spamming will be deleted. If you see someone engaging in these problematic actions, report the issue immediately. If a user has already reported it, instead of making your own submission, we request that you upvote theirs instead.
12) Casual chatter. Casual chat in the roleplay threads are certainly allowed, unless they turn into a full-blown conversation that spans entire pages. Let's try to not allow it to get to that point.
13) Godmodding. Unless you go about it excessively or handle it immaturely, Godmodding won't be considered a serious offense. Do it once, you'll be asked to reverse your decision. Repeat the offense, and necessary actions will be taken.
If you don't know what Godmodding is, here are a couple of examples.
1) Mary/Gary Sue characters are not permitted. Give your characters depth, flaws, personal obstacles they have to overcome - don't make them excel at everything. Your character also will not succeed or win at every hunt or battle encounter. Your character is not invincible nor perfect.
2) Your character should not be omnipotent and all-seeing. If a conversation is intended to only be heard by its participants (i.e. they were whispering), don't have your character listen in and capture the entire conversation. Similarly, what goes on in the character's rival Clan stays within the borders of said Clan.
14) Big brother. It is typically considered rude to pry into the private lives of others. Unwanted discussions of relationships, romantic interests, motherhood/fatherhood, kit rearing/weaning and retirement are considered faux pas. Cats that engage in rumors and gossip or attempt to force their opinions onto others in an attempt to control them are looked down upon.
To avoid setting off triggers that some users may have, don't have a character creepily pry or be judgmental in regards to the subject matters listed below.
Ex. 1: Relationships - A cat can ask another cat if they are romantically interested in another cat (either in general or towards a specific individual). They cannot pursue the conversation further if the other party doesn't wish to discuss it. Teasing, harassment, and rumor spreading isn't allowed.
Ex. 2: Parenthood - A cat can ask another cat if they ever considered or are considering settling down with kits. They cannot pursue the conversation further if the other party doesn't wish to discuss it. Teasing, harassment, and rumor spreading isn't allowed.
Ex. 3: Weaning - Queens can ask another Queen when she is going to wean her offspring, and/or they can offer to take over if they notice the other she-cat isn't happy in the nursery. They cannot pursue the conversation further if the other party doesn't wish to discuss it. Teasing, harassment, and rumor spreading isn't allowed.
Ex. 4: Retirement - If a cat is no longer in their prime and is slowing down, cats can hint at that they might want to join the Elders' den. They cannot pursue the conversation further if the other party doesn't wish to discuss it, unless their physical state is concerning, in which case the Healer / Mender or the Clan leaders will step in. Teasing, harassment, and rumor spreading isn't allowed.
15) Kit stealing. All attempts at kit stealing will be ignored. This will further result in suspension or deletion. If the offender is a random, a permanent ban will be put in place on them participating in the future.
16) Canon lore. For all intents and purposes, the canon books are not a part of this universe. Don't expect to find any of the canon Clans or characters over the next ridge of mountains.
17) The passage of RP time. In order for a day to be completed in either roleplay, at least one mentor must have finished a training session with their student, one hunting and border patrol must have been completed, and most characters must have interacted with at least three of their Clanmates.
If one Clan is day(s) behind the other, a time skip may take place in order for them to catch up, if it is agreed upon by users from both sides.

LEGENDARIUM
This is the legendarium for the official character template up above. Read all of the following information down below to gain a further understanding of what to include or not include in your OC's profile!
Also check out the WispClan and ShardClan pages up above! Those bubbles contain valuable insight into the cultures of each Clan respectively.
1) Name. Your character's name goes here. If they have had a former name, be sure to include it in parenthesis, or curved brackets.
Example: Frostclaw (formerly Frost)
Be sure to check out the Roleplay Lore and/or the Traditions and Ceremonies bubbles located at the official RP pages and on the Planning Page (links are in the Directory bubble up above) to learn how each Clan names their kits and adolescent cats.
2) Body Type. Your character's body type (tom-cat or she-cat, or tom-kit or she-kit respectively) goes here.
3) Age. Your character's age goes here. The terminologies for "month" and "year" differ between the Clans, so be sure to adapt your wording when needed!
WispClan calls months "phases", named after the phases of the moon, which they in turn call the "Silver-eye." They use the term "season cycle" in replacement of the word "year" to describe the completion of the four seasons.
ShardClan calls months "moons". They use the term "year" to describe the completion of the four seasons.
If you want to know how to describe your character's age, refer to the formulas down below!
Example (WispClan): Age: 26 phases old (Approx. 2 season cycles)

(Note: Every time a moon/phase passes in the RPs, all character profiles will be updated for you to reflect their advancing age.)
4) Gender Identity. Your character's gender identity goes here.
5) Pronouns. Your character's preferred pronouns go here.
6) Preferences. Your character's romantic/physical preferences, or lack thereof, go here. You can either choose to use everyday terms like "gay" or "ace/aro" or "bi", or you can simply put "tom-cats" and/or "she-cats" in this category if you want.
If your character is a kit or a young adolescent (i.e. under the age of 9 moons/phases), put "undetermined" instead.
7) Allegiance. If your character belongs to a Clan, list the Clan's name here. (WispClan or ShardClan, respectively.)
If they do not belong to a Clan, put in the appropriate label, such as kittypet, rogue, loner, or barn cat.
If the character was exiled from their Clan, put "Banished", followed by their former Clan's name in closed brackets or parenthesis.
(Note: Outsiders are currently prohibited so that the roleplay can initially exclusively focus on the 2 Clans. When these positions open up and you want kittypet**, loner, rogue, or barn cat characters, please make a personal request first.)
(**Due to the lack of a Twolegplace in the region, and the lack of Twoleg activity in general, kittypets will remain closed off until much later. If as part of a future plot Clan cats venture far away from their forest home to where Twoleg activity is greatly increased, then the creation of kittypets will be permitted.)
8) Rank. If your character is a part of a Clan, their respective rank goes here. If they are a kittypet, loner, rogue, or barn cat, put "none" instead.
(Note: If your character is a Guardian or Novice from WispClan, put "Swimmer" or "Runner" after this designation. "Twin Hunters" also exist, but these are extremely rare, and the frequency of their creation will be restricted.)

9) Beliefs. Your character's spiritual beliefs, or lack thereof, goes here.
If your character is from WispClan, put "The Risen, nature spirits".
If your character is from ShardClan, put "StarClan".
If your character doesn't follow any kind of faith or supernatural phenomena, put "none".
10) Kin. Your character's immediate family goes here, including their parents and siblings. List them by name first, followed by their relationship in the immediate family tree.
Example: Duskfeather (mother), Redbark (father), Drizzlepelt (older brother), Tanglepelt (younger sister).
If a particular family member is unknown, such as a parent, put "unknown" in place of their name, and specify their label in the family tree.
If your character doesn't have any siblings, there's no need to put "none"; just don't include any information.
If a family member is deceased, include that information.
11) Mate/Kits. If your character has a mate and/or kits, that information goes here. If they are deceased, include that detail.
If your character does not have a mate or kits, put "none".
12) Password. Your unique password goes here.
13) User. Your username goes here.
14) **Cause of Death. The cause and time (age) of your character's death will be detailed here. There's no need to include this in the Age category unless they're already deceased before the time of roleplay. If and when your character dies in roleplay, this information will be updated for you by the RP's owner.
15) **Mentoring. If your character is currently mentoring a student before the time of roleplay, put the category "Mentoring" below "Beliefs" and above "Kin", and label their student's name there.
If your character has already been created and they later acquire a student, this will be done for you.
This category will be removed when they are no longer mentoring a student.
1) BASIC INFORMATION. The main category that includes all of the character's general info, such as name, age, body type, etc.
2) PHYSICAL APPEARANCE. Describe your character's physical characteristics here. Include a description of their pelt and their body type, followed by characteristic details such as ear size, tail length, paw & claw size, eye color, scars, etc.
3) PERSONALITY & MENTAL TRAITS. Describe your character's personality and mental traits here. Brainstorm and display your character's personality in as great detail as possible.
4) HISTORY. An optional category. As your character is played out in the RP over time, you can include important events that happened to them throughout their life here. You can also include information about their past if you want.
5) MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION.
Miscellaneous information about your OC goes here. (Ex. Your character's favorite prey-type, if they have a phobia, if they have a disability, etc.) Only list trivia that will prove to be relevant to that character! For instance, there's no point detailing starlings as their favorite prey-type to eat if that's never mentioned on occasion.
CHAR. CREATION RULES
1) Character template. The template above is there for you to use. Do not use another character sheet. When you create your OC, do not alter the template in any way that is outside of the set perimeters.
2) Understanding the Clans. Before you create any characters for either Clan, it would be helpful for you to know what they are all about. Check out the Clan pages (links are in the Directory page above) and read over the following lore, Clan position sections, etc. before you take the plunge. Alternatively, check out the WispClan and ShardClan bubbles below for a summarized piece on each Clan respectively.
3) Character count. There is no limit to how many characters you can create, but have mercy on yourself! Know your limits and stay within them, unless you are especially confident.
4) LGBTQ+. LGBTQ+ characters are fully accepted here! Don't create any characters with anti-LGBTQ perspectives.
5) Problematic designs. There are certain features which are not okay to include in your character's profile. The following restrictions are as follows:
Ex. 1: A feather behind the ear. Do not include this EVER.
Ex. 2: Any other natural "decoration" on the body. A flower on the tail, a fern on the shoulder, etc.
Ex. 3: Any kind of "stylized" feature on your cat's pelt, like a swirl on the shoulder, a crescent shape wrapping around a sphere on their forehead, etc.
I, Dark Sun, do not have any Indigenous ancestry, and therefore it's not my trauma. All of the restrictions above come from the voices of people who are Indigenous. These measures are put in place out of understanding and respect. May no member break this seal. Thank you.
6) Believable looking characters. We are all probably aware that some of the pelt choices in the canon series aren't exactly the most realistic in the world, and that's perfectly fine, but please don't stretch any level of feasibility here. Please don't create cats with wings, or with rainbow colored fur, or that have unconventional names (such as Dragonfoot or Pillowpelt), so forth.
7) Clan positions. The higher ranking cats have already been passed down to some of the first members of the roleplays - this was done to ensure that Dark Sun and Dawnmist wouldn't be playing as all of them. These individuals were selected carefully and no favoritism was involved.
As a newer member, you'll be restricted to the following positions within WispClan: Kit, Queen, Novice, Guardian, Elders' Shadow., and similar ranking positions within ShardClan, which include: Kit, Queen, Elder, Novice Fledgling, Hunter Fledgling, Defender Fledgling, Hunter, Defender.
If you want to gain access to roleplaying as higher-ranking cats, all you have to do is stick around! Be consistent, hang around the block for a while, and a minimum of 6 months later you may receive a surprise DM announcing that these positions are now open to you if they become available!
8) Outsiders. There are no Twolegs in this secluded region of the world, so that means no kittypets either! Rogues and loners are prohibited as of the time of writing this since we want the focus to be on the two Clans for now. Eventually this soft ban will be lifted, but even then unless a plot says otherwise (ex. a group of rogues passing through the local area), available positions will be quite limited.
9) Queens & kits. You can join as a kit, but they will need a minimum of one parent/guardian to look after them. Please ask someone who is roleplaying as an expecting or nursing queen if you can roleplay as a kit from their litter - they can be related by blood, or they can be adopted. If there are no positions available, then I'm afraid you'll have to wait unless you wish to also roleplay as a Queen.
Until the soft ban (see above) has been lifted, rogue / loner kits are currently prohibited.
If you want your queen to be a permanent fixture in the nursery, at least one of the two following requirements must be met:
1) They have raised a minimum of 2 litters in the past.
2) They have a disability that prevents them from rejoining their regular duties.
A queen may have a maximum of 3 kits. An additional kit may be added to the bunch under rare circumstances - only if there are no other queens present and the kit(s) lack a mother.
10) Character naming. You are allowed to choose the prefixes and suffixes of your characters during graduation ceremonies. However, the way the Clans go about the naming process is quite unlike the canon Clans.
In WispClan, kits remain nameless until they visit the Spirit Tree, a most sacred place, at the age of 6 phases (moons). At the end of the ceremony, their first name is presented to them by the spirits. Their last name is given to them when they reach the age of 12 phases and attend a similar ritual.
In ShardClan, cats are not given names until they are of similar ages. Faintlight is a skittish molly due to the abuse she suffered, before that she was a sweet but quiet she-cat. Exactly the reason she was a perfect target for Sunstone's cruelty. She often avoids her clanmates gazes and when spoken directly to she is always clearly uncomfortable, her voice always a whisper.
Faintlight, once simply known as Faint, fell hard for the brave and charming Sun as a novice. She couldn't believe it upon discovering he returned her affections and they planned to become mates as soon as they were old enough. At first Faintlight's insecurity allowed for the verbal abuse, truly believing she was inferior to Sunstone and doing her best to live up to her expectations. This opened the gateway to the physical abuse, which she took without argument. However when she discovered she was with kits Faintlight begged Sunstone to stop and the tom agreed. However the mender's news that she might have a difficult kitting and that the kits themselves might be weak as Faintlight had been as a kit, Sunstone was sent into a seething rage and on a walk through the forest attacked her once more. This time however Faintlight's love for her kits overread anything else and she kicked him of her, sending Sunstone into the unforgiving rivers current and to his death.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE | Juniperberry is a medium-haired cathedral gray she-cat of average size. PERSONALITY | Juniperberry is an admirable figure many look up to - she is rational and almost always knows the best course of action in any given moment, even under times of extreme stress. Her wisdom has not addled, nor has her guiding compass - a life dedicated to duty, honor, and sacrifice. They are a relatively large tom-cat, although little in the means of muscle. Instead of sheer strength, the build consists of hardiness, a consequence of the rough, bumpy, and uncomfortable environment in which they call their home; the occasional slip, fall, bash, cut and bruise isn't uncommon for them. Their paws are often a little bloodied as a result. Nonetheless, they keep their fur coat as beautiful and as soft as a kit's. His paws, muzzle and face are crystal white, his large fluffy ears are splattered gray, and the tip of his tail is of a similar shade to his ears. PHYSICAL APPEARANCE | Lilyheart is a primarily white she-cat of average size. Her fur moderately long and very soft and fluffy. Her eyes are an enchanting dark green color with yellow centers. Her beautiful fur is as sleek as an otter's, perfectly streamlined for her activities as a fish hunter. Dark brown flecks are sprinkled across her back, while several large brown splotches are plastered irregularly on places such as her haunches and butt, the tip of her tail, behind her left ear, and her muzzle.
Lilyheart typically boasts a lithe build during the colder phases and becomes plumper in the warmer times of the ear when the ocean is restocked with schools of fatty fish. She is often described as one of WispClan's most beautiful she-cats; heavy emphasis is placed on her bodacious, elegant figure, her gorgeous pelt, and her youthful face coupled with those startling eyes of hers. Her ears, while not as striking as her sister's, are conspicuous nonetheless. PERSONALITY | Much like her younger sister Silentsong, Lilyheart is driven by duty and the service to her Clan. Both she-cats inherited their mother's temper and direct nature, although unlike either she-cat, Lilyheart does her best to attempt to overcome the former by suppressing it deep within her. Her social skills are lacking - not out of an inability to feel or connect with others on a personal level, but out of ill-developed means to express herself clearly without sounding plain or rude. Her face is often expressionless, making it difficult to read her emotions, if she's feeling any at all. She is also terrible at accepting compliments, opting to an attempt to change the subject. Lilyheart has many deep insecurities about her, including her social life (or almost lack thereof) and her hidden temper. To prevent herself from spiraling into a pit of despair, she has turned herself into a workaholic to keep her mind distracted as much as possible.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE | Larkflight is a light acorn brown tabby tom and is of an average size. He has fiery hot amber eyes. His fur is of moderate length. Jet black details line more detailed portions of his body including his muzzle and the outlines of his ears; his paws are white. Thick lighter brown rings wrap around his eyes. The fur on his forelegs is detailed with stripes. A small splash of white is visible on his chest. Many deep scars run along his back, a result of him almost being taken by a large falcon as a kit, and although some of the fur has grown back, some pink flesh still remains exposed; he chooses to wear these marks with courage and pride rather than with shame or disgust.
PERSONALITY | Larkflight is an easygoing, laidback and cheerful tom who is rarely in a foul mood. While he is a very sociable individual, his skills are utterly abhorrent in the romance department. He has set his eyes on perhaps too many toms and she-cats, and has not yet learned the social etiquette of keeping his gaze to himself (read: not staring), and he has little to no clue how to approach any cat without making a fool out of himself. He doesn't just desire one mate, but at least two, preferably several - being in a large polyamorous group is one of his personal fantasies, born out of pure happiness instead of perhaps expected perverted thoughts. Larkflight almost always has the energy of an excited jackrabbit. He finds it abundantly difficult to sit in one place for any longer than a few heartbeats. Her unkempt pelt consists of a variety of shades of gray, ranging from relatively dark to the color of mist, with the latter taking the form of thick bands that run along the sides of her back, and the top of her back is of the darkest shade. All of her head, including her ears, and starting from her paws and making half-way up the length of her legs, are also a very dark gray. A small slash of white is present on her very fluffy chest fur. Tinyflame boasts a slim appearance complete with narrow legs and tail, dainty paws, and a thinning midsection, but not to the point of her ribs showing. PHYSICAL APPEARANCE | Frostfeather is a once-pretty she-cat of an average size. Her fur is of moderate length. The majority of her fur is as white as a snowflake, with gray flecks dotting the back of her pelt all over like sprinkled pebbles. She has minty green eyes. Her body is fairly plain and average - there is little to say of her tail, legs, paws, or other details. The exceptions to this are her ears, which stand proud and strong like snow-layered mountains - a characteristic trait of many cats in her family tree. PERSONALITY | In her earlier moons Frostfeather was allegedly a very sweet, gentle mother, but after losing more than one litter she became cold and bitter over time. PHYSICAL APPEARANCE | Sizzle is a large, stocky, handsome tom-cat with a fluffy coat of fur. The fur is longest at his chest and on the underside of his tail. The base of his pelt is a dark ash gray, with a white (almost yellowish) throat, chest, underbelly, and haunches. Several elongated, thick lines of black fur run across his topside from the base of his tail up to and along the nape of his neck, and continuing to the top of his head. The outlines of his toes and ears are a mix of solid black and white, with the former exclusively on his left side and the latter on his right. PERSONALITY | Sizzle is a vibrant, enthusiastic young tom. Many of his mannerisms that he expressed as a kit have carried over into his Noviceship, including his seemingly endless energy, his curiosity, his shockingly short attention span, and his overall innocent demeanor. PERSONALITY | Often feeling weak compared to others because of his built, Fly has become insecure about his ability to become a good Novice. It's not like the other cats are mean towards him or anything.. he can just feel them judge his slender frame, especially when compared to Bee who looks muscular and strong. Maybe he just misses the convidence and maybe it's all in his head, just like all the worries about his family. With Beetle's health struggles and an absent father he often panics thinking about what the future will bring his family. He relies heavily on his siblings and he'd rather stick with them instead of other cats. Fly is very anxious, he scares easily and worries a lot trying to cope with the hardships his family had to endure from the moment they were born. His heart is in the right place and he often prays to the spirit of his father and the spirits of his ancestors to make him strong so that they can be proud of him.
Fly might not be able to praise himself for it yet, but his body built makes him quick on his feet and would make him a good hunter. His biggest challenge is to play to his own strengths and accept himself the way he is instead of wishing he was different.

PERSONALITY | Bee is exactly what a firstborn should look like; strong and healthy. HISTORY | Blackbriar had a different name at first, as she was part of the rogue group that mixed with Shardclan as they relocated to their new territory. Before their group met the clancats they had been struggling. After a sickness thinned out the group it was hard to protect themselves from the ruthless predators on the territory, who could smell their weakness. It was a group of badgers that finally took advantage of their vulnerable state, viciously attacking their camp. [The calico she-cat is built light, and slender. She is almost built as if she were made for elegance. It also seems as if she were made for swimming. She is sleek and just muscular enough. [The tom is built with muscles to spare. He is well-defined since he is a water-lover by nature. He swims regularly and enjoys using his strength for the good of others. He is a primarily chestnut male with white markings decorating his entire body. He has longer fur, but not enough to be in his way while he swims. He had sand-colored ears with black tips. His left ear is torn from the top and inwards which travels into a scar decorating the middle of his face from an accident as a kit. He has fluffy inner white ear-fur as well. His white markings are almost tribal life, and start at the top of his head and create a mask of his base chestnut color around his eyes. Most of his face is white with the exception of brown around his eyes, in other words. He has white shoulders and a brown chest that travels down to his underbelly and spreads to the rest of his body. He has white markings on his spine, spreading down his sides which gives him a wing-like appearance. His other white markings appear on the underside and the tip of his long and fluffy tail. While he is a natural swimmer, he is in no way slow due to his build. He knows exactly how to use his body in order to max out his speed when he swims.]
[Hawkpelt is a “tired dad” in best terms. Being Splashstone’s kit-hood friend can leave one exhausted and burn-out, but in a way that you have too much fun. It seems as if his battery is always low and flashing red, but somehow he does his duties with great execution. He excels in the water and loves to be in or near it. The rain is his favorite since he feels as if the ocean has been brought to him. He loves being able to use his strength to catch fish for the clanmates he is close to, and will sometimes sneak a few more for his favorites.
Hawkpelt is also an enthusiastic guardian. He loves that he can protect his home and family in the environment that he admires. He is passionate when he fights and takes training with the novices very seriously. The tom loves to train with those who are willing to learn and makes sure that everyone is properly knowledgable about all outcomes when it comes to battle. While he is a passionate fighter, Hawkpelt does not like conflict of any kind. If he had his choice, everyone would simply live in a world of butterflies and rainbows. However, he understands that life is not that way and likes to be prepared.]

PERSONALITY | Duskstar is a cynical, apprehensive, and solitary tom, which he blames his mother for. He was once a fun, joyful cat, often finding himself joking and making his group mates laugh. After his mother left he realized he must take things more seriously, as they were nearing the moving of the clan. He also realized that no one could be trusted, and he only trusts his clanmates to a certain degree.
