What form of non-mainline books do you tend to enjoy the most? Super editions, novellas, or the mangas/graphic novels?
I like super editions the most!

Hard choice between SE's and mangas but I'll choose SEs since they have more content.

1. Super editions(Larger books than the original series, meaning more content than usual, gives us the backstory to semi-important side characters or sometimes main characters. Not all of them are amazing, but all the SEs at least have some redeeming qualities for me to put the SEs this high.) 2. Manga (I haven't actually read many of them, but I can at least remember what happened in the ones I did read. It's also interesting to see these cats in mangas in general, and they're entertaining to read.) 3. Novellas (Stuffing three short stories into a single book that has the same amount of pages as the original books means that the stories will be a lot more condensed and will have a lot less character development in them. I genuinely cannot remember any of the novella's stories aside from Mapleshade's, Spottedleaf's, Leafpool's, Tree's, Hollyleaf's, and the ones from the most recent novella. They're honestly extremely forgettable, and the only reason why I ever remember them is either because of the drama surrounding some of them, because it's about one of my favorite characters, or because it was recently released. And even then, I almost completely forgot that Spotfur had a novella in the newest one. I'm not saying they're all horrible, but they're not great either.)

Okay it really depends on the individual books. I can’t just say “oh I love SEs more than novellas” when books like Tigerheart’s Shadow and Squirrelflight’s Hope exist.
But like. There’s also some awful novellas. I’d say the SEs, for the most part, tend to be more interesting. But when I’m going back and re-reading everything in chronological order (because I’m a nerd and do that… like a lot lmao), the bad SEs are a lot harder to get through than the bad novellas. At least the bad novellas are only bad for like 10 chapters and then you move on. The bad SEs can easily take me over a month to get through.
So ultimately I like SEs better, but the bad SEs are a lot more painful to get through than the bad novellas.
I like the mangas/graphic novels, but I don’t love them. They’re just kinda there. I used to enjoy trying to copy the cats from them when I was a kid though.

I honestly think that Winds of Change and a Shadow in RiverClan are two of the best books we have gotten in recent years. Super Editions and Novellas are mostly disappointing, completely unnecessary or filled with mistakes (and sometimes all three at once) in comparison.
