What is everyone's favorites? Can be from any country. Personally I just really like the OG English art - Wayne McLoughlin was a very good artist and his art gives me nostalgia. However I also really love the polish covers! Like look at this this is awesome. Also I like the russian art's style. The fable vibes they give me are very nice.

Feathertail on the Polish Moonrise cover. For the English covers, I really like Tall Shadow on the reprinted cover of The First Battle along with Ivypool and Dovewing in The Ultimate Guide

I've always loved Outcast and The Forgotten Warriors Original Covers, The Sun Trail is at a close second though. For never covers, I like Thunder and Shadow's cover as well as The Sun Trail's new cover. Mapleshade's Vengeance, Starlight, and Sign of the Moon are my favorite of the Polish Covers.

The new cover for The Forgotten Warrior is my favorite, it looks so nice and sharp. And all the Polish covers, especially for Night Whispers. I love the icy theme on there.

The Polish cover for The Rise of Scourge remains my favorite. I love his smug little face and the more cartoony art style.

I really love wayne mcloughhlin, his art made warriors seem like it was a real and documented study about this unusual feral cat colony, the portraits he paints of the characters always feel like they've been spotted in the wild like bigfoot and i just love it🤭
i think my favourite portraits are probably, whitestorm, dovewing, sandstorm, squirrelflight and leafpool. I've always really liked his depiction of leafpool where she's laying down beside the puddle in the cave of pointed stones, i know it's usually agreed to be the moonpool that she's laying at, which makes sense also, but after reading a passage in the books where leafpool tries to communicate with her warrior ancestors through the tribe puddle, along with the description of the cave of pointed stones matched with the picture, i really like to think that it's a picture of that moment. i completely derailed there, i like the portrait because wayne paints leafpool as looking sort of.. well, ginger, and that might be a trick of the shadowy and blue lighting, but i like to think that wayne deliberately painted her with a brighter saturation in her pelt to create more of a likeness to her parents💕 i think this maybe goes without saying but i really don't like leafpool and squirrelflights canon colours, and maybe this isn't the time or place to be delving into that topic, but i really honestly want to. leafpool and squirrelflight being brown and red always bothered me, squirrelflight less than leafpool, but in a general consensus, i didnt like them when they were first introduced, and never warmed up to them either. and this is a real shame too because i really love who squirrelflight and leafpool are as characters, but from the very beginning of the second arc, 9 year old me had a frustrated impression to the books, maybe another reason i didnt like the series was because brambleclaw was in pov, but thats a different conversation😁 squirrelflight was easier, in my mind, to picture as a product of sandstorm and firestar, i decided that it'd make more sense for her to be lighter, because i felt like sandstorms pelt would dilute squirrelflights, if only a little, and i kept the white paw because although it might feel like im super severe about characters looking identical to their parents, i actually believe that if a character looks well enough like one or both of them, then they should definitely be allowed some unique quirks to them. but leafpool💔 oh man i really didn't like her design, not only was she a brown tabby with a white chest and paws, but she had amber eyes aswell, and this upset me, because i expected to see firestars legacy carried down by cats that looked a lot more similar to him, heck i thought that the erins deliberately matched two ginger and green eyed cats together so that they could only have ginger cats, but they didn't do this? i promise I'm not a nut case, but leafpool and squirrelflight are 😥 in terms of general character design, and please don't try to bring up recessive genes because theyre two ginger cats both with green eyes, surely whatever recessive genes they might carry would be entirely pummelled by their dominant genes? honestly thats a free question because i dont know the first thing about cat genetics, but i do know that squirrelflight and leafpool look more like the products of spotted×fire kits then they do fire×sand, the brown pelt and amber eyes massively resemble spottedleaf, as well as squirrelflights red pelt being very similar to the colour of spottedleafs dapples in wayne mcloughlins official art. people depict spottedleaf in so so many different ways across the warrior cats artist community, and i usually see either a depiction of a golden and brown spottedleaf, which reminds me of leafpool, and then the ones that seem to resemble the official art more. okay im sorry, bye❤️

I love the Polish new covers as well as the new German ones. I'm unfortunately not able to share the nostalgia many other fans have for the original cover art of the late Wayne McLoughlin but at least can say that I really like some of his old interpretations for this series. The new covers drawn by Owen Richardson also have some good ones though. Polish example ( Fading Echoes): German example ( Forest of Secrets): Wayne McLoughlin example ( Sunset): Owen Richardson example ( The Forgotten Warrior):
