hello!
i'm cam and i'm 22. i write in paragraph format and typically match my partner. on average i'd say i can go upwards of 500+ words per reply, or more if i'm invested. it's been a LONG time since i've set foot on these forums... i haven't been out of the loop with roleplaying, though; i'm rather looking for more potential partners! do note i struggle with anxiety + social anxiety so at times i just shut down. no hard feelings i just need time to myself!a few disclaimers and tidbits about what i'm interested in:
- i prefer to write with other people that are 18+ when writing 1x1. i'm not particularly interested in venturing into nsfw settings on these forums, and would rather explore other topics at the moment. the "write with other adults" thing is more for my comfort since... i'm 22
- if romance does happen, i'm not interested in "uwu soft" characters, sorry. i like characters with flaws and quirks, with a personality other than being shy and crying all the time.
- i LOVE angst and drama. i like pitting our characters against the odds and seeing how they tackle it.
- i have existing characters i'm willing to use and they are all listed here: characters! i am definitely open to creating new ones though!
- I CANNOT GUARANTEE QUICK REPLIES. altho i usually am pretty.. fast about replying.. please don't contact me if you cannot wait several days or more in between replies. i can tell you right now that being pinged daily for a reply from me is probably going to get you nothing i'm sorry ljfdldkjflksjdf i'm like to think i'm p patient if i'm kept in the loop, but i am ditch friendly! just please let me know beforehand so i can move on
- i would prefer to rp in DMs, but would prefer even more so to rp on Discord as that's where i'm the most active
- please be willing to write in paragraph format (i do too + i write in all lowercase)! not interested in script or random abbreviations (literally writing "LOL" or "LMAO" while in character)

- "i know i'm rich enough for pride, i see a billion dollars in your eyes."
our characters are a criminal duo, working as one unit to steal and rob from the countries most exquisite museums, banks, etc. They're highly elusive, and, for a rather large sum of money, are often contracted by business owners looking to profit through other means. They have done this before, but when they are contracted by the wrong person with a shady background, they are forced to work for this businessman with no other option - it's either work for him, be killed, or be exposed to the country. Our characters partake in a few criminal acts under this businessman, until they decide they have had enough and choose to plan some sort of escape. Unknowingly, he has multiple eyes in almost all cities across the nation, and are continued to force to work for him, until they decide that they are done and begin to plan a way to kill him and free themselves. - "i will not run in circles, ending where i start"
set in a post-apocalyptic world (or during), our characters are forced to fight for survival against a spreading disease caused by a mysterious mist that turns humans into savage beasts, willing to kill without mercy, while also attempting to find a cure. the cure was rumored to be located in an isolated lab far from their hometown -- of course, these are all rumors, so whether it's truly there or not is up to you. the world is against them it seems, because it is so run down and destroyed that it truly feels like our characters are running in endless circles. could end in saving the human race or humanity's ultimate downfall.
i would highly prefer moving onto discord to actually write so i don't lose anything but dms are ok if necessary!
