Austin pursed his lips and just nodded with a shrug. He closed his eyes and took a moment to collect himself before walking deeper into the house. The Fae obviously knew where he was going and walked through the maze of the house. It was neat and everything had it's place on tables and shelves. He took a final turn and stood before doors to what looked like a large room. A sign posted nearby read "Aviary". He nodded and pulled on the handle, letting himself in - welcome or not.
Kenzie pouted but accepted the light kiss. She paused and looked at him as if a thought had just crossed her mind but she shook her head and shrugged. "I think I'm going to call it a night, but if you want, you can watch something else," she answered.
Michael, as clueless and careless as he could be sometimes, was paying very close attention as he usually did in practice and in battle. He noticed the misstep and followed into Emory's crouch, mirroring her nearly exactly, throwing the knives as Emory swung her blade forward. He'd mistimed the throw, however, and his knife flew above Dylan's head. With an internal wince, Michael kept following along, blades in hand, ready to go again.

Hydra followed him, admiring the cleanliness and organization of the house. It was very large though, and she was relieved she had a guide in this maze. They stopped briefly at a door labeled Aviary, but Austin opened the door without hesitation, as he led her into it. It was a large room like it had appeared to be, but it was overflowing with cages filled to the rim with pigeons. In the corner sat a cramped desk with an old man behind it, quill in hand, writing furiously on a piece of yellowing...parchment?

Hey guys, I'm sorry that I have to do this, but I'm going to have to leave this rp. I'm too busy to keep up with it and though I have seen the movie; (And LOVED it!) I don't really know much about this rp and don't really feel comfortable rp it, since I don't really understand what all they can do. Again, so sorry. )

[[ No worries, Shatter ]] [[[ Way to go, Flick. Way to go cx ]]]
Austin noted the older gentleman sitting at the desk scribbling on the parchment. He was quiet for a moment before speaking - "Good afternoon, Matthew," he said, surely interrupting the man's thoughts. When the man looked up at the pair of Fae, it was noticeable that the man was wearing a pair of gold rimmed glasses, his hair receding from his forehead.
"Well... it can't be," he said, looking Austin up and down.
McKenzie looked at Nick, considering her options. "I can't just take your bed," she said, shaking her head. But it was too soon to just sleep in the same bed. She figured that Nick offered her the bed because of the thought he thought she had - but it wasn't what he thought it was.

Michael's eyes flicked over towards Emory for a moment, noticing her trouble against Dylan. He let another knife loose, this time nicking Ashton's leg this time. He glanced over at Emory one last time before nodding. They were on the same page, so they were about to take on one of the two before them

Michael followed the lead, barely a second behind his Parabatai. He noticed the move on Ashton and he followed suit, letting knives fly one after another.

Hydra stayed silent, inspecting his graying hair, skin, and gold-rimmed glasses. What was he doing, surrounded with pigeons during what surely were his last days? Did Austin call him Matthew? As if they knew each other well-she wondered what the history was between them. Why was Austin so sure they'd get a pigeon from him, anyway? Why were they even here in the first place? It seemed like such a ridiculous idea: sending a pigeon to the Fae Queen? Psh, ridiculous. But here they were.

Austin nodded. "But it is," he answered, a rare glimpse of a smile appearing upon his lips. "Indeed it is," Matthew said with a nod in return. Then his gaze flickered over towards Austin's companion. "This is Hydrangea," Austin introduced. "Hydra, Matthew." "Pleasure," Matthew responded, looking over at the other Fae standing before him. It was plain to see that the older being was not about to stand up, so Austin moved in closer to the table at which he sat. "What brings you here?" the graying man asked, looking between the two. "The last time I saw you... well, you were but a wee one."

McKenzie looked at Nick, considering her options. "I can't just take your bed," she said, shaking her head. But it was too soon to just sleep in the same bed. She figured that Nick offered her the bed because of the thought that she had - but it wasn't what he thought it was. I don't technically know what Kenzie thought. xD ] Nick shrugged. "Remember, I have the extra bedroom. You can sleep there if you want. I don't sleep there because it's a guest bedroom." He looked back at Kenzie. She gave him a slight nod, her focus inwardly focused on Ashton. She narrowed her dark blue eyes, feigning focus on Dylan, leaping forwards him, waiting until her feet touched the ground to lunge towards Ashton, elbowing her in the back, hard, as if to disarm her. Michael followed the lead, barely a second behind his Parabatai. He noticed the move on Ashton and he followed suit, letting knives fly one after another. Ashton grunted and stumbled forward as she got elbowed. She dropped her knives in order to keep balance, and she quickly dodged Michael's knives. She rolled, grabbing her knives. She arrived in a couch and turned launching a few knives of her own at both of them. Dylan mirrored Ashton and swung his blade at the closest one of the other Parabatai's legs, which happened to be Michael. He hoped to trip him up for a moment.

[[ True true. She's thinking about how people will react to the Shadowhunter-Werewolf relationship because of her strong ties to her family but at the same time doesn't care because she likes Nick so much ]]
Kenzie nodded. "I'll take the guest room then," she said, quietly, looking up at him. Whatever she was thinking about was visibly troubling her, despite trying not to let it show
Michael grunted as the blade knocked into his legs, causing him to fall forward ever so slightly. Instead of letting the loss of balance be a detriment, he let his forward momentum project the knives in his hands forward before recovering to his feet.

Kenzie didn't answer and instead walked into him for a hug, leaning heavily against him, her head against his chest. "Being a Shadowhunter sucks," she said eventually. It was a natural feeling to be worried about it, but Kenzie wished she didn't care and could just love with no barriers.
