While watching a video a question from it got me thinking. Because of StarClan's bias and poor judgement, Ashfur was allowed into StarClan. This poor choice eventually lead to Bristlefrost having to sacrifice her mortal life and afterlife just to fix StarClan's mistake. If StarClan hadn't let Ashfur into StarClan and went about his trial with an unbiased outlook (Or had any wisdom at all) Bristlefrost and so many other Cats would still be alive. Mistakes like these are extremely damaging and should be avoided at all cost. It wasn't even like Ashfur being in StarClan or the Dark Forest was a hard choice. He'd helped kill a leader and attempted to murder three warrior all for some petty revenge against a girl who rejected him. Ivypool lost her daughter forever because StarClan's ignorance allowed for Ashfur to not only get into StarClan but find his way down into the mortal world.
I'm sorry for the rant or if I sound too harsh, in the end of the day it's not actually a big deal. It just feels good sometimes to rant about something insignificant.

Ivypool also lost her relationship with her sister because of StarClan. No, she shouldn't forgive them. She lost half of her family because of them.

There is a long chain of causality there leading up to that, and there are far more immediately responsible cats. Shadowsight let Ashfur go, for example, that was much more immediately responsible.

I don't think Ivypool is mad at StarClan and never will be except if the authors write her as such since most Clan cats still seem to look up to their ancestors even these days and Ivypool was not there to witness them trying so desperately to excuse their stupid decision of letting Ashfur into StarClan despite him not deserving it after all he did.

Ivypool can be mad at them for other reasons
But despite how terrible Ashfur was, there was no way they could have predicted a cat would have had the ability to take over a body and cut off Starclan. It had never happened before.
