Casual, Open Roleplay for People Who Want a Pet But Don't Have One
How this works
This rp is a little different. Each person who joins this rp has to make at least one human and at least one pet (preferably a cat). No human can be left without a pet, and no pet can be left without a human. Ask me for exceptions. But not too many exceptions because the whole point of this rp is to have a pet. You can also find a partner. One of you rps the pet, the other rps the human. Basically just tell the journey of how the human found the pet, what made them choose the pet, and then just rp silly, playful stories about the human and the pet.
The pet store is called Patricia's Perfect Pets. It sells everything that has to do with pets. The city this takes place in is a cross between a town and a city and is called Haskerville.

Patricia - Human - 47 years - Male - Transgender - Patricia is more feminine-looking than masculine. He has short-ish brown hair and hazel eyes. Patricia is a transgender man, but has never changed his name or body. He believes that his identity is enough, and that his appearance should be kept because to throw it away would be ungrateful. Patricia also believes that he is not ready, even though he has been officially transgender for 30 years. Patricia loves pets and is fascinated with animals. To him, nature is underrated. He is quiet, but will speak up for what he believes. Jasminedusk
Marygold - Human - 13 years - Female - Lesbian - Marygold is a pretty young girl with green eyes and wavy black hair that touches her shoulder. She is gentle and kind and often keeps to herself. Marygold is very lonely and has always wanted a pet bird. She loves trees and clouds and is more think than talk. Jasminedusk
Minuet - Cat - 15 moons - Female - Heterosexual - Minuet is a black cat with yellow eyes. She is spunky and will get irritated easily. Minuet has been in Patricia's Perfect Pets for a while because no one chose her because of her fur color. Minuet can talk a lot, but she is very observative and because of that she learned that black cats were bad luck. Minuet is now extremely sensitive of superstitions, and considers them an insult. Brunhilde (Bruni) - Human - 22 years - Female - Pansexual (with a preference for masculinity) - Long, straight blondish-reddish hair, pale skin, blue eyes, usually wears a black leather jacket, a black skirt and kneehigh boots over a graphic T with a little pixellated green alien picture. Energetic, sweet and friendly, with somewhat of a dark side. Meaning she secretly thinks violent thoughts and has anger issues. She gets stressed easily and is a perfectionist, but she cares deeply for people and would do anything to help others. She came from an average family, was homeschooled throughout her childhood and teen years, and is something of a loner. Life in the big city is daunting to her, which is why she feels the need for an animal companion to make things easier. Melvin - Cat - 15 moons - Male - Heterosexual - Gray-black tabby with white belly/chest/paw/face markings, lime green eyes, red collar. Sharp, sarcastic and intelligent, kind of rude, aggressive. Bruni rescued him from a pet shelter recently, and after a couple weeks of scratches, growls and tears, he's allowed her to keep him in her home. For now anyway. (He's an arrogant smartass).
