[[ So sorry! Gold was out of the house by 9 this morning and got home at 9 in the evening, but spent the past hourish practicing for her cousin's wedding. Gold will post now and hopefully get a few posts in tomorrow. Gold will also post a starter for all of her available characters below her replies! If anyone wants, they can respond to said characters and Gold will get to them! c: ]] [[[ Also... we'll need characters who are PRO war so that we can have a story line! I think Bamboo mentioned it before, but I thought I'd reiterate: maybe just temporary characters we don't even add to the character page. Gotta keep the story going somehow, especially if our characters are all part of the uprising against the war ]]]
McKenzie shifted against Nick's warm body, struggling to stay still while the movie was playing. It was interesting to her, no doubt, but she wasn't sure how people stayed still for so long. She sat up away from Nick for a moment, reaching for her glass of water and the bowl of grapes before leaning back into him. She looked up at him, smiled, and then looked back to the television. "How do people do it?" she mused, taking a sip of her water.
I can have Katie, Abby, and Dylan/Ashton(haven't decided yet) be pro-war. ] Nick was focused on the movie, and he said distractedly,"Do what?" He was still besides eating chips and taking an occasional sip of his soda. He chuckled at Captain Jack Sparrow being himself. He wrapped his arm around Kenzie's shoulders, since she had moved, and his arm had fallen off her shoulders.

Austin nodded, "Hopefully," he answered as he followed Hydra through the portal, picturing himself in the mundane entrance of Central Park. Though he hadn't visited the other realm in a while, he knew that not much had changed since he'd been there. He shook his feet out, though he only wore a simple pair of sandals. "We've gotta get to Queens," he said as he stepped out, glancing around, noting that there were no peculiar looks towards them.
McKenzie turned her head slightly to look at Nick, watching him with a small smile on her lips. "Nothing," she answered back softly before, again, turning to watch the movie. There was something about his focus on the moving picture that made him seem so, innocent, and McKenzie wanted to give him that moment. She knew that moments like that were hard to come by, especially during the war. She settled back against him and let him wrap his arm around her once again.
Michael heard the sound of the door opening and shutting. Many times. Then he felt the eyes on him. He finished his next move and stopped, sighing. He didn't like training with an audience. He figured that one set of eyes belonged to Emory, but wasn't surprised when he saw Ashton and Dylan beside his parabatai. "Can I help you?" he asked warily as he walked off the training mat to where his towel, shirt, and water bottles laid in wait. He scooped up an energy drink and drank half of it before downing a bottle of water. He wiped his face and looked over at the trio that had been watching him before.

"Em, you realize that this is an Institute book, right?" He asked, looking down at the familiar book. He'd studied from it in the past, but never to the point of making notes in it. He smiled, though. If there was anything he enjoyed, it was enthusiasm, and boy, did Emory ever have enthusiasm. The boy nodded and glanced over her notes, already knowing what the illustrations showed. "Well, do you want to try some out, or are you just going to stand there and hold the book?" he teased, her excitement rubbing off on him.

Allina, the middle Fairchild, was sitting in front of the computers screen in the center of the Institute. Since talk of an uprising against the war had begun among herself, Logan, and Nate, she'd spent a lot more time inside on the computers, than outside, sneaking off to meet with Noah. She wanted to end this war so that things could have a sense of normality. She swiveled in the chair as she thought about their next move, wondering if they'd be able to get agents from the Vampires and Warlocks to agree with them on the cause.
Nate was up in his room, laying on his back, staring at the ceiling from the floor. After his meeting with Nick and the Fae, Hydra, he'd just needed some time to think about the things that were going on. Everything seemed to be falling apart faster than he and his fellow Shadowhunters could try and put it back together; and that never sat well with him - he was a fixer and he couldn't seem to get things to stick.
Camille, since her last encounter outside of the Hotel du Mort, was basically under house arrest. She hadn't meant to cause trouble and it was completely out of character for her, but she was paying for her actions nevertheless. She meandered around the floors, restlessly, waiting for the promise day where she could finally leave the hotel and breathe in some fresh air and find some fresh blood.
Noah, knowing fully well that Allina couldn't hang out, was actually in the park looking for his buddy Max. The older mundane hadn't seen the boy in a while and wanted to catch up and see how the situation with the bullies was going. He roamed around the massive park with is headphones in, minding his own business.
Jessilyn was lazily making her way around a club, keeping track of those who were coming and going from the club. Since the outbreak of the war, the Warlock was finding it harder and harder to keep patrons coming. Sure, she'd always have her vampires and their subjugates, but there was something different about the atmosphere when the werewolves and fairfolk weren't in on the party as well. She made her way from the front of the club to the back, where the bar was and sat on one of the high stools, conjuring herself a drink. She sipped it absentmindedly as she watched the near-empty dance floor with a sigh.
[[ From an earlier post, if you'd like to RP, Moss. Fair warning, though, I may fall asleep, but if I do, I'll respond when I wake c: Oh, and who's who... Allina and Nate are Shadowhunters, Camille is a Vampire, Noah is a mundane, and Jessilyn is a Warlock ;; take your pick! c: ]]

Leila was in her room sitting on her window sill with her violin in hand. She was working on creating her own piece of art, her nimble fingers transitioned from the super high yet, beautiful notes to the lower ones creating a beautiful melody. Her long curls were up on a messy bun that had a few strands that fell around her face.

Michael laughed as Emory realized what she'd done. "Oh, don't worry, Em. I'm sure that Logan can get another copy for the Institute!" he assured her, a laugh still glinting in his eyes. He looked over the notes that she'd written in the margins and nodded. "That's doable," he answered, taking one last look at the illustrations to make sure he had it in his head. He walked over to the case holding the Seraph blades and reached for his own, a blade named Tzachqiel. He looked at Emory, waiting for her to grab her blade and join him by the dummy.
[[ You're very welcome! ]]
Nathan heard the sounds of a violin drifting from down the hallway He knew immediately that it was Leila. he remembered when Allina first joined the Institute and she played the violin. In fact, the instrument was still in her room, in a glass case that was bought specifically for it. However, with the increasing responsibilities, his younger sister had to stop playing on a regular basis. Interested, though at this point, Nathan pulled himself up off his back and walked over to Leila's room, listening to the smooth string crossings and the rich melody that the girl was playing. He stood in the doorway and listened for a moment, waiting for her to take a break before saying, "Hey."

"I hope so," Emory sighed. That was the third time it happened. She just got so caught up in things, plus her battle moves journal was completely filled to the brim. She headed over to where her blade, Abraxos was, covering a yawn as she did so. Grabbing her blade, she smiled at it before returning to the dummy. "Okay, we should try this out slow at first," she told him, unsure if she could get all the steps in one try.

Nathan glanced around the room, noting how elaborate it was compared to the rooms of the other Shadowhunters. "Oh, I didn't mean to have you stop playing," He said quickly, looking slightly alarmed. He paused, and out of character figured that since she'd stopped, he'd just chat with he. "How's it going?" He asked, fixing his eyes back on Leila. For him, it'd already been a long day, but for many others, the day had just started. Nathan hadn't changed out of his clothes from his earlier meeting, but there was no indication of said meeting - simply, he was wearing a pair of dark jeans and a form fitting gray t-shirt.
"Here's the deal," Michael began, "After we try this, we'll go get you some more notebooks and we'll go talk to Logan or Abby." He watched her carefully as she walked to the case, "I'm sure they'll be excited to know that the books are at least being used." The boy gave a nonchalant shrug, knowing that the books were indeed being used but few knew about it. "Are you sure you're okay to be trying this?" He asked, giving her a concerned look.

The older Shadowhunter shrugged, "I'm fine, doing well," he answered, knowing that his answer was fairly vague, but it didn't matter. "Just been a long day," Nathan continued with another Nathan-esque shrug. "Just heard some violin music and brought back old memories is all."

Hydra nodded at him. "Are we taking the subway?" She started walking through the entrance of Central Park, ready to enjoy the discreet beauty of the park. Children playing, adults watching on picnic tables, squirrels zooming around with cheeks full of nuts: it was a beautiful scene to anyone who looked for it.

[[ I should get out of bed and get ready for work.... after this reply. I'll be home later! ]]
Austin nodded, "The subway," he repeated. He looked around the park, feeling a familiar air of content falling over him. The feeling of innocence and ignorance, an undisturbed peace of families playing in the park, the quiet melody of the breeze; it was something that would be lost if this war couldn't be contained. Austin shook his head and snapped out of it, but wasn't ready to rush out of the park.

He grinned as he watched. He was obviously captivated by the movie and didn't plan on doing anything else until the movie was over. He snuggled closer to Kenzie and gently leaned his cheek on her head. Dylan and Ashton stood there. Dylan spoke up. "I know I want to try this. It'll be useful in battle."
